Ertai Vexic Binatica No wonder Ertai does this s**t all the time, playing his game is ******** fun! I do it correctly. You better stop toying around or I will kill you wish psionics. I want to engage you as you are, Psionic's are not your game so dont try and stand to me with them, you're just annoying me. But I'm not using psionics, I'm using magic. They're like the same thing, except magic's more efficient and easier to use and without limiters it's faster too. Besides, I'm obviously shredding your skill to bits with my awesome, as your last post in the thread is only four lines while my last post there is five lines! If you measure skill with wordcount NOW I WIN TOO b***h AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Raven Yun Vahn, that's how most tournaments turn out. Its a contest to see whose d**k is biggest, and whosever d**k is biggest, gets the grammie. Your skills don't matter; its your ability to spew out as much bullcrap as you can within five paragraphs, then hope your opponent is too dazed and confused to realize what you're doing, and get a punch right to the ovaries. Well, if I can help it, that's not how this tournament is going to end. They can walk in with they dicks in they hand, might be leavin' with they foots in they a**; be coool. It annoys the s**t out of me when people do that, especially the ones who put "would" before every action. Especially in FFA. Binatica Nope, according to MY mechanics, magic and psionics are seperate branches on the ability tree. And according to your reasoning, every time someone thinks they're using psionics. Agreed. Magic is magic, an unexplanable force or something that uses mana, not necessarily 'tangible' thoughtwaves or 'psionic links'. You can use your magic or mana to control a fireball, and if you try to do the same thing to someone's mana that you're trying to do to their 'psionic links', a simple mage power struggle begins that could viably end with Gelmax simply saying that he has more control over his own magic/mana that someone else. If someone has a cap on their thoughts or a mind shield as protection, then all of that manipulation is moot. As for warping reality, that's all he's doing, using his magic to warp it. Electrons don't have anything to do with the flow of time or reality; Gelmax would obviously be working on a smaller level than electrons, on the fabric of reality itself, which can't really be explained. Call it quintessence or aether if you want, but if you try to overpower him there, again, it'll likely just end up being a power clash where mechanics don't exactly come into play. You might very well be settling this with a melee battle. Just because you say your character is more powerful or fast than another's, whether you have an infinite amount of cyological minds to back it up, there is still a cap on speed and power and just because you say something is so because mean it's true when it comes to another's character. I hope people who are afraid of encountering Ertai in this tournament are paying attention. Ryu Versher 777 I know this already, but it's rather stupid. They should go back to the Old School ways, where whatever happened, happened. And the other opponent just had to create something to back their BS up.
Remember those days? Where a person claims to be a God, and gets their a** whipped by someone who wasn't a God? Just because they created far more variants of manuvers and tactics that disrupted whatever skill the so called, "God," had? ~:Shrugs some:~
All they're doing right now is going, "I'm better than you!" "No, I am! I can prove it." "Nu-uh, you can't prove it. I have the basis of Science behind me! Muahahahaha!" "So? I have the basis of Magic behind mine, Muahahahah!"
"So? My Science is proven!" (Hmm, what happened to the Fantasy there?) "My Magic doesn't have to be proven to exist." (Okay, Fantasy there, kind of goes with a lot of other things that are in Real life too.)
My belief though is that Magic is slightly a step ahead of Science, and once Science finds the little detail to make it known that it can be done, it's not Magic anymore. Thus, Magic really doesn't need any explaination, but if you're going to use Science, you have to be able to explain every nook and cranny of the whole situation. With Magic, as Gel said, it can just happen.
With Science, however, there are some limits to what it really can accustom itself to. Though, Science is used to prove just about anything we say and do.
My thing is: What ever happened to the Fantasy Roleplay aspect of things? People used to have fun creating new things for people to play around with just to have fun, but suddenly Roleplay has to become some serious organization that not everyone can be in.
I could literally go on, and on, and on about this, but I shall not, because if either of them were fighting me. I'd have no form of argument what so ever, and it'll just be the character's skill that proves the victor, not the Player's mind of using any form of manipulation, speculations, and assumptions that one thing is better than another. I see it as simply requiring a higher dimension of perception (not to be confused with dimensions as in planes) than most characters are capable of. Say, for example, that you have a 2D (spatially) character who can't percieve more than 2 dimensions and can't move in any more than 2 dimensions. The world could be 3D, 4D, or 5D, but as far as he's concerned it's 2D because there simply isn't any more to him. Now, suppose there's a character in the same world who is 3D and can see and move in three dimensions. He can do things the 2D character can't even comprehend, moving things it can't touch or even see, and if the 3D character picks up the 2D character and moves it in the third dimension the 2D character can't percieve, the 2D character will be subjective to things impossible for it to know - but which are nothing special to the 3D character. Gel uses the same basic principle, only with more dimensions of perception/effect. To him, he's just pushing gently on a rubber sheet, but to someone who only percieves 3 spatial dimensions (as all humans do) he's ******** with reality itself in ways unknowable.

Gelmax how do you think the pylons came to be anyway? His influence was present, you have just wasted another post trying to do god knows what to me.
Oh, so that means I managed to shred and scatter the energies formerly part of Ertai's influence as well as the pylons? Hot DAMN, you're awfully generous today!
But, on any note, to semi get out of their hair. Who wants to help me analyze major weaknesses in my main character (so that he can enter the tournament)
I have the first draft of any bio I used from him in my profile, and it has been edited like...twice since it was created...I think 3ish years ago. Normally he has the ability to shadowport, but since thats banned, I am trying to concieve another way for him to move speedily and stealthily...any suggestions?Ianex, PM, I'll give you some stealth suggestions. smile I'm serious, some would be suprised at how knowledgable I am. But, nah I'm regarded as a n00b 'round here.
