((looks like the werewolves need to step up their game. They lost yesteryear, too....))
Heather turned the corner, SWAT-style, her weapon already poised to fire. To find a vampire just... sleeping, was a bit strange, but Heather walked sideways into the room, keeping her gun aimed on the sleeping vampire.
But she did not fire. Instead, Heather pulled out a different gun - this one, loaded with darts. And in the darts were - you guessed it - more holy water.
Heather motioned at Akiko to ready her wooden stakes (soaked in holy water) for firing, as that would most likely be the thing that killed the vampire, not her little darts.
The plan was simple: Heather would fire first, while the vampire wa asleep, then Akiko would go crazy with her automatic crossbow. The crossbow could fire about forty bolts (stakes) in quick succession; it then featured a convenient bundle of bolts that only had to be fitted into the bottom to reload it. Spring and gas operated, it automatically restrung itself after every squeeze of the trigger.

Rachel closed her eyes and put her arms around Viren's neck and kissed him.

Viren put his arms around Rachael's body softly, trying not to hurt her, and pushed back into the kiss.

Rachel didn't know if she could be any happier, the man she truly loved was with her, and he would be with her always. She continued to kiss Viren, her worries about her wounds and the hunt were beginning to vanish.
