Arthur smiled lightly as he held the spatula in his hand, flipping it every so often like he always does when cooking, it helps past the time a little and he always tosses it back and forth between hands so he could get his both for his hands into cooking his meals. Though he happened to see Isle wander over with the bottle of wine and without much hesitiation she pour into onto the fish which created a nice pleasent aroma in the kicthen, Arthur of course had to smile at the elf for her unique way of thinking when cooking. "Well I'm glad you did that then, I just hope I don't get drunk from all the wine we will be having." he said with a small laugh as he turned over one of the pieces of fish with the spatula.

Rusty looked at the messy appartement and shrugged. He had seen worst, much worst, in his life time. Let's just say that the orphanages and fosters homes weren't in their tip top shapes nor cleanest looking state.

Rusty gladly accepted a peice of seaweed but not the coffee. When Moonstone asked him the question he looked up at him.

"Well, Deidrick brought me here because I asked him to. I wanted to talk to you about dreams and flashbacks I've had recently. As for her... well... She bumped into us while we were on our way here."

Rusty didn't feel like going into deeper details about the reason the girl was here.

Delaney streched and yawned. Ever since she had left her island and home to find that brat she hadn't tasted such a great meal. She was very pleased with the restaurant the wheatly man had recommended to her.

Now it was time to go back to her search. One day she would find him and maybe then she'd be able to figure out who killed her parents... No she 'would' figure it out. The guy had to know.

"Oh you're an elf, you have a bit of a tolerance for alcohol, no worries." Well of coure they were drinking a more drow brand of wine, seeing as Malik preferred it and Piper had gotten used to it. But soon enough she had busied herself with potatoes, mashing them and seasoning and what not, easily bringing them over to the table and setting them down before going back to fetch plates and glasses for them both.

Kora, despite her uneasyness, slightly lowered her guard and sat down on the floor. She bit into the seaweed and chewed awkwardly.

"Well, Deidrick brought me here because I asked him to. I wanted to talk to you about dreams and flashbacks I've had recently. As for her... well... She bumped into us while we were on our way here."

To be honest, Kora had no idea what she was doing here either. She didn't really know who this 'Moonstone' or who this 'Rusty' was. She just decided to sit quiet and be super observant... for the moment.

She then burried her face behind her cup of coffee, taking a prolongued sip, while her eyes scanned from Moonstone to Rusty.

Arthur chuckled lightly and shook his head as he turned around piece of fish. "well I have gotten drunk before, and boy that was a different experience I can tell you now!" He said with a light grin and looked at Isle while she went on the mashing the potatoes, looks like dinner will be really delicious wit what they were cooking; but even with the wine the elf was far from making a good fish dish, he added certain spices and cooked it a little longer before grabbing a plate and placing the fish onto it, two pieces each. So after getting some slaves to come back in and take care of the dishes Arthur grabbed the plate and whatever Isle didn't get and headed over to the table with a little haste, once he reached the table he set the plate of fish gently down between his spot and Isle's and spread out the utensils and the napkins. "Oh! Wait a minute..." Quickly Arthur ran around to where Isle was and grabbed her chair pulling it out slightly. "Ladies first as they say." He said with his playful grin on his face.

She shrugged. Isle had been drunk plenty of times...that's what happened when you kept going out to places you shouldn't and had a disreguard for your own safety really. Though a blink at him as he apparently remembered something and promptly sprint around the table...only to pull her chair out for her. Aw, wasn't that sweet? It got a chuckle out of Isle really but she just batted her eyes at him, placing a hand to her chest dramatically. "Oh why thank you my good elf." Sitting down in her chair that he had so nicely pulled out for her. "A rules that transcends races really now doesn't it?"

Lunar Dawn

PostPosted: Sat Nov 25, 2006 5:04 pm

Moonstone looked through an impressive display of large and important books, oulling one dawn and setting it at the table. He opened it and started scanning the pages. "Dreams and flashbacks? not really my strong point, but I'll do my best." He ruffled the hair behind his ear with a scartch, yawning again.

"I suppose Deidrick probably wanted me to find you a place to live. Or something like that." He looked at the girl. "What was your name again?"

As Arthur stood there holding Isle's seat he watched her carefully and it seemed that his gesture and kindness really hit home this time; though his grin grew a little bigger as she batted her eyes towards him, she always acted so cute when he was nice to her it made his day knowing that she kind accepted what he was doing. "Not a problem M'lady a elf with such beauty as yours deserves to be treated this way." He said with a small smile, oh how he loved to compliment on her looks, though when she sat down he placed his hands lightly on her shoulders and grinned. "Yup a rule that is taught to many but used so rarely." He pointed out and slowly pulled away to go over to his seat, so after pulling out his chair he quickly grabbed the bottle of wine and poured some of the drink in each of their glasses then sat down. Looking over the food slowly the elf then turned his gaze to the lovely elf sitting across from him and he grinned again. "Well lets eat!" he said in a joyful voice, then he reached for the potatoes while Isle went for the fish, and of course a fresh loaf of bread with butter sat on the side waiting to be cut.

So, it turns out that Isle can cook as well. Wasn;t that nice? Well when you spent so much time on your own then you didn't want to eat low grade food all the time. Of course not. Those moments that she was a home she had spent an awful lot of time learning to cook from her mother. Caprice was an excellent cook. "Live around elves dear Galesen and you shall see that it is quite a common thing really...then again where I come from, all of us elves live up to the ways and grace that are often told of our race." Eating in a rather lady like manor for a woman who looked and acted less so.

Rusty nodded at Moonstone's statement as he took a bite from the seaweed. While chewing it happily, he turned towards Kora as Moonstone asked her a question and waited for the girl to answer it.

With a sigh Delaney found a wall to lean against. She knew he was still in this town but where was the biggest problem right now. Once again she would have to go to the last place he had been seen and according to her source only a few hours ago he was at the Oracle's place.

The oracle... her mind stuck to that word for a bit before she made up her mind to go ask for some directions. She again asked someone that appeared to be whealty. The woman told her the path to take to the Oracle's Manor. He thanked the woman and following the instructions made her way to her destination.

A few knocks on the front doors and she waited for an answer. The feline mage, hoped that someone would of heard her knock.

Well after Arthur had put every piece of food on his plate he placed his hands together like in a prayer, gave a small bow and began to eat in a polite way, he didn't want to act like a slob in front of Isle after all he just acted like a gentleman so why ruin it? Though after she finished speaking the elf set his fork and knife down on the plate and paused to swallow his food before speaking. "Well when you put it that way the surface seems lovely, I really should take a trip up there one of these days." He told her with a light nod before grabbing his utensils and after stabbing a piece of fish he took it and place it in his mouth, chewing on it and giving a light groan of happiness. "You were right the wine did make the taste so much better." he said with a light chuckle before he grabbed his glass and took a small sip.

"Grevious errors? what kind of 'errors'?"

Malik's voice was harder, and his eyes were cold, calculating, and hid any emotional state he might have been in. buisness indeed. Though when the other arrived, Malik gave him a once over, and then moved back to Cahan.

"And do contain your cold, dragonkin. I don't need my servants freezing."

then back to the other one.

"Do you know of these errors? or are you just another mouthpeice at present until this Kuro arrives here?"

Onyx looked at her like she just swallowed a goose whole.

"You've never made a fire?"

"Well...just saying you're going to isn't going to get anything done for you. After all, if you sit around all day just daythinking, you're never going to make those aspirations come true now are you?" Daythingking? Well...elves didn't dream, so it never occured to her to use the word. "You have to be a doer Galesen or you're going to miss out on a lot." Giving a little nod to that as she continued at her food, but gave a smile over to him. "Gets rid of that lingering fishy taste and smell I find...makes seafood in general more pleasant."

"Errors as in currency and what is tempting down here, such things as thus." After all, you couldn't buy off anyone or entice anyone with something that was of no value on the plane. Chunk of steel? Perhaps. Chunk fo gold? Not so much. Though that was all he was going to say on the matter, after all the things he had to say with Malik weren't about this business but about the character of Malik's potiential business plans.

Arthur thought about what Isle had said for a little bit before giving a small nod. "Well if you ever leave or if I could find some other means I'll write and letter and send it up there to Kieran, and of course I'll talk it over with Malik and Piper first, though I know Piper will give me the go for it." Yup he had made up his mind, he wanted to see the surface and he will one of these days, he just had to and no one will stop him from doing so. But when she started to talk about the food he nodded lightly and smiled. "Yeah it does, though I don't mind that taste but really the wine does give it a good flavour and the mashed potatoes are really good too." by now half of his plate has been eaten along with some bread, he was also happy he could spend his free time with Isle, he was a lovely elf and hoped that she didn't have to go back to the surface anytime soon.

"What do you mean 'if I ever leave', of course I'll be leaving in due time. Andal and the surface are my home, it's where I belong. I'm happy with my little closed plane." Punctuated by a little chuckle of sorts from her. Yes, Isle had wanderlust but that was curbed by her sailing and traisping all around Andal. She got her fill easily. "So then try adding it into other things. My mother taught me to cook and she always said a good wine or a hot spice will always make something more than it was before." Giving a nod at that and back to her food, starting at finishing what was left on her plate. "So, you're swordsman right?"
