He was just being Filch. On our first day here, he hounded me and Jade for being pureblood snobs, like our older family members, since he himself is a Squib.
So..we decided to break that stereotype. We became pranksters...and D*** good at what we do, since we've really only been caught a few times. We're hoping to eave our mark the same way the WEasley twins did: teachers cringe and students cheer.

You know, we could have gotten the basilisk venom here, since we used to have one. We would have just needed Harry to politly ask the basilisk for it's venom but no. He had to go and kill it.

Nah. We'll be fine. Besides, our cousin is a run-away Death Eater (none of you know that, by the way *significant look*) and knows a bunch of people to contact. And our other cousin is a worker at a Knockturn Ally shop, so it won't be that hard to get. What I'm more concerned about is the Phoenix Ash and Ashwinder Eggs, because though Dumbledore has a Phoenix, it'll be hard to catch him on a burning day...Unless...*eyes light up* Who wants to play the researching scholar?

I got everything, except the Basilisk venom, Phoenix ash and Dragon claw, but they're on back order and I'll get them next Friday.

Alright. We can get Phoenix Ash no problem, one of us just has to have a genuine interest in seeing a Phoenix burning day...Fawkes could easily provide free ashes, BUT...It owuld require good timing, as well as exceedingly good occlumency.

Why don't we just wait and get all of them when they come in? I mean, this way we can have some fun with the Squib before we use the potion on him.

You could have one of the lesser know tricksters go up and ask to see about burning day. I, for one, would love to research about a phoenix. I mean, you can read about it but it can't be as good as seeing an actual burning.

I still think that we should wait, and get the stuff when it comes in, this way we don't have to do much of anything to get them, because all I have to do is go down and get them.

There's no reason we can't ask to see a Burning Day...In fact, by my calculations, Fawkes should be due for one any time wihing the next two weeks.
But Jade's right, there's no reason to risk expulsion if the Head knew what we were up to. And one of us is bound to give it away, either by forgetting to sheild their thoughts or SOMETHING. There's always a chance something could go wrong, so I'd rather just trust our contact guy. *shrugs* Sorry. But I still want to see the burning day.

True, it would be best to trust the contact guy. But how would you get down there without being missed? Also, seeing the burning day would be cool, just for learning sakes.

You mean I'll be able to do that. Gumi, you've never met my contact guy. You've met my old one, but he got killed in a drive-by, so I got a new one. I mean, I could let you come with me, but you'd have to know the pick-up protocol, which takes a bit more than just a good memory to learn. But, it's up to you. Come to think of it, I don't know if we're doing a dead-drop or a bump-off, I only know when he starts the protocol.
