Leila looked up in surprise at the sound of broken glass and a body hitting the floor in the other room, and saw the form of a girl skid across the floor. She was even more surprised when the girl got up, like nothing had happened.
"I don't think that little girl is human," she whispered to Haucon as she watched the girl retreat to the window. Her eyes then fell on Dream, to see if he was going to try and stop her at all.

Haucon's eyes went wide at the sound of breaking glass and he jumped to his feet and spun around. "What the!? " he began, seeing the young girl get up off the floor. "Is everyone alright?!" He shouted stampeding out of his room toward the girl. "Who the hell are you, and what just happened!?" he shouted again, completely put off by the idea that a demon, (for as Leila had said, this new person couldn't possibly be human) had just crashed through the window into his apartment was completely unnerving. Broken glass littered the floor, along with some pieces of the window casement.

Aysel growled like a feral animal as the fairy came towards her and tensed up, she was not very well up on the powers of fairies and didn't quite know what to expect. "Aysel." she said shortly and climbed onto the window ledge "Flying rat threw me through the window. I'm going to go kill it now." She continued as she stared out of the window looking for the angel.

"Yeah right you are!" he said pulling a dagger from his pocket, more for his own security than in a threatening manner. "And what about my apartment huh?!" he asked, stepping over broken glass as he followed her to the window to look out for the angel as well. ((Welcome back incidentally! sorry I disappeared from City of Angelus...it's like impossible to be a 6 inch asexual character, because they have almost no motive or anything...anyway, then I got crazy busy again! Welcome back!))

Dream sighed, and began to walk towards the disturbance. "Sorry, you two, I'm just have to know what's going on here. They might need me, so I should be there anyway. Carry on with the locket, I'll be back shortly." With that, he calmly strode over to the new, human-like demon.

Upon seeing her, he stopped. Something was wierd here, he could have sworn he had seen her someplace before... She was not human, that was for sure. Even he, who could barely sense the magic of others, knew that much. It was in her eyes. Her very familiar eyes. "Aysel, you say..." He couldn't place it. It wasn't a big deal, though, there were more pressing matters. "You plan to kill it? Whatever it was, it didn't kill you, so why should you kill it in return?"

((No probs smile and ty))

"What and you are going to stop me? With that?" she said scathingly looking at the dagger, the demoness let out a cruel laugh "That will be the day." Aysel shrugged "I don't know, I don't care either. Its your apartment, you fix it." she added to the Fairy.

The demoness looked over at the human and gave him a once over before turning her attention back to the window "It tried to kill me, they all do." Aysel said shortly and a grin spread over her face and she picked up a large shard of glass that cut her hand - though she appeared not to notice and as the angel flew past she threw the glass and it embedded itself in his neck sending him cascading to the floor and landing with a sickening but rather satisfactory crunch.

Aysel climbed off the window ledge and was looking rather pleased with herself. "Well that's all nice and sorted out. I will leave you to...whatever you were doing. It looks very important" the sarcasm was unmistakable as she walked towards the door.

"You killed him. The angel, I mean." He followed her to the door. "And you did so without any feeling of guilt. You remind me of... nevermind." If he mentioned Violet to her, she may seek her out, and if they joined forces, then things could get worse. Better to keep the evil ones seperate. "As a warning, know that if you continue on that path, you will soon have many enemies."

((Dang, maybe I shouldn't have been an angel! Everyone wants to kill them or me! blaugh ))

Holly, too immersed in opening the locket as carefully as she could, took no heed of the occurring events. Her brow furrowed in concentration as her wings, majestically white, took on a red tinge from the heat as they spread.

The room slowly and surely became hotter until Holly gave a small grunt of effort and the lock snapped open. The heat suddenly vanished, leaving Holly chilled as sweat rolled down her face. Her eyes went black as the memories in the locket swirled through her mind.

(Finally!! I've been itching to write this for days now, lol!! Oh, and Italics are the memories.)

As heat flooded the room, Kihaku took an instictive step closer to Holly and the locket. She could feel sweat begin to from on the back of her neck and roll down her back, cold only when the locket was finally open. A bright light shot out of it, envoloping both herself and Holly. As her eyes went blank, almost as if she was dazed, her head dropped against her chest.

It was warm outside, cooling off only with the ocasional breeze that passed by them. The stars were shining brightly overhead, illuminating her way as she moved quickly and silently down the deserted ally. She could hear her persuer above her, the flap of the angels wings the only indicator that she was being followed. In her arms was a small boy, only around three or four years old. He was wide awake, holding on tightly to his mothers chest. Hair as bright as her own lay in a messy pile atop his head as he watched the path in front of them with solmen silver eyes.

As they left the ally way, Kihaku found herself running into a dead end. In front of her was the entrance to what looked like a warehouse, and on both sides she was surrouned by dockage. She moved forward smoothly, left with no choice but to go forward lest she wanted to be caught by the angel. Pushing open the heavy door, she slipped inside and ran to hide behind a pile of crates and barrels, clutching her son to her chest. It was only moments before she heard the entrance of the angel and she stilled, covering her sons mouth and nose lightly to hide his breathing as she slowed her own.

"No more hiding little one," called the angel sweetly as she entered the building. Brilliant blond hair surrouned her face in soft waves, the rest of it gathered at her neck in a ponytail. Her face was angular, with a small, button nose and full, bud shaped lips. Her eyes, however, were the most disturbing feature. What Kihaku knew to once be a gentle green, were now a hate filled black.

Kihaku remained where she was, silent and still, her son the same, though small tears had begun to leak from his eyes in fear. Just as she moved to wipe them away, she felt a small hand yank her hair from behind and pull them both away from their protection. The boy was crying now, his little fists clenching tightly to Kihaku as she cryed out and tried to pull away from the angel. "Come now, little one, you didn't honestly think you could get away from me, did you? Oh? And whats this? An even smaller child.... Tell me, what would you do if I killed this baby of yours?" asked the Angel, her voice still delightfully deceitful.

"I would kill you in return!" she snarled softly, winceing as the hand in her hair tightened. "I would make sure you never made it back to that hell you call Heaven!"

The angel growled in response, before yanking the girl to her feet, only to fling her severl feet away into one of the crates. Kihaku tried to stop herself from hitting, but she knew it was inevitable, so she twisted her body so that her back hit the large box instead and wrapped her arms protectively around the little boy. She was still only for a moment, before pushing herself up and setting the boy down. Kissing his head, she murmured one small word, raising a barrier around him. Turning to the Angel, she forced herself to hide her fear and fight. It was ironic, actually; the same Angel she was trying to kill was the one that had taught her how to do just that.

The Angel left no room for debate as she attacked, moving swiftly and gracefully as she threw the small creature she was fighting into the ground numerous times. Even if she had taught Kihaku to fight, the girl was no where near the level she was on. Kihaku continuesly ran at the Angel, managing to leave quite a few cuts and bruises, but no where near as many as the Angel left on her. The Angel had one small cut under her left eye, a rather long on on her leg, along with a small but deep wound just below her collar bone. Kihaku, on the other hand, was covered in numerous cuts from the shards of broken wood. Her entire right arm was covered in blood because the Angel had used another, much larger, peice of wood and stabbed it into her shoulder. Bruises's, she knew, would be covering the entire abdomen, as well as her back and face. One final blow from the Angel sent her her flying across the room to slam into the wall, putting her very close to unconsiousness.

The moment her body hit the floor, the barrier around her son fizzled and died, leaving him vunrable beyond believe. As she lay on the ground, her eyes widened when the Angel picked up her son and carried him over to stand beside her. "Spare him," she said softly, fear and agony crawling through her eyes. "Please Souseit! He's innocent! He's had no part in wronging you!"

"No," Souseit murmured softly as she stared at the little boy, "I think I'll spare you. After all, there is no greater pain than that of a mother loosing a child."

Kihaku stared up at the other woman in confusion, before she noticed the Angel's hangs moving to her son's throat. Tears were pouring down her sons face as he struggled uselessly against the strong Angel.
"Hahaoya!!" he cried, reaching his hands out to her. She tried to reach up and take him from Souseit, but the Angel stopped her with a swift kick to the ribs. "Mama!!!!"

Water dripped from her eyes in streams of unrelentless sorrow, just as Souseit broke her sons neck. "MATSUDAI!!!" The boy dropped to the floor, where Kihaku instantly gathered his lifeless from against her chest, ignoring her injuries, and held him as tightly as he used to hold her. "My baby...." she whispered, burying her face in his bright orange hair. Her shoulders racked with sobs, she was unable to speak a coherent word to the Angel.

"Let that be a lesson, child, of what happens when you......"

Kihaku's eyes snapped open, as they had slid closed during the memory. Her face was as pale as the winter snow as she slowly dropped to her knees and stared sightlessly at Holly's feet and silent tears dripped down her face.

(Gomen ne!! I know it's impossibly long, but I sorta got caught up in it....It its too long, tell me and I'll edit it or something!! Oh, and Hahaoya means mother...)

Haucon was outraged and seething with anger. Today was just not his day. He looked at the dagger and immediately felt foolish, but at the same time his anger made him blind and he was tempted to rush this beast. He didn't care too much about the angel right now, but his home had been attacked, and it was one of the few places he felt truly safe. He didn't think that an illusion would work on this beast, unless it were a very powerful one, which would take time to construct. Haucon took a deep breath and sighed inwardly. He felt like a deflated balloon, and yet his anger was slowly filling him back up again. Her sarcasm made him want to scream, but as such he stood rooted to the spot visibly shaking with anger.

Holly's eyes streamed with tears as she blinked and shook her head, trying to clear away the last vestiges of the memory. After the initial shock, Holly looked down at Kihaku and fell to her knees in front of her. "Oh, Kihaku...."

Holly gently enveloped Kihaku in a hug, her wings shielding both of them from anything occuring around them. "I know I'm an angel, but I'm here for you."

Kihaku leaned into the other girl as she continued to cry. Her shoulder shook with her sobs as she mumbled incoherently. She clutched the necklace in her hands, holding it close to her heart as if to get one more glimpse of her son. "Matsudai..."

((Now THAT'S Roleplaying! Too long? It's awesome!))

Dream glanced at Haucon, he was exceedingly angry. Dream was angry too, but not nearly as much, and for different reasons. Anyone who killed and thought nothing of it deserved to be punished. As for Haucon's window... that was nothing. It could be replaced very quickly. He sighed, and spoke to him. "Calm down, Haucon. Don't get too agitated. It's nothing to worry too much about."

Leila gently placed the plate on the ground beside her and crawled on her hands and knees of the mattress towards Haucon. She could see him shaking, and it worried her a bit to see him like this. When she got close enough, she wrapped her arms around his leg and weakly hugged it, not caring about the 'girl' that was still there. Anyone who made her love like this was unforgivable...

Aysel merely shrugged "I kill my enemies, so I don't care if I make them." she said and went to open the door and leave the building, upon her last inspection however of the apartment and its denizens at the moment she spotted another angel cradling a girl and a wicked smile flashed across her face. But as it was surrounded bt apparent allies the demoness would wait until she found it alone before striking, she was not fool enought to attack it when she was out numbered.

Aysel had to stand on her tiptoes to reach the door handle and opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. "I guess I will catch you later then." she said nastily and started walking.
