Aria rubbed her eyes trying to get herself awake but she only grew more and more tired. She laid her head back down and whispered. "Joey wake me up when everyone else gets here..." then fell back asleep.

"ALright, love" Joey replied before kissing her cheek gently. "Get some sleep" he said as he rubbed her back, whispering nothings into her ear as she drifted off.

"Number one, Try hurting her and see how far your little panda friend can reach up your a**." he said, making himself clear that anyone who messed with Aria was asking for pain.
"And number two, I knew something was gonna happen...I couldn't figure out what...but this must have been it" he said as he carefully reached into his pocket in a way not to disturb Aria. He shuffled quite a bit as he focused, cutting and riffling the deck multiple times before flipping the top card over.
"...Oh....No..." he muttered as he saw the ace of spades again. He slammed his head backwards into the wall as he looked up to the ceiling. "This is not cool" he said quietly to himself.

"Joey could hardly stand what Lezard was saying, even though he knew he may be right about Aria's master.
When he said not to threaten him again, he laughed softly. "Aye, you ay not want to leave here." he said, back to his casual self. "Tokeru and the others will be here soon" he finished.

Normally while she was asleep her master would come for conversations.
"They think I'm evil!" he whined. Aria was a bit annoyed by the fact that her peaceful rest was disturbed.
They're hunters smart one. she answered.
"That Lezard one was ready to kill me...or you! Even Joey!" the continuos whine of his voice droned on.
Well, you're a strong enough psychic to hold him off. You've had centuries of practice and Lezard can't live that long so you have an advantage. I wont die. And most importantly I wont let Joey get hurt. Not if can help it. she hissed a little.
"But...BUT ARIAAAA!!" he said a little more pathetic. "I don't want to deal with someone who I could murder within seconds. These people waste my time and my effoooooort! I wish they would take me seriously!!!" Enough of this. She couldn't even concentrate on Joey next to her. All she wanted to do was rest until Tokeru came. Then she could say what she wanted to say and deal with her master later. But now she needed he rest so that she would have some control in case of her thirst returning. And she wasn't about to endanger Joey with her blood lust.
MASTER! she hissed aloud whil in her sleep. I am not your mommy! You are a big boy you can handle them yourself! If you don't want to waste your time then don't and just leave so that they can't get to you but I need my rest. So could you kindly give me peace?! she exclaimed her voice so thunderous in her mind that it echoed back to her, repeating over and over again. She cold tell that this disturbed him but got her point across.
"Fine." he hissed. "Be that way."
I will she answered and sensed him leave. Goodness it was great to sleep soundly again.

Tokeru, arm still in ediths, led the shadow stalkers to meet up with the others, to his surprise and happiness he saw that roughly half of all the shadow stalkers had gotten out at this point.
He completly ignored Lezard, not bothering to answer his self indulgent question. Nothing could pop his happiness bubble at this moment.

Joey looked down the tunnel to see Tokeru and Lezard speaking. He held Aria with one hand under her back, while the other was behind her knees. Her head rested on his shoulder as he stood up slowly, using the wall for support.
Joey walked towards his two companions with Aria still in his arms, sleeping peacefully. "Hey Tokeru.....you remember what I said about something bad happening....right?" he asked hypothetically.

((XMAS SHOPPING, gone to go)) Edith, as she held Tokeru's arm closely, looked upon the mass of Shadow Stalkers that had accumulated within the sewers and was glad to see that the majority of them were still alive. The last thing they needed was to lose all the Stalkers except for a group of them. This attack upon the Shadow Stalkers should have been her main concern and yet all she could do was be giddy about Tokeru's and her engagement.
The vampiress could not help but smirk at Lezard's question, if he was afraid of women then he'd be afraid of where and what Tokeru had been doing as the base had begun to blow. She thought of sending a telepathic message to Tokeru to joke about Lezard's question, but decided against it for no real reason.
