"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Seisuke." Ashe said a bright smile on her face. She was pretty shy around people so the thought of getting to know someone made her happy. "Well you may think this weird, but I was thinking of what I wanted to eat." She said with a nervous laugh. Her hands now resting in her laps after shakeing his.

Ashe smiled as she took another bite, a blush dusting her cheeks at how straight forward her reply was. But he didn't seem to mind. Glancing up at him curiously she asked "What were you thinking so hard of earlier?" She was a straightforward girl though she was more curious to things that go on in other peoples heads.

Being to cold to surf Ashe made her way to the lake bundled up in winter clothing and skates thrown over to shoulders. Finding a place to sit down she shifted the boots off her feet and put the ice scates on. This was her second favorite thing in the world to do. Ice skate. Reacing the frozen pound she checked it before slidding off makeing a few laps before doing soome small jumps and scating backwards. Comming to a stop she sied in satifaction her lungs filing with brisk cold air, before she pushed off just gliding getting er ice feet back.

"For two decades now the Hume's have warred with the faeries. The faeries are a peaceful race, we did what they could to defend ourselves. but we can only use our power to help..never to harm, call it a fault of the heart and soul if you will. Faeries were created by the Mother, to upkeep that which she had created. The changing of the seasons from on to the next, the blooming flowers, the hardy trees, the fertile earth, a animals, the weather...even the humes themselves. They however, they believe in a diffrent God now. They believe the Fae are monsterous creatures, set against them by evil, and now seek to destroy us..Nya? Nya are you listening to me?" A tall handsome man with long peppered hair braided behind him stood up from a darkly stained desk, moving towards a girl as dark as he was light. Her black hair was pulled into a loose bun, ringlets of loost hair framing her face softly. She turned to him, startling sapphire blue eyes focusing. "Mm..Yes..Oh yes Daddy, I am listening. He sighed, and sat down beside her. "Nya.. Girl you MUST pay attention. I know how you must feel but.." He reached out gathering her in his arms and hugging her tightly. "We could be attacked by the hume's any day!" he said then, showing slight fustration. She pulled away from him and stood up, "We are always on the verge of attack" She countered. "Always so close to being raided. Why don't we just get up and move as we usually do!?" she whirled around facing the window. "Nya, I understand your fustration, "Daddy" She inturrupted softly. "No, now let me finish I.." But daddy.. They are here." Instantly she regretted her words, she looked at her father her eyes wide. "You have to go. Run. As fast as you can...Take this..." He pulled from his pocket a small necklace, Crystal topped with silver, within the silver a blood moon stone was embedded, the tip of the cut stone toucing the crystal within. Their bond as permanent as a mated couple. "Mamma's neckalce." She said softly, The man nodded handing it out to her. her mother had been amoung the first of the casulties in this war, killed on her way to Spring Celebrations when Nya had been only three moons old. Her father stepped forward and slipped the necklace around her neck. " Take these as well, "He handed her three palm sized bags, each filled with jewles. She looked up at him oddly, "But..you are going with me." she said a hesitant demand, mixed with question. He shook his head. No.. child. I must stay. "Daddy you can't do that!" she said "I need you!" He smiled and kissed her gently on the forehead. A women entered at that point, travel pack in hand. She handed the pack to the still arguing Nya, he couldn't stay, She neded him. She couldn't go out by herself..alone.. it was against everything she'd beent taught! She had been the last child born before the war.. the only child born since. She was the last of the fae in a way...last of the young ones. She began to panic, and the woman thrust the pack into her hands. "I'm sorry, Nya..I am.." he said tears now in his own eyes.. he paused and took a breath, taking a cup from the desk.."Here... Why don't you take a drink?" he asked, she took it shaking her head.."I don't reall.." he cut her off..."Take a drink anyway girl, You'll need it for the road." She growled, but gulped down the liquid, she stopped, then, looking at the cup. "Daddy..." she said softly looking at him in shock. "Did youreally?" He looked at his daughter, tears falling freely down his cheeks. "I love you..Daughter. All you need is with you now. "
Darkness suddenly crushed her world, the ground rushing upwards to meet her.
When she woke the nausea within her gut was difficult to ignore, in a contradictory pattern, as was the hunger. She groaned, the grass beneath her soft, Grass, she blinked, her eyes adjusting to the light around her. What had happened? She moved to sit up, but found doing so made the nausea much worse. Instead she lay there on her side for a long while, allowing the chaotic mess within her mind to settle. She remembered...nothing.. What had happened to her? She opened and closed her eyes, several times. Her name..she knew that. She knew what she was..she was Fae. She knew her age.. 22. There was a War.. A war...with whom?... She sighed, the nausea finally going away. She sat up slowly, testing each movement before fully following through with it. It was dark, the night sky littered with small twinkling stars...stars she'd never seen before. Reality snapped back into place and she began to stand, She was clothed in a simple black dress, the fabric so soft, it was unlike anything seen within this world. Its fibers had been made from the petals of black orchids. She shivered though, she reached for the bag that had laid beside her. She began to wander then..trying to remember..trying to figure out..what had happened...and where the in the world she was.

She had stopped wandering long before and now sat by the edge of a large lake, its icy cool waters calm, nearly frozen along the shoreline. She shivered now, uncontrollably, freezing as the air around her chilled. With nothing but the dress she wore, it was going to be a long night. She glanced up, then around, Looking to see if she could spot a safe place to build a camp for the night. She would have to explore more of this strange world when the sun rose again.

A light tapping echoed through the chilled night. She had woke in her bed sweating and knew the winter's eve would soothe her. If her Mother came looking she'd be found hopping along the stones at the water's edge.

her teeth chattered now, and she stood, she had to get moving less her body turn into ice as the lake had. With her pack on her back, and her arms wrapped as tightly about her as they could go she shivered on, and began to walk, looking for anything that could be used for warmth. It was not long before a soft Tap Tap Tap could be heard, her attention piqued, she headed in the direction.

Steam circled around the young woman as she jumped from stone to stone. The hard soles of her shoes making the only sound....well that and the tinkling of the keys she carried with her. Being what she was, heat rose from her keeping the area around her warm and dry. She saw a stranger looking her way and waved.
