Falkner watched, showing no signs of frustration or confidence as Spearow took the volley of poisoned needles. Each strike weakened the silky strings that tied it down, it wouldn't take much force to free itself now. "No more playing around! Spearow! Use your Aerial Ace!" Falkner commanded firmly. Spearow narrowed its eyes, puffing out its small body and wings, causing the remaining strings to break apart. Once again free to fly, Spearow hurried into the air, turning sharply and diving down, slashing with its beak and claws.

"I'm sure it did," Mitsu said reassuingly. She follow Kasiya outside of the Pokemon Center. "If you need any help from us, we'd be happy to help you," she said with a smile. By us she had meant her team of Pokemon of course. Ebony pumped his fists into the air, reminding Mitsu that she had taught the Ghost Pokemon Brick Break, then quickly latched onto Mitsu shouldered again letting loose another laugh through his clenched teeth.

"No way to avoid this one... Spinarak, use Scary Face!" Spinarak hissed as it stood up on it's front legs revealing the face on it's back. It began to hiss and snapp it's pincers as the face changed, the mouth frowned and the eyes elongated to give it an angry demenor. Just as the face flashed it's frightening look Spearow connected and sent Spinarak flying next to Crenu. It landed on it's back with it's legs sprawled out and it's eyes dazed. "You earned a rest Spinarak, come back. Larvitar, get in there!" Crenu called Spinarak back into her pokeball and Larvitar jumped out ready for a fight. "Your Spearow's tough, but this ends here!"

((Sure I had one so you can have one to, besides we dont really have anything better to do.)) Shrugging Dante followed Keegan since he seemed to know where he was going, he hadn't really spent a lot of time here when he was little so he didn't really know his way around that well. Kenny floated back up to his spot near Dante's shoulder and watched the surrounding's as they made there way to the pokemon center.

"Don't underestimate the power of bird Pokemon!" Falkner called back. "Your Spinarak has potential. Keep training with her and she'll surely become stronger." Spearow landed next to its trainer, looking a little shaken. The Scary Face had certainly had an effect on it. Falkner glanced down at his partner, and nodded. "Leer!"
Spearow gave a curt nod, flying back into the fray and ready to battle. It's eyes shone with a sinister glow as it cast a dark, unnerving glare at Larvitar.

"Heh, don't patronize me. Larvitar, use Leer right back!" Larvitar nodded and appeared to grinn as it stared directly at Spearow with a hard glance. His eye glistened and the dark disposition already in the air grew thicker. "Don't take Larvitar so lightly, he's stronger than he looks."

Upon reaching the small town of Viridian Toph paused slightly her dirty feet shifting slightly on the now paved road that she was on. It wasn't that she couldn't see on a paved road, as long as it was earth, rock or metal she could see, it was just the fact that she couldn't read any of the sign's or see the red roof that would designate a building as a pokemon center. Frowning slightly she bent down slightly so that she was near Edge and whispered not wanting the few people who were out to hear her. "Edge can you lead me to the Pokemon Center?"
Toph had never liked relying on other's but she wasn't quite sure what to do in some situation's. Beside's relying on one's pokemon was a bit better then asking some one else for help. Or at least thats how Toph thought of it.
Not questioning his misteress Edge just looked around some befor spotting the pokemon center, and started heading over to it his misteress following behind him once again taking the same confident step's that most people with vission didn't have. Within moment's they were standing inside the pokemon center. Toph returned Storm prefuring to keep Edge out with her and knowing that her 'bodygaurd' pokemon would feel better about being out.

"Thanks," Kasiya grinned, glad to know that Mitsu was on her side as well. Firstly, she released Hiro. The mighty Arcanine shook himself, taking a moment to look around. Second, she released Seto. The sleek Persian materialized in front of her, and gave a sharp meowing sound. Kasiya reached out to pet him. "It's good to see you too, Seto," she smiled. "Even though it hasn't been that long." She stood up again, as Shocker jumped to the ground to join her companions, taking the Ultra Ball in her hands. "Here we go," she said, rembembering suddenly the vicious turn Hiro had taken when she first released him. Shuddering, she blocked out the memory and let the Absol out of his confinement. He stood, blinking at them with his crimson eyes, realizing where he was after a moment or two. "I have something for you, Casimir," Kasiya told him, holding up the Soothe Bell. "It'll help us to get along better."
"Sol," Casimir snorted, sitting down and looking away from her. Kasiya stepped up to him, her lips set in a tight line. She didn't know what the Absol would do. She knelt down, holding out the Soothe Bell. She'd reached out to tie it around his neck when he lunged at her, missing only by a few inches. Kasya cried out, falling on her rear and looking terrified. The intimidated look on the girl's face was mirror'd in the Absol's expression as Hiro and Seto both let out low, vicious growls, and Shocker had taken a few steps forward, a rain of sparks falling from her yellow cheeks. Casimir remained completely still as Kasiya got back up, and tied the ribbon around the dark Pokemon's neck.
"There," she said, jumping back in case he tried to attack again.

Falkner only smirked, flipping his hair out of his eyes once more. "Alright Spearow, fly up and use your Tri-Attack again."
Spearow nodded, using its short wings to give it a lift into the air before it loosed the tri-coloured swirl at the Larvitar.

"Larvitar, dodge it and use Sand Storm!" Larvitar jumped to the side just barley avoiding the beam and planted it's feet as a wicked stream of sand began to swirl around the area, whiping around a violent wind that made the air unstable.

The whole event had gone better than Mitsu had expected. Ebony turned his head, looking at the Absol. "Looks like Hiro, Shocker, and Seto had things handled," Mitsu commented. What are we going to do now? Maybe I'll take Karri's advice and go to the next gym. It doesn't look like Mike's going to be done anytime soon... Jumping off of Mitsu's shoulder Ebony stood on the ground next to her, making funny faces at the new Pokemon, one that he did not know.

After some travelling time, Nina looked down at Krystal. "Everything okay?" she asked her Pokemon. "We've been flying for awhile... How's about if I let you take a break?" When Krystal replied with a nod, Nina told her Pokemon to descend upon the water. When they were hovering about a foot above the water's surface, Nina released Aphrodite and climbed onto her back, recalling Krystal back into her Pokeball a moment later.
"Miss Aphrodite," Nina said, wearing a bit of a grin on her face, "Onward! To Johto's Violet City we go!"
Aphrodite returned the grin, and playfully shot some water in her trainer's face (receiving a "Hey!" from Nina a moment later), before riding the waves toward the continent. It was off in the distance, and Aphrodite could barely see it.

Z ran out of the pokemon center enthusiastically. Lyn followed a few feet behind him yawning occasionaly. "Lets head to the market first so we can say goodbye to mom and Dad." Z said as he began running to the crowded Slateport market. "Fine." Lyn said picking up a little more speed so se could keep up with Z. When they reached the market the searched for their parents. Lyn and Z found them in front of a stand that sold pokeblocks. "Hey Mom! Hey Dad! We just wanted to come back to say good bye to you two before we left." Z said giving his dad a big hug. "Yep. We are living for vermillion right after this." Lyn said hugging her mom lazily. After a little bit of hugging they each switched parents to hug. "Bye sweeties. Be safe and make sure you not to do anything you wouldn't do back home." Their mom said smiling bitter sweetly. "Yes mom." Z and Lyn said feeling slightly guilty for leaving teir mom to go to Kanto. "Check in everyonce in a while and visit if you are ever near bye." Jin said with a more joyful smile. "Okay dad." Z and Lyn said hugging their parents once more before running away towards the ferry.

Ky looked on in awe as he saw a full-grown Pidgeotto fly towards Falkner, a belt of Pokeballs wrapped around it. Ky was always amazed at the size and grace of Falkner's Pokemon, and how he always took such great care of them, in and out of battle. Ky looked again at Little Guy and thought, "I'm sure that I can make you just as strong. That'll be my first goal." When Ky's eyes returned to the arena, he saw a Pokeball's burst of light, forming into a Spearow. "One of his newer Pokemon, I see," Ky muttered. "If I were that person, I'd send out the Larvitar. It'll stand a better chance against a Bird Pokemon.
To Ky's surprise though, the trainer's Spinarak jumped out. "Hm, he must be pretty confident to do that," Ky said, again returning to the railing, watching and figuring what this trainer's strategy might be.
The Spearow quickly dived at the Spinarak, beak pointed threateningly. As a counter, the Spinarak blasted a string of sticky silk, entangling the Spearow on the way down and stopping it just short of where the Spinarak stood. "Wow, that Spinarak must've trained hard to have captured something moving that fast!" Ky exclaimed, impressed.
Suddenly, a bright, colorful ray shot out of the Spearow's mouth, striking the Spinarak at an extremely short range, almost painful to watch. Even Little Guy cringed. When the light faded away, the Spinirak appeared near the edge of the field, burned badly but standing firm. Ky looked on, surprised by the attack but also by the Spinirak's endurance. "That was too perfect. Such a powerful move," Ky sighed.
The Spinirak returned with a volley of poisonous needles, all of them striking the prone Spearow. After the volley though, the stringy binds instantly broke apart as the Spearow spread its wings and soared into the air. Its speed drastically increased in the air to the point where it was hard to see. Again, the Spearow came down at the Spinirak, looking to use its aquired velocity for a devastating attack. It appeared that the Spinirak was ready with some kind of counter, standing on its front legs, but the connection didn't seem to be dampened in the slightest. The impact made the Spinirak fly backwards, landing near its trainer, obviously knocked out cold. Ky sighed, thinking about how hard it must be to be a trainer and how he would have to suffer, knowing that his Pokemon would be taking hits just like what he saw. He looked at Little Guy and wondered whether he was thinking about facing such attacks. Ky gathered nothing from him though, finding the same expressionless stare, directed at the match in front of them. Ky sighed again and returned to the match himself.
This time, the trainer's Larvitar jumped out, a very determined look on its face, mimicking that of the trainer's. Falkner's Spearow, having returned to him for some rest, again flew into the air towards the Larvitar, eyes fixed. The Larvitar looked back at it, seeming to be reading for its next move. Spearow then unleashed the same bright ray as before, its path heading quickly towards the Larvitar. Amazingly, the Larvitar dodged it unscathed. Suddenly, the air began to look darker beyond the protective glass of the bleachers, filling with rapidly swirling minerals and making it almost impossible to view. Ky was disappointed that the Sand Storm was keeping him from seeing the battle, but inside he could imagine that things were going to get much tougher for Falkner, whose Spearow was now trapped in the very winds that guided its attacks.

After about a minute of running, Lyn was actually just jogging, they reached the dock. They each bought a ticket and waited for the boat to vermillion to arrive. "We need to start planning the trip now so that we can get to the contest on time." Z said looking at his watch and seeing that the ferry was scheduled to get here in a few minutes. "Sure." Lyn said leaning her head back on the bench they were sittin on and looking up at the ceiling. "Okay we will land in Vermillion where we can rest a little bit then we need to make a stop in Saffron so that we can get our contest passes and then it is just little bit north until cerulean." Z said recalling the path they were going to travel in his mind. "Any questions?" Z asked turning his head to look at Lyn. He saw that she had fallen asleep. "Trying to talk to her is useless." Z said as he shook his head in annoyance. Z heard two loud honks and saw that the ferry had come. Z shook his sister to wake her up.
