Are we talking about the same warboss here?
I belive you're looking at the Nob character, Zagstruk, he's not a warboss, I was talking about the starter-set warboss.

I don't like how all those characters have cloths and robes dangling between their legs, GW is getting lax on the creative stuff. gonk

What? You'd rather see a flat boring ork crotch? domokun
Plated cloths wouldn't be bad though... or studded leather ones, like in 1st edition.

Maybe some chains, but when you see a lot of the same it becomes boring gonk A bit like how the Cadian sprues some with a badass screaming head for sergeants, but everybody uses it and no its no longer badass.
Maybe once Zaggy is out I'll get once, hack it apart and try making my own Killboy from the Deff Skwadron comics for fun.

Gotta love ol Killboy~
I've been thinking of making some models with those characters as well (and their warboss), but Killboy have always been a fav of mine.
I need 2-3 Fighta boomers as well... D:
Anyways, I'm thinking of a Datasheet of "Squig Payload" from the comic for apocalypse, and adding a Nob (Killboy of course) to the "deepstrike" would be a fun part for those fun games.
Squigs raining from the sky, the squig unit takes like... a random amount of hits for striking down from a plane, and you can use the survivors for the rest of the game, using the BIG apocalyptic blast template as the deepstrike area, hitting a unit counting as a charge.
o 3o;;;

You sir, are a man to my heart heart
Good ol Killboy would probably need a dead 'ard save though, as he's more bionik than ork.
You'll also need a 'Gantbuster bomb when you run the alley.
I think I'm going to try and get a Deff Skwadron for Aeronautica Imperialis, maybe make a rule where you have to try and shoot down Raznuts first before going after the enemy pirate

Myesh~
Soon I'm going to be a proud owner of 8 Flash Gitz, even though they might be a bit of a gambling choice, they're one of the most awesome units in the game, fluffwise (and sometimes in game).
Pirate Freebooter Flash Gitz.
Anyone (I don't know how many other Ork players there's out there) tried them out yet?

Only field them if da Kaptin is in the squad, otherwise it's just not worth it. Perfect opportunity for you to convert an ork with a golden coat wink

They do fine without the kaptin, he's just there for the LD/Bosspole, I could get a big mek doing that AND giving them a 5+ cover save instead, Badrukk is too expensive for my tastes. o;
And I'm not fond of converting him either, it'd crave TONS of greenstuff skills since I don't want him to look static or alike any boy in the WAAAGH! at all, he's supposed to be proppa an' rich.

Da kaptin needs to be made proppa, and I'm so not trying anything that includes scratchbuilding in greenstuff, that guy MUST be built from scratch using NO parts from ANY kit, he's the orkiest freeboota around. >_o
You'd need to order a badass comissioner for that.

This is the clearest picture so far taken of the new Warboss from the starter box. Thanks Agatheron from The-WAAAGH! For a plastic he gots quite some details, notice the saliva under his tongue, the muscles, and his powerklaw, it's not even a glove, it's cyberneticly attatched to him, now THAT'S proppa, and comming from a starter set this is awesome, and he's huge, just look at him, he's almost covering up a whole 40mm base for Mork's sake! I see some oportunities with him as well, adding a hairsquig (the tail from a plastic boy maybe?) and he'd work as a bad moon, and twisting his head a bit, I wouldn't stand pointing to my left during battle... Unless I'm shouting out orders, which he might be doing? I don't know... Anyways, enjoy~
