Yes, Toonami has really disappointed me on their dubbing and massive editing. I think they even have a list of no-no words that they have to cut out of the real version, i.e. kill, die, and anything with a possible innuendo ring to it.

Actually, I should be blaming Funamation (or however you spell it) for the crappy dub work they do on some shows.

Hooray! I am clothed again! biggrin

Yes, I'm sure we're all thankful for that. biggrin

Funimation (if I spelled it wrong...it deserves it xd ) has indeed done some horrible work with dubbing...Like with the first anime I ever watched. (DBZ...no, I'm not proud of the fact that it is my first sweatdrop redface )

And you're right about Toonami having to cut out a lot of "presumably(sp?) harmful material" for children. I have a friend who watches YuGiOh (don't ask) and one time I was in his room and he pointed out one scene in the show where some men run into one of the character's rooms, with "pointed fingers" (you can clearly tell they were holding guns) because they "had to" remove the guns. (rather stupid, if you ask me)

Then, with the game itself, he showed me the cards that made up the Destiny Board for the Japanese version and the American version. The Japanese version spells D E A T H and the American...F I N A L. (again...stupid xp )

my first Animation is Dooly the Dinosaur (korean, 1980's), and Japanimation is Dr. Slump, one of the CLAMP's oldest work. although they don't make anime anymore, manga still comes out. And it ROCKS!!!
Arari-chan is best CLAMP made character, along with Chii and Sakura.
btw, how many of ya knew that that's also work of the same guy who made Dragon Ball series?

my first manga was Lineage, which the same-named Korean-game's based on, and Japanimanga i readed first is Crayon Shin-chan.

I've heard a lot of good things about FMA...and I started collecting the manga to One Piece. Heh heh...I love the way Oda draws facial expressions! Luffy reminds me of a friend of mine...almost a little to much...

No problem. I've only seen ads and a review in NewType for it...haven't seen it in stores yet. (I would download more anime...if my college internet service would let me crying )
