Amaya held on to the edgs of the cliffside as best she could. How long had she been out here and she hadn't even been able to advance anywhere? The very thought was unacceptable. Gritting her teeth, she looked for a gap in the timing of the falling rocks and reached out a hand to the next secure. looking ledge to pull herself up.

The first ledge seemed to have been a wee bit of a doorway for a few more ledges and a few seconds of peace. But as quickly as they had stopped falling straight at her, the debree had returned. Sticking her tongue out the corner of her lips, Amaya moved to avoid what rocks she could. The weight on her back hung heavily and her legs began to feel the efects of all that it had to support.

A collision with a few sharp rocks, caused her to slow her progress. But from the looks of things, atleast she had managed to get away from the water. Don't want to jinx myself though, she thought with a grimace. She then took in a few quickls breaths before reaching to place herself on the next ledge up, keeping her eyes open and her snese up as best she could. Between the sweat and the dust, her vision wasn't exactly dependable.

It was strange how one's body could actually realize a situation was futile and simply adapt to it. That's very similar to what the smaller rocks that pelted Amaya felt like. Smaller compared to the large ones that were hard enough to knock her clean off the cliff that was. Though the little ones hurt less, they still did their damage. But Amaya could care less so long as she was able to keep moving and avoid the nasty ones. So putting in the effort to remain focused, she continued up.

Haruko looked over to Amaya. This had to be tough on the girl. She was having the hardest tiem of it specially with those huge weights on her back. She felt kinda bad for Amaya but, this was fate, she was destined to do this apparently. So Haruko continued her pummling spree.

There was an old rule of thumb about being in high places. Something about not looking down? But if it was likely that you were going to possibly plummet that distance at any moment, it was probably more of a good thing to realize just how far down really was. Most of Amaya's attention went stright to her feet when she looked down though. A rock had hit her foot, nearly causing her to lose her placement, so she had to double check where she was placing it now to make sure she could rely on putting her weight on it. Everything seemed to check out though, so she put her trust in the crevice her foot was now wedged in and reached up towards the next grippable surface.

((Hmmmm, soooo do I get to fall only 12 instead of 22? I know if I roll 1 for str I fall 2x the weights which would be 22, buuuuut I rolled a 20 for dodge. That has to count for something!))

Zanza heard the word blood numoruse times when they talked about activating her bloodline. " Sorry to put you threw this Ame, and i'm sure it would be much more effecnt for one of us to wound ourself than you waste energy fighting. " With that, Zanza took out his kunia and struck himself in the left for-arm. not very deep, but there was enough blood leaking from the wound to run down his arm. Zanza had never been particularly uncomfortable with pain, and He;d had alot worse, so this was nothing. " I'm sorry " he said to Ame once more as the began to store up chakra to make his run. He knew for a fact that if she was gonna become strong enough to make people fear for their lives, her power level would increase so dramaticly that their sensei would be baffled, and if she attacked hauka, he wouldn't stand a chance. " Hauka, if she turns at you then I would sugest you run as fast as you can and not try and fight her. Use your genjutsu if you get a chance but if she's after you, just get away from her. Me and sensei will take her down if she's after you. " And with that, Zanza held up his wounded arm, blood dripping from his finger tips, right in front of Ame.

Hirako seemed to be reading his book but his ears were focused on the conversation in front of him. He had to make sure the kids weren't doing anything that could endanger their lives beyond what Hirako could handle.
Hmm. I heard about Ame's bloodline but I haven't seen it in action. It's a good idea they have, but it's also putting them in a dangerous situation. That's not very shinobi like.
Hirako then heard the blood spill from Zanza. He got ready to defend the others if the need arose. Hmmm.

Ame's whole body shuddered... she was tensing herself to prepare for what will happen. "I.... wont attack... him... unless... he spills... blood... " The color drained from her skin and her eyes grew dark. The transformation wasn't really painful... she'd just always associated it with pain... Crouching down, she held her head in her hands... she used her will to fight what she could, but... the blood... it was driving her crazy. She couldn't let go fully.... but she was struggling to keep what control she had left. "Damn it Zanza... did you have to stab yourself? You could have just pricked a finger or... something!" She couldn't hold it in any longer. She jumped at him and threw as much force as she could into a couple of punches.

As Izumi continued climbing a rock struck him square on the shoulder but Izumi's momentum carried him onward despite this. Now he was over the halfway mark and this only spurred him onward, determined to complete his goal.

Her fist punch barely missed. Another centimeter and she would have struck... hard... she tried to swing a second at him, but it wasn't any good. they both missed. But there was still blood, and that was what drove her... There was no stopping now... unless she got the snot beaten out of her... or if she was mentally tortured...

Ame kept going though she felt the presence of a genjutsu fall upon her. Feeling close to darkness opn the worst day of her life... she quickly shook it off and went on at Zanza again.
