How is it generalizing persecution? I don't believe that the experiences of blacks before 1960 is too different from that of gays today. But, yes, that was horrible grammar. I'm beating myself up for that as we speak.

Being as fair as I can possibly be, I would say it's a moral failure to prioritize. Most, if not all, gay Republicans are Republican because of economic issues. Still, I don't believe it is conscionable to support certain economic principles if that support entails the violation of a entire constituency's civil and personal rights. The fact that they are a part of that constituency, whether they like to admit it or not, makes them not only unethical, but traitorous.

This is the only thing I'll respond to. I did not know, because any discussions of Q's "issues", were handled well before I ever came to this guild. And I didn't take the time to read every single post ever made in the guild. If I did, I'd still be reading. And quite frankly, I don't have that kind of time. So trying to say I knew about your issues, and trying to make it sound like I did it intentionally to upset you, is a ludicrous accusation. If slander/libel were a violation of the rules, I'd demand your removal from Gaia this instant. However, it is not, and all I can do, is express my outrage at your comment.

Furthermore Q, I don't know what your problem with me is, but since the day I joined this guild, you have done nothing but try to make me feel uncomfortable, unappreciated, and unwelcome. I have tried to deal with you in as civil a manner as possible, but to no avail. At this point, I'm through wasting civility on you. And you have yourself to thank, for mocking me after I apologized to you the last time for arguing with you. And, I am not surprised to see Vague state that both of us are refusing to apologize to each other for this incident. I knew you would refuse, because you yourself said you would never apologize for being in the wrong, even if you knew you were. And, had you abused your mod powers with me, I'd've made sure you wouldn't be on Gaia anymore. Make anymore threats like that to me, though, and that's exactly what my next action will be.

However, I do agree that it's best if you leave the guild for awhile, as I will be doing the same.

To the Rest of the Guild: I apologize to the rest of you, for having to witness this spectacle, and for trying to get me to be the "better man" in this case, but sometimes, I just can't allow myself to suffer continual ridicule from the likes of Q, for my compassion and good intentions. If I did allow it, I'd stop being compassionate and caring, and that's definitely not what you all want to happen to me. You've seen how I can be when upset. It's about 10 times worse when I'm actually trying to be malicious, which is extremely rare, and only on those occassions where people cross the line. (Luckily things haven't come to that, and hopefully they won't). With that said, I'll see you all again soon. *waves*

Q: If I were in the thread when you explained it, I would've remembered reading it. So, stop lying to cover your own a**. And, I stopped arguing with you last night. All I'm trying to do now, is keep the facts straight, and keep you from trying to get me kicked out of the guild, by your attempts to make it look like I've done nothing but intentionally attack you from the get go.

And, whether you like to admit it or not, you have tried to make me feel unwelcome, by making fun of me, mocking me, and pretty much trying to put me down, for who I am and how I was raised. So, deny it all you want, but that's the truth. I'd say someone like you should be ashamed of the way you treat others, but that would just wasting my breath, since you don't see yourself as capable of any wrong doing. As far as you're concerned, you're always right. And if you don't like my continued attempts at keeping your information straight, then bloody well leave already.

Edit: Okay, I just wanted to get that in there before this continued. I think the idea of both of you taking a break, and calming down, is a good idea. I don't want to ban anyone. I'm sure Vague doesn't, either.
