~Orion Michael De La Cruz~

"Sure. A pizza sounds good." Orion glanced over at Grace. "I changed the sheets on the bed." He rubbed a hand over her thigh lightly.
"Grace....I hate to ask, but did you talk to Cadie about this Ben situation at all? Did she say anything at all? Grace, you can't talk to anyone about anything that happened. Everyone thinks she is a traitor. You say nothing against it." He leaned forward and set his beer down on the table. He turned his gaze to Grace.
"I don't want to put you in the middle. I am just trying to figure a few things out..." Orion was really at a lost as to what to do about his sister. How could he help her out of this mess?

Grace nodded, rubbing her hands along her thighs. She was just about ready to get up from the couch when Orion asked her about Cadence and Ben. Sure, she had talked briefly to Cadie about the guy, but she wasn't really sure what kind of information he was looking for. She sighed and bit down on her bottom lip. She couldn't believe that everyone thought she was a traitor. Especially after everything she had been through because of her affiliation with the club. "Well, I asked her about him. The most information she gave me was that she made a deal with him. He owns her. She said she did what she had to in order to get herself into the jail, because she wanted to make sure that I was alright. She also said his men took care of Annalise." Grace knit her eyebrows together, and shifted in her seat slightly. She figured that he wanted to know about what had happened with Ben, too. After all, Orion was very surprised to hear that he was the one that had picked her up from the hospital. "When he picked me up from the jail today, he told me that he had me to thank for having Cadence. Because of what I did, it opened the door for him to slip in and snatch her up. Then he went on to tell me that she is with them now, and that if you try anything they will go to war with you. He said if she so much as mentions Jasper he will green light her." Her eyes moved to Jasper, giving him an apologetic look, before looking down at her hands. "He followed up the threat of war by congratulating me on Thomas. Said he was a good looking kid." She looked at Orion now, frowning slightly and shook her head. "He has seen our son before." Not only that, she had spit in his face, too. But she wasn't going to tell him that. He was already worried about everything else.

Lyn was glad the three men ate. They all needed it after everything. It was the best thing she could do to thank them after all. Make them whatever food they wanted and ensured they stayed well feed. She was grateful that Lucky and Nate were unharmed, and that they took such care to watch Dereck's back. Although she knew they felt it was their duty to do so. It really showed how much they cared, and put their worth high in her eyes. As soon as Dereck left the room to retire to the bedroom, Maralyn set about cleaning up all the dishes as well as the kitchen itself. The whirlwind that had happened since Dereck came home, had left alot to be said. She didn't want it looking that way if anyone else came by. So after the dishes, Lyn repacked and counted what was in both the emergency bags, setting the larger one by the door to go back out to the car. Then she went about getting rid of the bloodied towels and used gauze, and just cleaning up the table all together.

When Lyn went out to put the bag back in the car, she made sure to right Dereck's bike on the driveway. With a frown she grabbed a dirty towel from her car, and used it to wipe off any blood from his ride back home. His comment about always coming home, even if in multiple pieces, didn't sit well with her at all. With a sigh she figured it was the best it would be for now, and she moved back inside.

The red-haired woman let the two dogs out and brought them back in before she sat back on the couch. Dereck's meds should be here within another hour or so. And he just needed to sleep right now, so she would let him. Lyn herself didn't have anything else to do but mull everything over. Dylan was gone finally. Finally just completely gone. He wasn't ever coming back. It was a certain freedom given, and a weight lifted. And yet... why did she feel like she had just burdened that all onto Dereck? Like she was just going to burden him some more with the news of her being pregnant.

Lyn dug the ultrasound photo out of her purse, her blue eyes gazing over it. She was glad, as of now, it didn't seem Dereck had really heard anything Dylan had said that morning when he broke in. That wasn't how she wanted him to find out he was going to have kids. Yet it still scared her that she didn't know how he was going to respond to the news at all. Lucky had seemed to take it well, thought Dereck should know. But it wasn't Lucky's kids, but Lyn did agree that Dereck needed to know. Not knowing who else to ask, Lyn decided to send a text to Grace. Even if the woman was still in jail, surely she'd be given her phone when she got out. Grace was the only female around here that Lyn knew had gone through being pregnant with all this stuff going on. Well at least the only one that was going to talk to her that is. Plus maybe Grace could shed some light on how her brother would react. Although it did feel kinda like going behind his back if she told Grace first. So she rested on something simple; a feeler to see if Grace would respond, and then she could at least know when she got out of prison and was safe.

To: Grace From: Lyn
'Grace, how are you?'

Orion looked angry. "I feel like he was threatening you in hopes of me going after him. Which....is definitely going to happen. You don't threaten my family and live to brag about it." He sat back.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there Grace." He grew silent.
"Grace, I know you don't want to go anywhere...I think maybe you should take Thomas and go away a couple of days. Just until I figure out what the next move is. Oh, we're getting an alarm system here as well." He snatched his beer up again.
"His MC....they are animals. Vicious. Those killings a few years back. Body parts popping up all over. The mass grave they dug up....all that MC."

Grace wasn't sure what to think. She certainly did not want to leave again after just having come home. Especially to somewhere that isn't well equipped for a newborn like her own home is. She met his gaze and shook her head slowly. "You don't need to be sorry, Rion. I also am not going to go anywhere. I just brought Thomas home, all of my stuff that I need for him is here." She turned to her phone as it went off, and upon reading the text she figured out it was Lyn. Grace still wasn't sure how Orion felt about the Reapers, and now was not really the time to ask, either.

Hey Lyn.
I'm ok. Finally home.
Tell D that I say hi, and let him know I'm home, and I'm alright.

Grace sent the message and went online, placing an order for some pizza and wings. The more she thought about it, the hungrier she got. Especially after having to put up with the damn prison food. Pizza sounded like heaven. "I am going to be alright. I can ask Nate to come and stay with me a while..." She didn't know if any of the angels would want to stay here with her, besides, the only ones she was really close to were Jasper and Kill, the others she never really had the chance to get to know.

Jasper Fox

Jasper sat listening as the couple talked back and forth. About first Ben, then were Grace was going to stay. He knew Orion was trying to figure out the Ben problem. He knew something had to be done, for Grace and Thomas. Something to say that his crew couldn't mess with their family. He looked to Orion,"the club will be behind you for any retaliation you want for the threat to Grace. He needs to know he can't mess with her."Now the question was how to do that without Cadence there. To do it and not have it blow back on her."Maybe, if we can get them all at the club or somewhere. Away enough that maybe Lena can get Cadie out and into hiding somewhere."Jasper continued just honestly thinking out loud.

Orion mentioned for Grace to leave with Thomas. Then she wouldn't be in danger. When she mentioned that she didn't want to, Jasper couldn't blame her. But then she mentioned Nate. Jasper winced slightly. That might not be the best idea. He knew how much Orion had been hating the Reapers recently. So instead he offered."I could always stay here with her, Orion. Might save some trouble at the club if I'm not there hearing all they say about Cadie. Then he thought a moment and with a shake of his head, "Or she could stay at my place with me. I'll help bring what you need, but I had been setting up that extra room for a baby...a time ago. The crib just has to be moved up from the back storage room."

Maralyn jumped when her phone went off after a few minutes after sending the text to Grace. She hadn't expected it to go off so quickly. Reading the message, a smile came to her face and a sigh of relief left her lips.
To: Grace From: Lyn
'I'm so glad to hear you are out so quickly. Dereck will be relieved as well! How's your little boy? If you can't talk, I understand, but sometime do you want to hang out?'
Lyn knew things hadn't left on the greatest terms between Grace and her brother. But obviously the two still cared for each other. The blonde could be made at the male, and Lyn wouldn't tell her that he had been in some crap when he yelled at her because it didn't excuse it, nor was it her's to tell. Hopefully the two would find some time to patch things up. It would suck for cousins to not see each other. Yet there was the Orion and Dereck hate feud. Maybe Grace knew where that stemmed. It had to be more than just opposing MC's. But right now, Grace was the only female around that Lyn felt comfortable talking to about anything. The only 'girl friend' she had in the area since everything had blown up. Yet she would understand if the woman wanted nothing to do with her either. Maybe she'd bounce some things off of Lucky, or Jennifer at work. She'd have to tell them all soon enough anyway.

"Actually....Jasper....that really does work. You stay here with Grace. She is home, the baby can start settling in here. I don't have to worry about you going off. I will have a hard enough time keeping my own temper in check." Orion looked at Grace.
"Jasper, and you could really help each other out right now. It will be a load off my mind as well." He stood up, kissed Grace's forehead.
"Time to break the seal." He announced and disappeared for a few minutes. When he returned he looked a bit annoyed.
"Killian and Black already got into it..." He sighed and sat down.
"I will figure this all out. Then we will all be able to get back to our normal lives." He sipped his beer, and hopped back up when he heard the door. He was glad the food had arrived. He was hungry now.

Killian ate his food, and ordered more food to go. He was going to take a bit of a trip. He would probably be gone a few days. After he paid his check he was on his way out when he spotted the Agent with a child.
"Hope your not going to interrogate the child Agent." Killian said sarcastically.
"Oh, and just so you don't think I am on the run. I will be going out of town for a few days." He saluted and took his leave.

Grace looked at Jasper, surprised that he would even want to be in a house with a newborn. It was shocking, that's for sure. But, she was thankful. She would need the company if Orion wasn't going to be around much. "Thanks Jasp...it means a lot." She had already expressed her concerns and fears to the man about being lonely. The last thing she wanted was to be without her husband, but as long as she had someone around it would make things a little better. She watched Orion move around and leave to the bathroom, knitting her eyebrows together. She gave Jasper a frown and stood from the couch, sighing. "I'm going to go check on Thomas.." She grabbed her cell phone and moved to the back bedroom, taking Thomas into her arms and moving to the rocking chair, looking at her phone again.

TO: Lyn
FROM:Grace
I don't know. Orion doesn't want me near any of you guys.
I just got back home, and the last thing I want to
do is to make him angry with me.
I hope you understand.

Maybe when all this blows over we can have him talk with Dereck.

She stayed in the back for a few moments, then moved into the kitchen, holding Thomas in her arms. She was way too hungry to stay in the back. Plus, the pizza smelled wonderful. When she moved to the kitchen, she switched to hold Thomas in one arm and grabbed herself a plate.

Her eyes narrowed as she turned and looked to Killian that had just spoken, rather rudely at first. "And why Killian, would I interrogate my own child? "Perhaps not what she should have said. Di knew she shouldn't have said anything. Just let the man be on his way, but how little he thought of her made her blood boil. She wasn't the monster here or trying to be. Sure they didn't like that she was assigned to look into the club, but yet she was trying to be as fair as she could to the group. Trying to look into every other lead.

As he mentioned that he was leaving town, she shook her head.
"Got business to attend? Just make sure you aren't gone long. Not that I need to know since I'm off-duty right now." And well that was all she felt she needed to say for the moment. He was being a d**k, so she didn't need to tell him to be careful or ask why he was going out of town. Yes she was an FBI agent. Yes she was in a current investigation, but that didn't mean she didn't get any free time, family time, or her time. Now was family time. That she had always promised she would give her girl. Time that was just her's, and to keep her from harm anyway possible. With a sigh she turned back to the girl who had wide eyes a she munched on the grilled cheese in front of her. Perhaps Di wouldn't share any pictures if they were all going to pop up all over and intrude on her space.

~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~

Lucky for Cadence Benjamin went off to work. He had moved her out of his house, and into his Condo. There were no weapons there, and he could keep track of her better there. Mainly Ben was thrilled she would be unable to make an attempt on his life again.

Cadence was showering in the Condo. Scrubbing herself as best she could with one arm now. She dressed in Ben's oversized robe. She entered the living room and curled up in one of the overstuffed armchairs. The woman who was babysitting eyed her.
"Don't see why he is so interested in you....you're not even that cute, and a traitor." Cadie glared at the woman. She remained silent.
"You are stuck up." The woman tacked on and Cadence got up and went into the kitchen. She made herself some peppermint tea and toast.

The woman followed her in. Still she kept picking on Cadence, and she really did her best to ignore the woman. Finally Cadence had enough, and she used her cast as a weapon. She smashed the woman in the face. The woman took off with a clearly broken nose.

Cadence took advantage of the opportunity and used the girls forgotten phone to call her Mother. She had her Mother rush over with clothing for her. She wanted to tell her as much as she could before it was too late. She figured she didn't have long before Ben found out what had happened.

Lena had to rush over, and though she did not want to she brought Tyson. Cadence unlocked the door after checking that it was in fact her Mother. She put the tv on in the living room. Lena and Cadence went into the kitchen to talk in private. Cadie told her Mother everything she could about the situation. Lena informed Cadie about what she little she knew was going on with the Angels.

Ben barged into the Condo. He knew Cadence had no way of escaping. She didn't have access to a car, money, or even clothing that fit her right now. Ben stared at Tyson, Cadence stepped into the living room.
"Hi honey..." Cadie said with a forced smile. She did not want things to get ugly in front of her little brother.
"You have company...." He stated and stared at her brother, and then noticed her Mother who stepped out of the kitchen. Her arms crossed over her chest.
"I had Mom come by and bring me some of my things that I left at her house." Ben nodded his head.
"Who is the little guy?"
"My brother Tyson." He nodded his head. Ben stepped passed Cadie and stopped at Lena.
"So Mom, staying for dinner?" He asked and Lena suppressed the urge to shudder. The man was evil, everything about him was evil. Lena agreed, only as a way to stay close to Cadie. She sat down beside Tyson, and sent Archie a quick text. She felt bad bailing on Archie, but she had to be there for Cadence.

Ben followed Cadence to the room. He kept his anger with her quiet, so their guests did not overhear anything. For the moment he only threatened her and shook her a bit. When the pair emerged Ben was back to his charming self.

Cadence focused on preparing dinner. Her Mother help, Ben hung about close. Not wanting to leave the pair out of sight. Dinner was a quiet affair and Lena was very happy to leave. Ben gave her the creeps. She hated leaving her daughter there, but for the moment there was nothing she could do.

~Candie~

To: Grace From: Lyn
'Totally understand. Glad you're out. Stay safe.'

Lyn sent the reply back with a sad smile. So it wouldn't be Grace she could talk to. Leaving the couch for a moment, she went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and her computer. No time like the present to find a doctor. The hospital staff had told her she should get in to see on soon and then continue regular visits. As was normal for someone expecting, Lyn figured. It was odd enough just going to those visits, better have some rapport with the person before they ripped a baby from you.

And so back on the couch, she researched those that were in the area. In about 45 minutes she had found a woman that took her insurance, worked in Greensville and Shadow Creek, and had an opening in a couple days. So that was all done and figured out. Maralyn closed the computer, placing the ultrasound picture between the window and keyboard, and set it on the floor under the coffee table. Then she sat there. Once again contemplating it all, until she saw a truck pull up outside by the drive and a man come out with a box. Quickly she got up to answer the door before the man could knock and have the dog's barking which would probably wake Dereck.

Signing for it, she moved back into the kitchen, opening the package and setting the contents on the table, making sure it was as she ordered as she wrote a small note of instructions. 'Take 1 mox pill once a day.' Having gotten the 500mg, Lyn figured that should be enough. Moving on to the pain meds, she thought about how she wanted to word that one. She had gotten them so he wasn't in pain, and yet she was cautious for she didn't want him free of one drug and moving on to another. Even if she doubted that was something he would do. so she settled on, ' Take 1-1 1/2 every four to six hours as needed for pain.'

Satisfied, Lyn left the bottles and note on the table. She moved through the house to the bedroom. After taking a quick shower, Lyn laid down next to Dereck in bed. Not sure that she would sleep, and not wanting to disturb him. But still wanting to be near.

Killian was surprised to learn Diana had a child. She was an attractive woman, so it wasn't hard to believe. It was just surprising since she was in a very demanding and dangerous career. He didn't understand why a career woman like her would want children. It had to make the job harder.

What did he know about family though? He didn't have children, he had never even thought about wanting any. His life was hectic, and dangerous. Definitely not a child friendly lifestyle.

He hopped on his bike, and revved it up a bit. Then he was off, driving away. Driving right out of town. He needed to be away. Needed to do a bit of digging. He would figure out what to do about Cadie. Even if that meant abducting her, and relocating her himself.

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine

Lena's life had been quiet the last week. Ben was allowing the relationship between Lena and Cadence. She hated the fact that the man believed he had the authority to 'allow' anything when it came to her daughter. Lena played nice only because she wanted to see her daughter.

So far she had added Cadence to one of her credit cards, and left her a card. Cadie had hid the car, and phone her Mother had brought her. It was the only way she could communicate with anyone. Ben pretty much had Cadie his prisoner.

She had taken Cadie to her doctor's appointments for the day, and they had even had lunch. Overall it had been a good day. An almost normal day. Now Lena was on her way to meet Archie. Her schedule had not allowed much in way of free time recently, so this was really the first time she had gotten to see Archie after their little sleepover.

Lena stepped into the Pub. It was a nice place. Not one she had been to before, but she had heard good things about the food and service. She slipped into a seat, and ordered a soda. She didn't see Archie there just yet, but she was a bit early.
