It appeared that he had made an appearance just in time for the last dance. He smiled, crooked, as Thackery pushed through any sort of crowd to come see him.
"Much delayed, I'm afraid," he said, lifting Thackery up by his hips, kissing him square on the mouth as soon as they were level. His boilfriend would just need to deal with the fact that oil was on his nice prom clothes. He leaned to murmur into Thackery's ear a single word, delivered as flatly as possible: "Roar."
He rested a hand on the other boil's back, spread between his shoulder blades, thumb stroking at the fabric of his jacket ever so lightly. Possessive. He gazed upon the others from his vantage point-- for they were not short, but he was a behemoth in size and stature. "I hope it won't be too rude to pull you away; I thought we might...Dance?"
He meant to say it in a more forceful fashion, but Thackery had always been his weak point.

"Yes... I..." He took in a determined breath, quickly and quietly sighing it out of his nose soon after. "My mother dances a lot, though it's more ceremonial and she never taught me." He had followed along with some of the steps when he was younger and had even joined in during Roch's little pre-prom flash mob practice session, but no, Brenley had never danced alone with a ghoul.
He moved a step closer to Piper, passing her hand to his opposite and tentatively reaching for her waist. His lips settled into a concentrated line that didn't immediately seem as friendly as his forced smiles, but the amusement in his voice made up for it. "I might step on you after all, and not because you're short. At least if I do, we'll both know you asked for it." He took one last look at his feet and then began to dance in earnest. It wasn't a bad attempt, though a fully grown narwhal could have fit in the space between them.

Hel just gave Mac a look. A look that said you let first years get the better of you all the time. “I would take your side and back you up over a first year. Just saying.” She informed him, maybe still mad that he didn’t take her side. Maybe just a bit. She also thought about telling Mac no to the last dance just to be a brat but…let’s be real. When could Hel ever say no to him? The answer was never. Instead she huffed, and instead of taking his hand, she laced her fingers behind his neck, and just leaned in close and swayed to the music with him. She was going to get the Lottie off of him. Also, at some point, she rested her head against his chest as they danced…because this song was awful, and no, she was not blushing because of the lyrics to this stupid song. Hel thought the night should have ended with I can’t decide whether you should live or die.

Sophie's hands came down from the position they were in and she pressed her hands against his chest, stepping down from his feet and stopping his movements. Then she looked up at him, frowning a little, lips pursing. "What did I say?" She asked, tone a little frustrated. "Don't talk about yourself like that." She glanced around awkwardly before she stood on her tip toes, eyes locking with his.
"You are wonderful," she whispered before her lips pressed against his softly. Her eyes closed and her hands moved from his chest to wrap around his shoulders, hands clasping behind his neck.

"Oh. Sorry baby." Gabby grinned, leaning down to capture the boils lips in his own. His teeth held on to that lower lip, tugging it out playfully before letting it go. "You know, more than anyone in the world, just how much I deeply, sickeningly love you. It consumes me. It's consuming me right now." He pulled on the lip again. Consuming seemed a theme to the boil. "So be nice, or else prom ends before this song does." His hands slid down and smacked the poor horse's rear. "And we both know I'm not bluffing."

He loved pulling those sounds from the ghoul, they always tickled him to no end. "Good.." At the blush he only chuckles again and shakes his head thinking that Rosy was really to sensitive to close interaction. Glancing to the tapping finger he lift's a brow, for a moment their dancing stopped. "Now now, lets not blow this out of proportion..." He returned tongue and spun her around before returning her to his chest, "lets just finish our dance."
He couldn't help frowning a little as they resumed dancing and he let his mind wander to what it would be like without Rosy. Surely he had went days without her...hadn't he? Spinar's eyes widened for a short moment before he coughed softly and pulled from the ghoul.
"Leg..cramp..mind if we cut short?" He didn't want to freak out on her again, that much he knew but the more he thought useless thoughts the more another breakdown approached. "Lets grab some punch before they throw it out." Smirking he slowly lets go of Rosy to move a step back.

She had turned to look to the side. Mengyao stopped moving for a moment, lifting his hand from her waist to catch her chin between his thumb and forefinger, turning her face to look at him.
"I stayed for you," he said quietly, and slid his fingers up over her face, tenderly brushing her cheek. "Because it makes you happy. And...because I love you."
Then, in front of all the students and everyone else who happened to be present, and because he no longer cared what they thought, Mengyao leaned down and gently pressed his lips to Lifen's, curling his fingers through hers and sliding his arm back around her waist to lift her to her tiptoes.
When he leaned back he was smiling.
"You're welcome, by the way."--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ren grinned, grabbing LW playfully around the waist and spinning her into his arms, up against his chest. "You're so adorable, I hope you realize" he said, and kissed the tip of her nose before he kissed her on the mouth, smiling against her lips. Ren pulled away and then very dramatically dropped over in a low dip, adopting a mock serious face.
"And one day we will be world famous," he said, in a very melodramatic tone of voice before straightening again, yanking LW with him. "You and I will tour the world and it'll be grand."
He smooched her cheek.
"But of course, Jove will have to come with us."

Receiving the witch back, he laughed happily. " Of course dear! I had a great fun, thank you for coming with me and giving me such a wonderful night." He leaned forward to make another kiss, this time oh her forehead. Can the music never stop and keep looping? This is the best moment. He let the witch spin again, seeing how red her face was. chirigami Don't expect romance from a boil, he's not even a man. Only sudden peck here and there.

A meaningful look was directed up at Soren as his fingers talked ever lower down her back before finally settling a little lower then was polite. It had her smiling, mind already racing forwards to what was sure to come once the music ended and they had made it back to the guardian's home. Hips shifted, rolling out in a most enticing manner as an all to stratified smirk bloomed to life upon liable lips Perhaps nearly starting a fight want the only questionable behavior the mare would be guilty of before Prom was over. She could patient, at least a little while longer. Regarding the tall stallion with a curious look. "Have you been enjoying yourself?" As much as he'd made the point that her pleasure came before his, she couldn't hero but wonder. Certainly a student run event wouldn't have been at the top of the guardian's list of things he was dying to do, but she hoped he was having as good a time as she was.

Huh! Well that was a sweet bit of information she hadn't been expecting. Nor had she thought Brenley had it in mind to bring her into one of those ceremonial dances, which was what looked like was happening--huge space between them or not. Piper meant it when she said she'd take any form of motion and thus, as she tended to do, she went with the flow and matched the sorcerer's motions as best she could.
Which was a little hard given how stiff he was, but hey. Dancing was dancing, even if it was a bit awkward.
"Well if this is what you learned from watching, it's not half bad," Piper commented with an encouraging smile, which . . . hopefully was the correct thing to do here, because Brenley's face was somewhere between thinking lots and a halfway smile. Had she forced him into this?
Whoops~
"Although if we're going that route, I'll warn you that if you do, I'll come and clobber you back," she added with a pout. "There's nothing cool about crushing a lady purposefully, but I'll forgive you if it's on accident. You know what'll help though? Loosening up~"
She tried to demonstrate by wiggling her hips, quite aware Brenley's hand was there and hoping he could, you know, learn from watching again.

Maple wanted to reciprocate the kind words and to thank him for the evening which had been wonderful for her as well. And for being her date, showing her a good time. But she didn't get a word out when he gently planted a kiss upon her forehead.
He wanted to see how red she would get? Very. Very very red, like her dress. At least her eyes weren't wide like saucers and she managed to spin properly and not fall on her face. "Aaa," she stammered. Hopefully she wouldn't dissipate from all this.

Rosy smiles as she nods to him, slipping her hand into his as she pulls him towards the tables to grab some punch "Alright." with a cheeky smirk, she turns away from him before she floats over to the punch bowls. She didn't mind cutting the dance short, cause even she wanted a moment off the heels.
Floating off the ground, she hums along to the song.
Pulling her top hat off, she pulls the side ponytail out then shakes her head of curls. The glitter was sticking to all her curls, and she knew it would be like this for a long, long time. Placing her top hat back on, she glance back at him "Sure you don't wanna just head back to your dorm. We can watch a movie?"
She figured casketball was out of the question, not with his legs cramping up.

The dance came to an abrupt halt, and Bastion's face fell in dismay. He'd upset her, and it hadn't even taken much. He should have known better than to kissing- Bastion's mind shorted out the moment he felt those soft lips pressed against his. Certainly, he hadn't expected it at that moment. She was mad at him! This did not deserve a kiss. Nothing that he did deserved.. my, but it was hard to think at a time like this. The most embarrassing of whimpers escaped the horseman as he pressed back, finally claiming what was being given to him. He pulled away with a wistful sigh, his eyes re-opening after having fluttered closed. And then he had an idea. "I'm terrible." And perhaps he was.

Efflo was more than okay with the kissing, leaning in to press an affectionate kiss back against Gabby’s lips. But when Gabby’s hand landed on his hindquarters with a slap, he pulled back, arm’s length, and glared. “You wouldn’t dare.” He knew a challenge when he saw one. The song was almost finished anyway, and since the tender moment had passed the moment he had his rear smacked in public, in front of a very crowded dance floor, Efflo certainly wasn't opposed to leaving, preferably immediately. After all, domestic violence should always be performed at home.

It only took a moment for him to think before Soren was nodding his head. "Better than expected," he admitted, and from him that was practically high praise considering it was a student event. He looked down at her, mouth quirking up slightly. "The company made a difference."Perhaps he was thinking about the exit, and how long it would take them to get back to his home, but that was only natural, and it was less about escaping at this point and more about moving on toward greener pastures. But he had enjoyed himself enough that if the prom were to go on another hour he would not mind staying.
