 Daren laughed, glad the subject had changed. best to distract Tim rather than let the man be angry at him. "guess you will have your work cut out for you then. we could do a check up with the doctor in the morning and get you to work after lunch, if you want to get started on it? really, it is all up to you. i really don't care." he went back to eating, but slower now that his hunger was abated.

 "You have no idea. I'll probably have to bring the books home to organize them properly. They're going to get late fees on their taxes because they haven't done them. It's a wonder that paychecks even went out, Daren." and groaned, leaning back in his chair before placing a whole strawberry in his mouth and chewing on it. "I'd rather get the doctor over with right now, at least Doctor Madison." he could put off Kogami until, again, she came out and dragged him. "This way when I go in next week I have a clean physical in case they ask for it."

Daren frowned, "not sure Dr. Madison will be working today, since it's sunday. but we can call and ask if you want to do it today. we haven't seen Kogami since the lion insident, so if we wait much longer it will be pushing it. i know you hate it, but it's good for you. you've opened up a bit since you started seeing her. just a bit." he finished and stretched, patting his stomach, "up to you, though. do you want me to call Madison, or better yet, call him yourself, if you want."

 "Oh. I forgot it was Sunday." and slouched in his chair. "I guess I can see Doctor Madison tomorrow. I'd hate to call him on his day off I'm sure he's busy the rest of the week." and finally started to eat a pancake, the delicious disk slowly disappearing into his mouth. "Oh!" He caught the pancake as it fell from his mouth. "I can still make the appointment! You are very smart, Daren. Thank you for the idea." and stood up, walking to his room and coming back with a card, looking for the house phone. "Here we go."

 Daren nodded, "that's what i'm here for." he got up and got the handset of the house phone, handing it over when he saw Tim looking. "here, ya go. don't get too flustered." he winked and head to the living room, turning the television on with the volume down so it wouldn't bother Tim. Madison was in his office, doing the paperwork he never had time for during the week. he technically was supposed to take Sundays and Saturdays off, but he didn't like sitting at home in that empty house so he'd come to his office anyways. hearing the sounds of the people on the other side of his door was comforting, at least.

Timothy checked behind the couch pillows before Daren fetched it for him. "Oh, thank you." And looked at the card, carefully punching in the numbers before turning pink. "Why'd you wink?!" but he was gone, watching television and Tim sighing, waiting for it to be picked up.

His cell went off and Madison picked it up. he didn't recognise the number, so he answered formally. "Dr. Madison speaking, may I ask who is calling?" he didn't usually hand out his cell phone number, so there were a select few it could be, but most of them weren't programmed into his phone so he wasn't sure who they were.

Timothy jumped, not expecting to hear the doctor's voice at all. "Um, Doctor Madison it's Timothy James. I was wondering if I could schedule an appointment for tomorrow morning." Wait, he should have just called the building in general instead of the doctor directly! he could have called and filed an appointment with the secretary! Of course he thought this was the building's number. Maybe it was Doctor Madison's office number? What was he doing working on a Sunday? A Doctor's job is never over, he guessed.

Madison smiled, so it was Tim. "Ah, hello there. good to speak to you again. sorry about last night, there was an accident and i was called in. I was able to be at the party for a little while, just didn't get a chance to say hi." he'd regretted that, but it seemed that Tim was having a good time so that was enough for him. "an appointment for tomorrow? i can arrange that...." he looked at his schedule, "i have a time open at 8 in the morning, one at 12:30 and one at four, which will work for you?"

"Oh that's okay! I don't mind at all work is much more important, Doctor." He'd forgotten Madison's first name, but then again were they friends enough to be so informal with each other? It was a shame though, he had been looking forward to speaking with the doctor on more casual terms. But work was work, saving lives. "Eight in the morning is good. Best to get it over with, right? Can I schedule a check-up and a physical? I would suggest a drug test but I'm still on my medications."

Madison nodded, "i'll put you in. ah,so the full screen for going back to work then, hm?" he smiled, "good for you. it will help a lot to go back to a normal routine. are you still seeing your psychiatrist?" this had been his first time having a client working with Dr. Kogami and he knew, after just talking to her on the phone, she was going to be the only person he recommended from now on. "that's important too, Tim, but we can talk more tomorrow. is there anything else i can help you with?"

Timothy nodded before realizing Madison couldn't see him. "Yes. My boss showed up at work with work so his oss had to scold him." he chuckled. As for the psychiatrist. "Daren is reminding me of the dates to see Ms. Kogami." like he ever would. Ever. "Anything else?" he glanced in the direction of the television, knowing Daren was watching it. "Um, I'd like some blood work done as well. I may need an additional medication." to calm down his testosterone.

Madison frowned, "blood work? do you think there is something wrong?" he sat up in his chair, worried. "Tim, we did blood work when you were first brought in. if you are worried about-diseases, let me assure you, you are perfectly healthy in that way." considering what TIm had gone through, it would make sense for the other to worry, but Madison wanted to make sure Tim knew that the chances were almost none now, so he didn't wait for the tests worried.

"Um, it's a small guess." His voice was becoming quieter so Aomine couldn't hear him, wishing the television was louder. 'Oh? I'm disease free?" He'd never thought of that, he'd put Aomine at a large amount of risk. Was Daren disease-free? he did look like a careful man. "Um, I'd like to re-test, just in case and um," he glanced again in Daren's direction, covering his mouth and the mouthpiece with his hand. "Hormonal imbalance." he whispered. "I'd like a test for that too."

Madison sat for a long time, not answering, his eyes wide. "Oh, sorry. sorry, um, let me make sure i heard right. you want to check for hormonal imbalance?" that was-new. "has there been complications?" Tim was talking quietly and he thought he heard a television in the background, "maybe you could go to a different room so we can talk about this further?" If Tim was worried about his hormonal levels, something must have happened. did he fail to get an erection? or possibly it lasted too long? he needed details.
