"Oh. Well at least you have some control when something like that happens. That has to be pretty handy," Jericho said. If it were him.. he'd probably end up dissipating because of it.

Herryk sent a glance over his shoulder at the skreejay booth, his mouth twisting as he debated the pros and cons of ditching out on his duties. It wasn't much of a debate, really, considering the proximity of the feisty blonde in his arms. "Pictures," Herryk agreed, and patiently waited for Freya to lead the way. Rather, patiently waited for her to tell him which direction to walk in. His phone rang suddenly, but... well, his hands were full. He'd have to check the message when he wasn't so... distracted.

"It's actually inconvenient sometimes to be a sturdy creature like an undead. I mean, if you think about it, I don't have the 'convenient' fix of dissipation for some things. So I have to go and fix it manually.
Which I may or may not have varied levels of skill in."
She held her hands up in an almost defensive manner, shaking them back and forth. "No way, not fun at all. Sturdy body just means you have to live with it when you do horrible things to yourself."

Freya was all too happy to point Herryk in the direction of the photo booth. "THAT WAYS!" She announced loudly as she flung one arm in the right direction. The arm came back, holding a bubble pipe, (?!) and she stuck it in her mouth and blew bubbles out of it. "Onwards, Watson!" The mystery of where the photo booth was had been solved. Case Closed.

"We guess it is a bit of a double edged sword," Jericho mused. Having those sort of abilities seemed to be both good and bad. It just depended on the situation, it sounded.

She would have given her friend a hug had that not meant that she would have to let go of his hands and risk falling. The most she could manage was a reassuring smile. "Yes. I mean...any idea what you'd like to do after you graduate? I think it'd be nice to open up a cafe or something, but..." Buuut as of right this moment, that seemed like a fairly impractical job. That, and Jack knows that her parents would not be particularly for that career choice.
She laughed, managing to do a half-shrug. "It impresses me too, to be honest! Though don't they make some heeled shoes for boils too?" She lifted her brows at Mot, but after a moment of thought, hastily added, "Oh, no. Not that you need to be taller. Not at all."
...You were done growing, right, Mot?

Herryk wasn't entirely sure who Watson was, but the draugr moved onwards regardless. He wasn't sure where the bubble pipe had come from either. Halloween Town was a magical, mystical place. Trudging in the direction that she'd indicated, Herryk was only slightly concerned for his own sanity.

Taima went from dubious to nonplussed as Sal patted her on the head and called her a pony. "I'm a bird, Sal, not a horse," she reminded him gently, spreading her wings a little for emphasis. "Are you sure you're okay?" Sal's attempt to change the subject worked, for the most part--if he said he was okay, he was okay, but Taima would still keep an eye on him. At least now she knew that jumping on a table and shouting for help was completely ineffectual; go figure. "You don't know how to dance?" Was that a Horseman thing or--no, questions later. "Sure, I'll show you," she said, grinning at Danny before walking just to the edge of the dance floor, close enough to the punch in case of emergency. "You just, like... move to the music! It doesn't really matter how," Taima explained. For example, the song currently playing was telling them to wiggle, so she did, but only a little bit.

Pressing her lips together and swallowing what was left in her mouth, Levi threatened to take on more just to oppose the wrath demon. Tellin' me nobody's gonna take it? Someone suuure seemed ta'want it well 'nuff. She couldn't look away; her eyes were glued to her target date opponent. A giant breath was taken in when the scareflies erupted along her back. The tatzel suppressed her urge to purr. No no no no- this was a public space. Disallowed. She was not going to let it get to her. The suddenly, surprise would hit her like a ton of candy corn coming from her companion. West was suggesting they go outside? Away from the crowd? Levi looked around, the music blasting and chattering creating all the background noise that would make it impossible to hear anything else. Everyone was inside- so there would be no one outside, she reasoned. Truthfully, the white-haired ghoul was divided on what to do. On the one hand, the scareflies said yes yes yes go ahead! Enjoy yourself!, but her brain said you're going to do something if you go out there. Something ghouly you might regret. It was exactly like that time in the gym when he'd won. All her worries about West's intent and position in her life came up for questioning. The latter would soon collapse as Levi watched him, layers of her willpower bending rapidly. Go outside? Why, yes. Yes she would. Sure, let's.. get some'air. The food was coming with them. It was just going to be them eating outside, yep. There was nothing for her to read into. They's just be alone outside right now. It was fine. She was fine. Was the air thickening or was she just having trouble breathing suddenly? Air- yes; okay, they were getting some air with their food. Pokerfaced, Levi walked ever so casually with West to the doors leading out. Stepping through and onto the ground, Levi immediately scanned around; no one. Oh wait- she heard rustling! It could've just been a critter, but some paranoia convinced the ghoul not to be tricked so easily; could've been some smarts with a camera. She wasn't alone outside with West, no no. They were just opponents here to dance for training purposes. There was no way to explain them training out here... ! Over'ere! C'mon! Levi's hand reached, grabbing West's sleeve and tugging him around the corner of the building. It was really sort of- exciting. This didn't help her uneasiness at all. The adrenaline in the tatzel was going strong and impulsiveness was becoming more and more a rational way of decision making to her. She should just do what she wanted to. No one was here but them. They'd only done this a couple of times so far when it felt like something they should be able to do daily; a necessity whenever she saw him. The thud of West's back against the wall was like a queue against the hum of music coming from inside. Everyone else was in there but they were finally alone here. He wasn't going anywhere until she let the fluttering scareflies in her stomach out. Before he could question her, Levi stepped into West's personal space, leaning against him so that he'd be able to hear her whispered voice. Shhhh~ Hushing him was all the tatzel ghoul did before coming back away far enough for her to look around once more for good measure. The very second she knew they were alone, Levi's lips were on his, her free hand cupping his chin and sliding down to tug at the whiskers on his chin again. The tail that endlessly seemed to strive for West's indeed snaked over to the boil's tail, winding around with it and swinging lighting side to side. This was how her kin celebrated companionship; it made her smile even through the kiss. The purring began at this point as well. Usually she did so only while consuming fish or in her sleep. Apparently the wrath demon was a new reason for her to produce this sound. Tonight she'd worn the dress they'd bought together. West came by and picked her up like a gentleman. With his company came a gift; the corsage he tied around her wrist so carefully it had fallen off the first time. She'd danced with her boilfriend and felt like no amount of mockery could stop her from doing so with complete tranquility. Her thoughts wandered randomly somehow to seeing West with her family back home. He'd fit in well. Everyting right now was just perfect.

The horseman went still, his expression highly controlled. "I thank you for the dance, my dear," Fai said, stepping back and bowing slightly to the fire demon, "but I'm afraid I need a bit of... air," he finished, heading for the door at a surprising pace. He couldn't stay in there. That little move of hers had finally nailed the last door in the coffin, so to say. Once he was outside he walked several steps down the path and crouched there, pressing the palms of his hands together as if in prayer. For a long moment his breathing was harsh, but slowly it calmed. Breathe in, breathe out. He shouldn't have come.

"Well, it seems for a while I've mostly held the sword facing the wrong way......."
Which was a very vague statement, but she left it at that. "But enough of that. I'm not going to have to worry about anything like that, anyways." she chuckled a bit, scratching her stitches awkwardly. "I think we've got some time to do a fun thing or two before it's time to murder someone again."

"Sounds cool," Roch said, grinning. He didn't mention that learning this sort of stuff from a student might be for the best--it could easily be kept from common knowledge that the horsemen weren't as... tech savvy as the rest of the world. They had to keep up appearances, or whatever. Plus, the horseman seemed pretty happy. At least he could make ONE of them happy tonight, he thought dryly. "I'll let you guys go do that, then. Enjoy your prom," he added, stepping away from the two and letting the crowd part him from them.

Dancing. Yes dancing! It always cheered Mei up. "Yes! Lets dance!" The music was more fast paced now and the ghoul just felt like cutting loose after that awkward moment. She grabbed Eisheth's hand and pulled her out onto the dance floor. And then she just cut loose. Everyone else was.

"I am very proud of my Sister's triumph over food," She said simply in response to her Twin and then Ulmuka when they told her of the victory that was had. She seemed pleased that her Needle was proud of her for taking up a bit of dancing with Petro it showed in the tiniest of smiles. Lattice felt fine - she felt safe, Petro was here as well as her Sister. Ulmuka also seemed like a nice enough boil at least he didn't give her some sort of feeling of unease.
When the subject of the Photobooth was approached she seemed fine enough for the idea, "As Needle said as long as there are some warnings it should be fine," she murmured quietly, "...the flash of a camera is a little unsettling," the understatement of the year.
Her head tilted toward Needle, "If Petro would like to be photographed with me then I do not mind," Lattice replied as humble as ever, "I would be honored."

His dance with Shehk over, and Junko now free as well, the ghost boil happily returned to his date. They had some dancing to do, it had been promised, but Seiji had another idea in mind when he stooped to offer his ghoul a chaste peck on the lips. "I know we haven't danced yet, but why don't we go get our picture taken first?" They'd missed the photobooth at scarentines, and he wasn't about to let another event speed past without making sure they got their picture taken together. Junko wouldn't really have much time to think about his suggestion. After only a handful of seconds the ghost boil was picking the ghoul up and wrapping his arms around the tops of her thighs just before the wide poof of her impressive scoops. "Let's go." Unless she braced her hands on his shoulder, Junk would have to resign herself to being carted off over Seiji's shoulder. [Exit]
