☽ Emma would continue looking at the window but that quickly stopped when she smelled the air. Atticus. She looked over and saw him launch an attack at Herald who dodged rather easily. She frowned slightly then as she watched Atticus. She had forgotten all about him and because of her, they were discovered by Atticus and now they would most likely have a death match of sorts. She clenched her fist slightly and shook that off, focusing on Atticus now. She wasn't going to let her guard down, not after he held her hostage last time they met. Shira eventually caught up to Atticus, ending up behind him. "If you two are going to fight, at least go somewhere other that here!" she told them both. She knew she wouldn't be able to get Atticus out of whatever zone he was in. The best she could do was move the fight to somewhere where the city would not end up in ruin. ☾
Herald gave a fierce grin as he heard Atticus speak. "Maybe that's why I came?" he said, clenching his fists. He glanced over at Emma to make sure she was okay before looking back at Atticus. "I hate unfinished business." When Shira ran up, Herald looked at her for a moment before shrugging. "Like where?" He asked, clearly not really caring what the answer would be. He was perfectly happy to fight right here. His wavelength spiked sharply but he didn't launch any attacks yet. "I'll crush you like a bug, Atticus," he told Atticus grimly, no emotion showing on his face though inside was a different story.
Glancing over at Emma, Atticus noticed how she was prepared this time, unlike last time when he attempted to not only take her hostage but kill her as well. Looking into her eyes, Atticus showed that he felt nothing towards, just as he had told her before they departed, she was just a causality in his vendetta against Herald, perhaps if things were calmer, he would actually try and talk to her, but sadly that will not happen now, it is too late to change. "If it were that easy, then you would've done it long ago, mutt." Atticus said in response to Herald. Just as Shira arrived and told them to take it to another place, Atticus lowered his blade, looking back at Shira and Ellise, who had followed her. "From here on out, there will be no interference from you or the cat. You will not get involved no matter the situation." he ordered, which he usually doesn't do, but when he is like this, Atticus takes on the persona of his old Demon King self, giving orders and commands, that he expects people to follow. "Me and Herald will settle this one on one, in a match to the death. This ends here and now." he told everyone before pointing out towards the directions of the plains, which has been a battlegrounds for countless people. "Out there is a place called the Plains of Apocalypse, that is where everything will end." he told Herald specifically.
Herald looked in the direction Atticus pointed. "It sounds as good a place as any," he told Atticus, turning in that direction. "And I agree. No interference. Especially not from your fever-ridden Shinigami girlfriend. And..." He looked over at Ellise, sensing a very familiar wavelength. "Who is that?" Herald asked, frowning. Normally he wouldn't care, but this wavelength was almost exactly like Emma's.
☽ Emma watched Atticus still as he spoke about them not interfering. She was silent for a moment before only nodding slightly in agreement. She looked over at Herald since he seemed to be the only one that could make a portal to that location. Her gaze went to Ellise who smelled familiar. Why though? She stared at her quietly, trying to figure something out. Shira frowned slightly as Atticus told her not to interfere. "Alright." she said. That was the least she could do since he had agreed to move the location of the battle. She gave Herald a look then before looking at Ellise "This is Ellise. She is one of our new comrades." Ellise finally showed up, stopping behind Shira. She looked at Herald then, feeling his power and how close it was to the Reaver's. She gave a puzzled look for a moment before shaking it off. She continued looking at Herald and not saying anything. ☾
Atticus brushed off Herald's insult of Shira and simply turned his back on the beast, showing that he no longer had to worry about lowering his guard around him. After all, Atticus had become much stronger than before, so he could handle himself just fine. "She is none of your concern." Atticus stated before walking pass Shira, giving her a brief looking, almost as if he was saying sorry. Since he may end up dying this would be like a final farewell. Locking eyes with Ellise, Atticus tried to put on a smile like before, but he just couldn't, so he would nod at her and then dash off towards the plains. Herald could have easily produced a portal to the place, but Atticus would not allow himself to use his powers. As made his way towards the plains, the black mark on Atticus' chest glowed even brighter, but Atticus did not notice.
Herald watched Atticus run off. He was eager to get to the battlefield as well, but first....""Ellise, one of our new comrades..."" he repeated as if Shira had just said the stupidest thing in the entire world. "That's NOT what I meant," he snapped. "Why does she have Emma's wavelength!?" He stepped towards Ellise, towering over her. "What are you?" He growled.

☽ Shira watched as Atticus left before she glared at Herald "Oh. Okay. I am supposed to be a mind reader then." she said as she rolled her eyes. Ellise stared up at Herald as he asked her the question "Uh... last time I checked I am human." she said to him, a bit confused by his question. She looked over at the girl who was supposed to be Emma and she stared back. After a moment or two, Emma walked over to them and moved so she was in front of Herald and face to face with Ellise. She smelled exactly like her, why was that? "Are you my mom? Sister?..." she asked eventually. Ellise stared back at her before shaking her head "I... don't think so... My family is dead and I never had a kid. I am sure of that." she told her. Shira watched the two, now that they were right next to each other, she could see it. "You two are the same person. Emma is your counterpart here, Ellise." she said. Ellise blinked in surprise. She hadn't realized that until now. Now it made sense. Emma just looked confused. ☾
Herald looked back and forth between Emma and Ellise. It was true that they looked nothing alike but it was undeniable that their wavelengths were practically the same. He looked back at Shira, his annoyed expression returning. "Perhaps you don't understand the concept of fully explaining something," he told her with a glare. "It's where you're supposed to give a complete explanation of the situation instead of just throwing out a random sentence and then standing there like an idiot expecting us to get it."

☽ Shira looked at Herald "We are getting to that. Wait." she told him. Ellise sighed "Guess there is no helping it..." she muttered. "I am from a different world... one parallel to yours but different. Lord Death is an evil lord who plans to destroy all hope in the world I am from. Myself and some others are the only ones trying to stop it. Some of Death's students from my world were sent here to revive a kishin and ruin this world and I was sent to stop it. Since the two worlds are parallel the ones in it are to. So you have a counterpart, Shira has a counterpart, everyone does. So I suppose this means Emma and myself are counterparts." she said. Emma still seemed skeptical "You look nothing like me though." she said. Ellise smiled slightly "I had the same hair as you... but I came in contact with angelic abilities and my hair turned this color." Emma continued staring at her, not buying it yet. Ellise sighed and pulled out a picture "I was born in the early 1900's... in France... my family died in a bombing. I managed to keep this all this time. Because of my abilities I have lived a lot longer than I should have." Emma took the picture and looked at it. It was an old black and white photo with three figures, a dark haired man, a light haired woman, and a small dark haired girl. Emma's expression changed as she just stared at the picture. ☾
Herald narrowed his eyes, focusing on Ellise. "Very funny," he replied, still standing over her. "An alternate world and you just happened to show up to find a kishin?" He leaned down closer to her, ignoring the picture and not seeing Emma's reaction to it. "Tell me who you are now, or I will rip you limb from limb as a warmup before I fight Atticus."

☽ Ellise looked at Herald "I didn't show up to do that. The others did." she said. He wasn't buying it obviously. "How else would you explain why I have the exact same wavelength as her?" she watched him "Also... you are called The Reaver, right? Or you were... both you and Eric were?" she asked. Emma continued to stare at the picture silently before speaking "I think she is telling the truth, Herald." she said quietly to him. ☾
Herald was about to interrogate Ellise again when he heard Emma. "...what?" he asked, his anger being replaced by confusion. He turned back to Ellise and reached down, putting his hands under her arms and lifting her up to eye-level like he sometimes did with Emma. "Yes, I was called The Reaver," he told her. "And who am I in this alternate world?"

☽ Ellise was a bit caught off guard as Herald lifted her up. She looked back at him as he asked the question "In our world, The Reaver was a very famous fighter in the Arenas. He fought his way out of there, by killing one of the higher ups if I am correct, and eventually joined Death's cause. He is one of the ones trying to trash your world as we speak..." She told him. Emma looked up at Ellise as Herald questioned her, same as Shira. ☾
"Hm, I sound pretty interesting," Herald said as he thought about what Ellise had told him. "And what do I look like in your world?" He asked, wondering if there had ever been a separation between him and Eric in that world. It didn't sound like there had. If he hadn't been rescued from the Arenas, the Eric in this world would never have been created and would have always been a part of Herald. Or rather, "The Reaver".
