Wastes of Mandalore
Locolvictum Lockheart HP 250

Vic easily side stepped the blast of energy. "So quick to fight, maybe we aren't that different. Since killing someone is still killing someone no matter the reason." He said, already seeming bored with the aspect of fighting. Throwing the sword so that it stuck up in between her feet. Turning away from her, Vic began to stare at the sandstorm.

"What you call a wasted life, I call a life of duty to my family. Now I suggest you run, or you may soon join them. I dought you know how to survive during a sandstorm out in the open." He said, sounding so claim, so collected. Very different from how he was a few moments ago.

Wastes of Mandalore

She stood there, the wind whipping about her, her face still flushed with anger, her green eyes flashing momentarily red as she reached down for the sword, flicking it roughly to her side to cast off the drops of Vic's blood remaining there, sheathing the sword, she stared at him...no longer feeling the guilt she had once held for this moment..throwing her leg over the speeder, she removed her pack from her back..and slipped her hand inside until she felt it..the small device with the red button which would activate the Force imbued, memory erasing nanomachines the Je'daii on Thython had implanted in Vic as he slept...pressing the button she laughed silently to herself..perhaps they will erase enough to save him from his madness... she donned Mesh'la's helmet and gunned the motor on her speeder as she took off to join her comrades on the Phoenix...leaving behind the man she had once called friend....

Wastes of Mandalore

Vic heard the speeder bike start and then race away. Seemingly seconds afterwards the storm barred down on him. It hit like a rancor and its winds seemed to be strong enough to pick one up too. It had gathered much speed and it seemed like it was racing down the landscape. And there was this tickling feeling in his head that he couldn't quite explain, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was what he was going to do next. That was to live for himself and take what was his.

Vic jumped and the winds of the storm carried him. Almost as if he willed it, the storms flew him towards the port from whence he came.

Akien Sano flew above his home planet Mandalore, his Delta-7B Aethersprite-class Light Interceptor's engines humming. His Astromech twiddled and beeped from it's holster in front of the cockpit, and Aiken shook his head sadly. "I know, R4-C29, but it's necessary we're here. It could mean life or death for the Jedi Order." More beeps came from the Droid, and he laughed in spite of his nervousness. "As long as we stay up here, the Mandalorians will never catch us. That's the whole point of the modifications to the ship, remember?" Chuckling, he did a quick systems check to make sure he had enough fuel to make an emergency exit should things get hairy, then leaned back in his pilot's seat with a sigh. All he could do now is wait.

Coruscant - Speeder to Temple

Approaching the Sith Sanctum

"My training lasted years... It was no small feat gaining such power. Exterminating abhorrent beings is one of the pleasures of training so rigorously."
Esuritio launched the rest of the speeders into a nearby skyscraper with the force.
"I think we're clear... No matter. Slaughtering them was amusing, to say the least. It's time for you to meet my Master. He will decide your fate, your role in the Sith Order. You can either become my apprentice... Or his. Whichever you choose, it will not be an easy path."
Esuritio sensed the girls iron will and steely determination. He could feel the promise, the power emanating from her. She will be a valuable asset.
Still, Karall hoped she chose him as a master. He had longed for a challenge in training. One he had not had in a long time.
The wind of Coruscant's airy skyline whistled through his hair, his silver locks astray, flopping into his eyes. He turned the speeder left, round another set of buildings to reveal the former Je'daii Temple, now the newly claimed Sith Sanctum, it's reconstruction closely representing that of the Sanctum of Dromund Kaas.
"Prepare yourself, it will not be an easy trial, to walk these halls. You will feel death, pain... The ghosts of the Je'daii we gloriously slew in battle. Come, we must not keep Lord Rahl waiting..."

Coruscant - Temple

Zara shivered as they approached the temple looming over them.
She showed a small amount of apprehension and nervousness, but as much was expected when meeting the Emperor. She hoped she would be able to cast aside such weaknesses soon. Zara was tired of being afraid, of being the weak little girl who always had to run. She straightened her posture and strode in, though her legs were trembling as she walked. She showed none of this fear on her face, but after taking a few steps inside, she turned her head around and looked at Esuritio quizzically, tilting her head.

And if his Lordship is displeased when he sees me? she thought to him. Yes, that was a small fear that prickled at the back of her mind. Maybe he saw that she had potential, but would the Emperor feel the same way? Zara never even thought she had any connection to the Force until today, and even now she was doubting it. It was still something so overwhelming, so awe-inspiring that she didn't know what to think about it.

Screaming Phoenix - Mandalore

Kad closed off the link and set preparations to head out toward Elyria. After setting the autopilot he went back toward the holding cells. He glanced over at the twi-lek sith "I'll get to you in a moment"

Approaching Davth, Kad knelt down. "you wanna tell me what happened ner'vod?"

Screaming Phoenix - Mandalore

The Twi'lek would shift her gaze towards the Togruta, smirking as she heard him speak. What she had thought was true. The fool managed to get himself possessed.......with this new being lurking around in the depths of his mind, all that's needed is a bit of a push...... With a slight stretch, A'kire would turn to face her former companion, beady orange eyes still burning with that fire deep inside. "Why hurry? There's no rush, my dear friend." Her voice remained in a low tone, words rolling of her tongue with a sultry and devious air to them. "I thought you were one who would like a taste of power...after all, on Neimoidia, you were so gung ho on finding the holocron...having your way with any woman you could......why would you want to give that up?"

A'kire would flash a smile towards Davth as Kad approached the two. "He doesn't need to tell you anything, Mandalorian. If you were as concerned about this friend as you are any other, you'd know what happened....." She'd turn to Davth once more giving a slow nod. "Besides, you're better off without this man...."

Wastes of Mandalore - Unknown Location

The storm was almost upon him. Jaden knew what he had to do. The risk he took would likely kill him, but not taking hte risk would mean death anyway. With all the energy and concentration he could muster, Jaden concealed himself in a protective barrier and rode with the storm, beaten about by the torrential winds and grinding sands. He could not keep this up for much longer. He could only hope to do so just enough so that his near lifeless body would arrive at his intended destination.

Wastes of Mandalore

The sounds of the storm echoed in Mesh'la's helmet as Elyria rode just ahead of it.....the winds howled around her ears as she made her way out of the desert..she drove thru the city..still in ruins while crews worked to clean the rubble and remove the bodies of those who had fallen victim to the crash. She dared not turn her head as she sped by the bike shop..the sadness she felt crept upon her as she drove past..suddenly she felt an unfamiliar Force signature..somewhere above her..faint but there...thankfully it felt of Light Force..distracted, she had to swerve out of the way of a passerby who cussed and yelled at her when she went by barely keeping the speeder from toppling over...she finally spied the space port and drove up to the Phoenix...speeding into the still open hatch. Dismounting, she walked in full Mandalorian armor to seek out Master Jusik and make preparations for their departure....

Screaming Phoenix - Mandalore

Upon hearing the voice of the Twi'lek a small smile formed on his lips, "We were wondering when you would join us. Yes this one has his vice's, enjoys them to the full extent possible, done things he never should have, but they were always his choices. He was not trapped inside his own eyes unable to alter anything." With eyes still closed he scrunched his face in pain his voice raspy, near forced "It does not want to give it up! It refuses to give in to the power. The potential this one has is impressive, I can give it what it needs to rule all it desires! It has power unusual for an alien" The Togruta rose to his feet fist clenching, his face warping it to a mask composed of anger, pain, and fear. "This creatures mind has you known as A'kire, I would know you as a Sith. They are allowing your kind into our ranks now? I have been away far to long.... Woman! Break the bond this creature has with its body, aid me in claiming it as my own and I will give you location of the knowledge of Sith Alchemy!"

"RAAAUGHHH!" the Togruta bellowed falling to his knees, eyes still closed, but when he spoke his voice was monotone once again. "It's getting stronger.... Why, why could I not sense its presence in the holocron? Am I corrupted? Is it truly a sith?" Davth was panting hands on his thighs looking towards the cell floor. His eyes fluttered open head rising to look at his captor and comrade he chuckled and spoke "It has retreated for now, I do not think it was expecting me to try and fight it then, next time..... I do not know. " he rubbed the back of his hand across his fore head. "You must not allow it to take over. I know not who or what it is, but it is powerful, I fear it truly knows the secrets of the ancient alchemy.... The emperor is strong enough with out the aid of monsters."

Coruscant - Temple Dungeons

Ka'all slowly became aware that he was lying on a hard, durasteel floor. Opening his eyes to the hazy semi-darkness, the old Je'daii master groaned as a thousand pin pricks of pain shot through his head behind his eyes. As he rolled up onto his right forearm, a wave of nausea hit him and caused him to lay back down on his back. Careful not to move too much again, Endar surveyed his situation. Through the dim lighting, he could see that he was in a small, cube cell, only approximately 10 feet square. There was nothing else in the room but a small latrine in the corner. One wall was open, but obviously covered from top to bottom by a ray shield. There was nothing across the hall from him but a durasteel wall. Very slowly, Ka'all rolled onto his side and pushed up onto his elbow. Taking deep breaths to control the pain, he finally moved himself into a sitting position. With a heavy sigh, he began to wonder why he was still alive. "Hello?" he called out to see if there were any other prisoners nearby.

Coruscant - Temple

((Note: Liam has informed me over Skype that he will not have internet for the next few days, and he gave me express permission to puppet his character for the purposes of this post.))

At the temple, Zara couldn't help but be surprised by the hospitality she was shown. She was given clean clothes, a bed to rest on, and some food to eat.
Her bloodstained cloak was removed and her windswept hair was brushed out of her face. She took some time to walk around the temple grounds and marvel at all of the sights, all the while an anxious feeling was building up in her stomach. What would the Emperor think when he saw her? Was she really here to be trained as an apprentice, or was she to be some kind of experiment? She wouldn't put it past the Empire if they were to deceive her, but at this point she didn't have any other choice. If her only other option was to run away from her past like a scared little girl, she would take her chances with the Sith.
Zara had long been ready by the time Esuritio had sent for her to be taken to the throne room. She followed closely behind, having to place a hand on her chest to calm her pounding heart.
As they walked through the massive doors leading into the throne room, Zara's eyes took a moment to adjust to the new light. She felt a strange tingling sensation as she could sense his presence long before she could see his Lordship, though only a silhouette. Her breath hitched in her throat.
Immediately, Zara lowered herself to one knee, her body trembling. She kept her eyes focused on the floor tiles as her dark hair fell to cover her face. Her heart was still pounding like a drum; she feared that even he would be able to hear it across the room.

Screaming Phoenix - Mandalore

Set This World Ablaze

The Twi'lek's eyes would widen as the other side of Dath would surface, the voice speaking of it's knowledge of the Togruta as well of the knowledge of where she could learn the ways of Sith Alchemy. A sly smile spread across A'kire's face as she would give a slight nod while listening. As the Togruta would fight to regain control of his mind and body, the smile quickly faded.

This shouldn't be too difficult...the presence I sense inside of him is strong...

"And the fact that you meddled with such things as a Sith Holocron begs the question as to why you don't wish to join us." The Twi'lek's voice took on that same smooth and seductive tone as before as she locked eyes with Davth, the fire burning brighter than before despite her recent wounds. "Listen to me. You are weak right now. Trapped in a cell by none other than someone you believed to be an ally. From the moment you met me you knew what I was, yet you never once made the move to strike. Join me. Give in to this feeling and let it empower you. The others are lying to you....they don't care about you....not like I do...I sense strength buried deep within you, Davth...trust me...let that inner strength become unleashed. You possess the key....all you must do is unlock it...."

A'kire's eyes would follow Davth's as she spoke, watching and studying the turbulence inside the Togruta with great interest as her hand rested face up, fingers spread as an open invitation to join her, to trust her, to break free of the lie he lived.

Coruscant - Temple

Dark eyes watched from underneath his hooded cloak as High Lord Esuritio entered with his new charge. As they went to their knees, the Emperor rose and slowly made his way down the steps, his hawk-like gaze taking in everything. With a wave, Rahl dismissed Lord Esuritio, leaving him alone with the young woman. "Rise my child," the Dark Lord said softly yet commanding. Lifting her chin so her eyes met his, he smiled. "Welcome young Zara," he began as he gently took her hand and led her towards a small bar off to the side of the dais, "I trust you've been well taken care of since your arrival. Would you like something to drink?"
