My youngest is getting the official eval where they say he has autism. So we have to drive across the state to do that. Because it took 6 months to get in there instead of 2 years.

Well they told me a long time ago he had autism, but he has to do this testing before they will say that he has it. Thanks though, it's one more big thing off a huge list of things I needed to get done. And the doctor is supposed to help me force the school to give him speech therapy to help him.

Because according to them he can speak "well enough". But the longer his sentences get the harder he is to understand and he needs speech therapy to help with that. He sustained an injury to his mouth as a baby, lil climbing monkey that he is, and it has hindered his speech. He received some speech therapy but as soon as he has any progress they pulled it. sad
