I'm probably not the only one who noticed this, but in the opening video, the wraith impales a space marine, stabs him once, and drops him, immidiately follwed by receiving a face full of bolts.
The exact same video that was released a few weeks ago on various dump sites shows the marine being torn completely in half. Was this a glitch, or just an attempt to tone down the violence?

Toned down, some countries frown upon violence, especially when over the top violence is shown, such as a man being torn in two. My guess is that I have an US version right now, though the EU version will feature the none-toned down intro most likely.

Dark eldar? Whats that? xd The Necron are awesome, I have gotten very good with them. But sometimes I feel they are a bit overpowered. Im playing on normal mode with the necron (which I tried with the other races and it was fraggin hard) and I am pwning everything in sight, hell just yesterday I took out the guard stronghold after only an hour of playing. They still rock though!

Lt. Brookman 2007 will most likely see a lighter add-on, instead of the hefty product we have on our hands this year. Most likely one race and judging from the "epic" setting shown for 2007, more then one planet, I'd say that the Tyranids are in the picture, as they are about the only race that would attack multiple planets at a time and get away with eating them. However, do NOT say that the Inquisition is much alike to the Imperial Guard and the Astartes. Who knows, where there are aliens there is always room for say, the Death Watch or Death World veterans. Where there are heretics, there's always room for the Adepta Sororitas and other mad Ecclessiarchy powered units. Acro Flagellants! As for the Dark Eldar, they still exist? If Starcraft could get Zerg to work DoW can get Tyranids to work. I'd say given the how the Tau 'Path to Enlightenment' works, allowing for you to chose one path or the other, and the addition of the Grey Knights (Many a Guardsmen have died to Psychic Inquisition so far! =D), and the fact that the next installment hints of multiple worlds shows that the Inquisition is very do-able and suspect.

Considering the Blood Ravens where conducting a purge and they got the help of the Grey Knights id say its very possible, xd an inquisitor would make for a cool commander unit.

The necron lord my favorite hero so far, wicked sweet and seth declan, starcraft was a different engine, and they made it so they came in small groups, with a limited amount. In this game, it would be large amounts of big squads. Plus, starcraft only dealt with 3 races.

They arent that slow, I thought they would be ungodly slow or something but they actually move pretty fast, the flayed ones are kinda slow though and I agree the necron lord is the coolest commander unit in the game, he just plain rocks!
I would say more but I have woodshop now...

Kozo I've only played the demo so far, so my opinion is probably unjustified, but does anybody else feel that the Kroothounds are a little overpowered? In the Demo? Yes. In the full game? No. However, the new Ork unit does seem overpowered, as they chew through absolutely EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. Correct me if I'm wrong, or at least voice your opinion on the subject.

-Mykal No seriously whats a Dark Eldar o.0. kidding of coursehmm, I really thought you were kidding well, if you arent and you truely want to know what they are, then consult wikipedia or some other eldar expert, as I am not one. All I know is that they are the eldar who give into the pleasures such as the ones that created slaanesh. They are pirates, raiding ships and killing mercilessly. They are also obsessed with self mutilation and torture, they are quite gruesome. They are just eldar, only tainted and ******** up, and they control the negative energies of the warp, I guess you could call them chaos eldar even, maybe, idk.

Picked Dark Crusade up the other day, and I'm enjoying it immensely. I really like the upgrade system introduced for the commanders, too. The Campaign is fun, though it's pretty tough if you don't get a good start right from the beginning. Also, I curse the man who decided to put autoresolve in DC. Cost me a province when I accidentally clicked it. . .

what ticks me off is that I dont have the luxury of autoresolving, I have to fight everything, because my number is always lower than the attackers, which sucks.
I am currently invading the Tau stronghold with the necrons, and man is it a b***h. Its nots so hard attacked, but they send alot of people at the start and with each attack the group gets bigger and more advanced. All I can say is that flayed ones and my necron lord have proved invaluable in flanking those bastards and eliminating firwarriors, crisis suits, and broadsides with ease. Instead of sending a attack force out, I pretty much used the viel of darkness to cloak the lord and sent him out on a scout killing rampage. Also, he has saved most of my forces from being blown to bits buy absorbing all the pulse rifle fire while the night bringer (I really like that attack he does where it looks like hes sucking in air and then blows out really hard, it took out two squads of firewarriors, kroot squad, a hammerhead and a skyray. Still have yet to finish the mission though, I just destroyed the first of the tew command posts. Then ill seize the relic and send the monolith out.

I was kidding about the dark eldar, apparantly you didnt see the fine print under the message.
You think that was annoying? Try the imperial guard stronghold on normal difficulty, it took me 2 days...
The Nightbringer is definitely awesome, especially his attacks. He tosses around his opponents like toys xd its badass and empowering controlling him.
