Minerva

A sigh was the only response Autumn would hear for the moment. While their family was very strong--in particular their mothers and herself--so were the Reapers. And Minerva knew underestimating the enemy was the easiest way to invite defeat. Perhaps a lesson Autumn would need to learn. "This matrix suspends our bodies in this moment. Our bodies will need neither rest nor nourishment while we're here. I will be here as long as I need to be." And she would be here a long time... or so she believed.
"Almost anyone would be good with them, you imbecile." She said with strain in her voice as she protected herself against the magical attacks as best she could. With the power Carmen imbued into them, it almost went without saying! It take someone completely inept at magic like Ephraim to not be able to use them at least somewhat well. For all his talents, magic certainly wasn't one of them!
"...Ugh!" Her dark magic would hit its mark, weakening Minerva's body more than she had anticipated. Autumn's dark magic was... more potent than she expected. "Enough!" A pulse of pink energy shot out of her form, and she closed her eyes, while her third eye began to glow--and with that pulse, all the swords coming towards her stopped instantly, suspending in the air. Getting to her feet as she kept her eyes closed, she pointed her index towards Autumn, before flipping it up, and a geyser of holy energy erupted out of the ground beneath her feet, engulfing her form suddenly. Autumn might realize it did minimal actual damage, but instead it was quickly draining her magical power and stamina! Of course, with her body somewhat weakened, it was possible this spell might be weaker than she intended it to be, but she needed to strip her of her magic before she continued making a fool of herself. ...Or... perhaps more accurately, making a fool of Minerva!

"Ugh. I'm getting sick of this game of yours. I'm needed else where. Contrary of what you believe, there are people I look after in the cities, every day. I'm not going to let you get in the way of that.." It wasn't some lie to get out of this, it was actually very true, she kind of followed Unisha's footsteps in helping the less fortunate as she always did, though she had magic to back her rather then GIL, or Gold. Her eyes narrowed slightly, as if she had been completely insulted by her words. "Not just ANYONE can use magic, or tomes. Give one to Ariel, see what happens. " She would probably burn the island down!
As Minerva finally made her move, Autumn wasn't so slow to know exactly what she might be planning, and was already preparing ahead the moment she used her magic. Autumn was in a way, lucky Minerva's magic was so obvious, that bright pink energy was hard to miss, given her enough warning to teleport the small distance away she needed to avoid the holy geyser of energy that would of really ruined her winning spree very quickly! "To slow! " She moved her hand through the air into a complete circle, and in her hand would appear a thin, long stream of energy that would form into a sort of rope, before darting out for Minerva and wrapping around her upper body and down towards her wrists, keeping her hands pinned to her own sides. Closing her fists, Minerva would notice something immediately the second she closed them, pain. The dark energy would flow through her body, causing every inch of her to be in a LOT of pain. Then, it stopped, just as she opened her hand again. "Release me. Release me now, or we'll continue this until you can't handle it anymore and your magic disappears with your unconscious little body in the dirt! " She closed it again, to show she was serious, causing the same pain to run through her body a moment longer before opening her hand again.

Minerva

User Image

"Very altruistic..." Minerva said with mild sarcasm, clearly not allowing her claim to influence anything. Minerva had every intention to drag this out for as long as she needed to. For someone like Ariel, the lack of freedom was utter torture! She would give in given enough time.
...Or would she? Maybe Autumn wouldn't be the one giving in--as she seemed to be completely dominating the eldest sister here! The humiliation of her attack completely missing as if Autumn was fighting a child was only the beginning, as her little sister continued to make a fool out of her! "Agh?! What...?" The shock and confusion in her voice was clear--a stark contrast to Autumn so easily predicting her sister's ability, Minerva had no idea what was happening as her arms were pinned to her side! "...A-ahhh...!!" She let out in shock and pain, all her magical resistance doing her no favors in the face of her... shockingly powerful sister. When...when did she become so...overwhelmingly strong? "...H-how..." She managed in disbelief, feeling her heart sink at her own word--a clear admission that Autumn was not only very strong, but way stronger than Minerva had ever predicted. It was so clear in her voice! "...Agh!" For the second time, she was forced down to her knees before her little sister, as her overwhelming power overtook her entire form. Her body was quickly becoming weaker, the dark magic draining her power and only fueling her sister's power and pride. She had to do... something...
"...Ngh!!"
A pulse shot out of her once again, stronger yet more desperate. This would free her at least, and she was quick to get to her feet. She couldn't play around anymore--she had to strip away Autumn's magic now!
She threw out her arms in front of her towards her sister, and Autumn would start to feel the grueling, empty feeling of... ...nothing. Nothing? Minerva stood there, still, and confused, for the longest moment. Until she noticed... movement. Her own, involuntary movement. The hands she held in front of her. They were trembling. And when she noticed this, it took her a moment of confusion, before... a feeling of intense dread washed over her. Her heart sank to the depths of the ocean. Her eyes widened, and the trembling quickly spread from her hands, to her wrists, to her arms, to her torso, and throughout her entire body.
...She had never felt such irrational terror. And she knew it was irrational. But that did not magically make it go away. She was afraid. She was... terrified. The source of her terror? ...It stood right in front of her, probably looking very smug right now.
"...Too strong... she's t-too strong..." She said in a quivering voice, so utterly afraid she couldn't even internalize these humiliating thoughts. "So much... stronger than me..." She cast her eyes downward in fear. "H...how..." That fear shot through her again, utter dread taking her as she considered how powerful that previous attack was. Her resistance might as well be a shield of paper trying to defend against an inferno.
This was her little sister, and she herself was supposed to be a magical prodigy who was insanely powerful, not far off from their mother. Yet all the pride of that and her position as crown princess fell off her trembling body like raindrops, as she likewise fell--down to her knees, for the third time before her little sister, yet for the first time of her own volition. Lowering herself further, she lowered completely to her hands and knees, utterly and pathetically prostrating herself before Autumn in pure, utter submission and fear, her body still trembling. "...Pl...please... mercy, Autumn... p-please...!" Even the seal surrounding them shimmered weakly, showing it was just as close to breaking as its creator was. Either she was too terrified to consider that just dropping it would take this terror away from her, or she was trying desperately to cling to the last bit of stubbornness to keep her sister entrapped here, as she had said she would. Yet... it seemed rather clear which sister was really in charge, didn't it?

"Ehehe....you sound so troubled. What's wrong? Is the great unstoppable Minerva failing at her little sisters training wheels magic?! HM? " Each little pained sound that came from her sisters mouth didn't make her worry, it didn't even make her feel bad! As far as she was concerned, it was deserved, and for her, it wasn't as bad as it could have been, at all! Keeping her prisoner in this magical tomb was completely wrong, and if she didn't step up, and show her what power she was capable of using against her, she would probably be stuck here forever. So a little pain was most certainly going to come Minerva's way. Setting her hand to her hip, and raising her other hand to lift up her hat a bit, Autumns cold smirk remained as she watched her sister fail."Say it some more, I rather do love hearing my most irritating sister say how STRONG I AM. Oh, yes, do say it again.. Say 'Autumn is sooo much stronger then me! What a FOOL I was to doubt her abilities! ' She was so enjoying this, a little to much. Good thing Ariel was gone, or she might of bonked her on the head if she got a glimpse of just how mean Autumn was being! "Mercy? No way. Did you show me any? No, you wanted to keep me locked in THIS. You deserve nothing but more pain so you NEVER try this again! " With Minerva is such a degrading position for one so, well, elegant, Autumn was about to make it worse, as the bottom of her boot came down across her back, shoving her down to face-plant in the sand below. "Lower it now, or i'm going to be less kind. Everything I used against you so far as been very weak, do you want to be conscious, or would you like to sleep for a week? Take this stupid magic off, now! "

"I... I would never fail against you!" Minerva retorted as though the idea were ludicrous, as though her disbelief might somehow change the facts. The obvious fact that... she had no chance of victory. From the moment this fight between sisters began, she had been nothing except Autumn's punching bag.
And at last, the reality caught up with her. as she had just completely failed to try to stop her, and her fear crept upon her. Autumn's cocky pose and cold smirk might have normally just caused irritation to Minerva, yet now, it surged her fear all the more! "...I...I..." She barely managed in response, her mouth feeling suddenly very dry! As Autumn proclaimed she didn't deserve mercy, though, Minerva only became more terrified! "W...wait! I'll..! I'll- ung!" She let out helplessly as she was flattened into the dirt beneath Autumn's shoe, feeling utterly degraded and shamed by her little sister. Still, her fear was much louder than her shattered pride! "...A-Autumn is so much stronger than me!" She suddenly cried out. "I-I was a fool to doubt her abilities!" She finished, showing her obedience to Autumn's prior commands! Letting out a short, helpless whine, she rested her face down in the dort, and at last... she obeyed again, and the seal surrounding them dissipated beneath Autumn's sheer assertive command. "Y...Yes, ma'am..." Minerva managed in a shaky voice from beneath her. "I-it's done! I... I surrender! I submit! I'll do whatever you tell me! Just... m-mercy, please...!" Maybe it was about time for people to stop assuming Autumn was nothing but a failure, because she had completely conquered the one generally believed to be the strongest generation 2 person: Minerva!

"Oh I am going to remember this for the rest of my life! Autumn's greatest victory against her oh-so-powerful-sickeningly serious sister! " She practically yelled out, not that anyone would actually see this little moment between them. Still, even if it was just her to know this happened, it was good enough. The look on her older sisters face was priceless, and so great to see. The fear was something she never thought possible to witness, but there it was, plain on her sisters face. She was afraid of HER! As she better shamed her, by shoving her down into the dirt she would hear those words of surrender, bringing another wicked smile to the naughty Serenitians face. "Good girl, and don't bother me ever again.." She stepped quickly out of the area the moment the seal dissipated, so ensure it really was gone! It was only a second later upon realizing it was in fact completely gone, that Autumn vanished quickly from the scene. Teleporting her in the safety of Azura's house, where she knew no magic could be thrown around! And thus, no prisons to hold her. She wasn't going to be nearing Minerva anytime soon!

"Um, Ephraim?? " Corrin's voice came from a short distance, as she made her way out of the tree's and onto the beach area where she had been watching Ephraim and Kaden duel until his defeat. "He's far from view, you can get up now! " Coming across the icy bound king finally, she knelt down a little, smiling despite his situation. "..You are to sweet..giving him such confidence like that by letting him win..I can tell he has a long way to go, but with you're allowing him to win, he might push himself a little harder into training with everyone, and become a great warrior! " And less prone to getting himself really hurt by true enemies.
She tilted her head a bit, as if waiting for him to break free with ease out of those icy binds. "If you still feel like a little spar, would you like to with me? There appears to be a storm on it's way, but if we hurry, we can get in this little sparring before it reaches us! "

"We face the king of demons, the monster that once ruled all Magvel.

The humiliation of losing against someone he was much stronger than and much more skilled than for the third time in a row certainly wasn't the best feeling, but looking up at Corrin's smiling face was like a panacea to him. It instantly made him feel much better! "...Right." He responded, as she seemed to somewhat misread the situation. For good reason, since the gap in their skill and strength was obvious to anyone with an eye for battle. It was no wonder neither Kaden nor Miya could see it! ...Though it wasn't entirely inaccurate, he supposed. It wasn't like he was giving a hundred percent against him. If he had been, it was unlikely it would have gone in such a way!
With his toned torso still bare, just like ith Autumn, Corrin would be able to see his muscles tensing and flexing as he wrenched against his bonds, though this time he put more strength into it--and snap! went the binds around his wrist. He could've done this all this time, and probably should've when Kaden and Miya were still here. Their reactions would've probably been quite amusing. It took him similarly little time to rip his way out of the rest of his icy bondage, before getting to his feet, brushing himself off. "...I thought you'd never ask." He admitted, as she suggested they spar. They were both people who loved sparring with people to see their fighting styles and test themselves, it was surprising they had never gotten around to doing it together yet! "I've been wanting to spar against you for a while. But you had better not hold back." With how close they had become, it was only natural! "Well, you want to go now, then? You have the initiative, so feel free to start when you're ready. I've been curious to see just how ferocious this cute dragon can be..." He meant for that to sound a little more smooth than it came out, but his social awkwardness didn't allow himself to be quite so smooth. Still, not the worst line to drop before fighting his dragon girlfriend!

Corrin's eyes seemed to trail down a bit unintentionally as he began to use that impressive strength of his to break the icy bonds around his wrists, a soft pink coloration coming to her cheeks as she watched those muscles tense and flex. This little display only made it more obvious he didn't really lose to Kaden at all, making Corrin's theory correct! "He,he.." She giggled, how quick he was to rip himself out of that ice at the mention of a simple spar. It really was to cute. "Oh, don't you worry. I never hold back " She winked at him playfully, taking a few steps back to give them some distance. "Will you still think this dragon is cute after she puts this cute king on his back? " She readied herself, falling into stance with Yato in hand. "Right then, let's go!" Maybe she too was a little to eager to have this little spar!
She DID say she wouldn't hold back, though, with him still in his swimming attire, and a very exposed chest, she was going to try her best NOT to actually hurt him, but she would still do her best to win regardless.
Making her move, Corrin cashed forward, taking a swing of her sword after him, but what he wouldn't realize that, the second the blade was close enough to him, she quickly moved it back while her free hand suddenly morphed into a dragon like claw, reaching out instantly to strike him to send him possibly stumbling, or even flying back a little with the force of contact it made, all while being careful not to let the sharp nails actually strike him.

As per usual, Ephraim was entirely oblivious to any woman's interest in him, so her somewhat wandering eyes were entirely missed by the oblivious king. As she assured him she never held back, he couldn't help but grin a bit. "Oh, I hope not..." It was a wonder if he was trying to flirt there, or if he just genuinely meant he hoped she never held back against him when they sparred. Knowing Ephraim, the latter was probably true! That wink managed to catch him off-guard a bit--she really was cute. But he didn't let it distract him for long! "Ah, already talking big, are we? I may just embarrass you if you don't take this seriously." He countered right back to her in a playful tone as he readied his spear. He had no intention of being put beneath this cute dragon! At least, not right now...
As she went for her feint, she might be surprised when he skillfully swung his spear against her blade with impressive strength, apparently predicting her exact move and attempting to hit the blade with enough force to send it out of her hand! She surprised him, though, when she morphed her hand so suddenly. Well, he hadn't seen her do THAT before! He very narrowly dodged her incoming attack by rolling past her other arm, which had likely at least been thrown off by his prior parry--if not, she'd be able to shut him down pretty fast!
If he managed that, though, now being behind her, he'd very quickly position himself directly behind her, moving his arms around hers and attempting to lock her arms in place by locking his hands behind her. Had this worked, he'd use his height advantage against her, lifting her off her feet with the lock before turning and pressing her front against a tree!
Using his height and strength against her, he attempted to render her completely helpless, pressing his front against her back to try to make it even harder for her to try to maneuver and easier to keep her firmly in place. "What will you do now?" He asked her quietly directly into her ear, pressing against her a bit harder to try to make her feel even more helpless!

"Is that what you truly believe? " She asked with a amused smile, as if she had all the confidence in the world she would win! She did have quite the advantages, but who knew. She was facing Ephraim! Anything was possible.
And so she would begin their little duel with the first attack, had she not had a good grip and been well prepared for the chance he might try to knock it away, it might of gone in his favor, yet she kept a firm hold on it, only being pushed back a bit with the weight of his spear. With her hand morphing suddenly to strike him, but he was quick to dodge and instead of her catching him in disadvantage, it was Corrin who would be the one surprised by his quick moves, before she could make a move to get a distance between them again, he was right behind her, and to her even greater surprise, had her arms interlocked behind her with his. Well! This wasn't looking so good for her, after all that confidant talk! "Ah! " She let out a shocked gasp as she was lifted, and swiftly pressed right against the tree! She was trapped, unable to move her arms or hands in this position! "........" Why did she feel a little heat to her cheeks? He was rather close to her...and in this position, gosh, if anyone had walked in on them, it might not look so innocent!! "..T-This!" She would have to get her mind out of the gutter it was falling into, and suddenly, Ephraim would quite literally be shoved back a good ways when her dragon tail appeared, shoving him back a ways! Had that actually worked, she would spin around, swiping it under his feet to knock him down to the ground! Though leaving no room for him to stand right back up, Corrin suddenly took to her dragon form, and before Ephraim knew it, he had a rather large dragon hovering right over him! "Cornered, now, what will you do? " He would hear her voice, despite the intimidating size and what she was, her voice couldn't be anymore playful! Still! She had him in quite the position, placing one of her claws over his chest, not to hard, but enough to hold him in place.

"Ha... I've put larger things than you on their knees. Underestimate me and you may just end up there too." A bit of free advice before they began--underestimating a foe was the quickest path to defeat! If anyone had listened, they might be confused, given Ephraim was clearly taller than her. But anyone who had seen Corrin take her full dragon form would certainly understand exactly why he said it that way.
Though he may not have been able to disarm her as he had hoped--as expected, she was a warrior herself after all--he still managed to render her helpless as he had hoped. Corrin was certainly no weakling, but when it came to strength, Ephraim likely had her beat. "...Are you all right?" Her face seemed to be getting a little red, he hoped he wasn't cutting off her breathing by accident or anything! Perhaps he should relent. But even if he had the strength advantage, she had the weird-fighting-style advantage, and adapting to that would take time! If it had just been strength maybe that would've been the end of it, but her tail extending and giving him a good slap was more than enough for her to free herself. Despite himself, he couldn't help but think about how those dragon parts on her human form really made her look even more hot than she usually did, and that moment admiring her would prove to be a mistake as he'd be tripped up by that tail! "Gah!"A soft thud accompanied his back meeting the dirt, and by the time he recovered, he blinked up at... what now stood over him. That dragon form was... immense. Fighting alongside it was one thing, but it was another thing altogether to see it towering over you! It was enough to give even Ephraim pause. And then came her claw, which pressed firmly against his chest. "Guh..." He let out as he felt himself pinned beneath the large, cute dragon girl. Her question was a good one: what WOULD he do?? ...Well, for now, he'd have to think about that. Every moment beneath her was another moment she had the advantage, but he didn't think he could quite just overpower her! "...Have I ever mentioned how cute your voice is?" Distracting her with compliments was the perfect way to go! Though, he wasn't lying. She certainly had a cute voice. ...And a cute everything, really.

"Oh? I almost wish I could have seen it! " Almost. But not really, she didn't really want to see a dangerous enemy that could possibly bring terror in this world alive and well! No one would want such terrible memories back to haunt them!
As their little duel began, and Corrin was almost to quickly pinned against a tree, held there in quite the helpless looking state with her arms held at her back. The silly situation she found herself in caused her face to redden for reasons Ephraim clearly didn't catch, a good thing! She couldn't find it in herself to answer his even more amusing question, did he make it a habit to ask such things to his enemies too? Instead of words, however, she would use her own very special abilities to answer that question, and that was by the help of her dragon tail! As it successfully slapped him out of the way and off her, Corrin turned quickly towards him. In the time it took for him to recover from his brief daze, Corrin was in full dragon form, and looming over his 'weak' body intimidatingly! With her claw over his chest, firmly keeping him in place, yet gentle enough not to actually hurt him, Ephraim was now the prisoner of the cute dragon! "Do you think so? " He would feel the pressure against his chest....become a little more intense, but still not enough to hurt him! "I'm happy you think so, though that isn't going to work on me, he,he...." She knew what he was doing, and clearly, it wasn't getting the big'ol' dragon off him anytime soon! If anything, a giggling dragon might even distract HIM!
Regardless if it did or not, Corrin lowered her head towards him, the dragon's head inching a little closer. For any kind of enemy in this position, it would probably be completely terrifying, one move and she could end a humans life pretty quickly! Fortunately for Ephraim, he would experience something much different when that 'scary' dragon's head came to nuzzle against the side of his face in the cutest way possible! "Does this count as defeated? " She asked in a playful tone.
