The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's small body heaved in a sigh. "Alright, alright. I'm coming." He said, slowly dragging himself to a sitting position, shaking the shirt off of him. He licked at his chest and back, grooming the ruffled fur. After a minute, he yawned and stretched then shifted to his human form. "Come on. Let's go already." He muttered and stretched, heading towards the door. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, already close to the door. "Okay." She opened the door, her key actually in her pocket for once. As soon as they were both out of the door, she shut it and locked it after her. Still she hadn't mentioned what she needed to get, nor did she even intend to tell him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn walked with a lazy stride, hands in pockets. Despite his stride, he still kept pace with Ashriel easily. He was quiet for awhile then asked, "So what are we getting? I'm assuming not food since there's plenty of that at home." He asked as if he didn't care, but the fact that he'd even asked meant he wanted an answer. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shrugged. "Something." She answered simply as she crossed the street. Of course, her luck, she tripped right in the middle of it - with an oncoming car.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn frowned at her and was about to reply when she tripped. Seeing the oncoming car, he snarled a curse and yanked Ashriel up, catching her in his arms. He hurried to the other side of the street before setting her down. "What have I told you about looking first?!" He hissed at her, furious in his fear. "What if I hadn't been here? What if you'd been alone? Then you have been hit by a car and trust me, that's not fun!" Having been hit once, Raevyn was a little wary of cars now. Not afraid, but definitely wary. The tiger that should be....isn't....

A tear went down Ashriel's face as she looked at Raevyn. "You obviously didn't notice that I DID look. I didn't see anything. That car wasn't there when I looked. I swear upon it." She took a deep breath, moving ahead quickly. Her fingers worked their way roughly through her hair as she walked, ready to be done with this. This...thing she needed to pick up.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn groaned, burying his face in his hands. He'd done it again. He'd made her cry. He hated that. He caught up to Ashriel, putting one arm around her shoulders in a one armed hug. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell." He whispered apologetically. "You scared me. I was afraid that car could have hit you. And I get mad when I get scared. I'm sorry." He explained, trying to make up for it as best he could. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked up at him again as his arm went around her shoulder. "No, you shouldn't be sorry." She stated simply, looking around her. "I'm stupid, and obviously blind and clumsy. Add those to my list of defects." Her low self-esteem showed itself again as she led him. She did end up going to the local Wal*Mart, being that it was cheap. Stepping in, she sighed.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "You're not stupid nor are you blind." Raevyn said gently. "I won't deny the clumsy part, as it's true, but it's a part of who you are and I wouldn't change it." He looked around the Wal*Mart as they entered. "So what are we here for, anyways?" He asked, remembering his original question. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel bit her lip as she walked farther in. "Something." She wasn't about to admit what it was. Carefully, she walked towards the clothing area, casually.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "That's not a proper answer Ashriel." Raevyn scolded her lightly. "I asked a simple question. I believe I deserve a proper answer." He said, following her, one arm still around her shoulders. He felt safer, more reassured, with her tucked against his side like that. There, he knew she would have a harder time getting into the trouble that always seemed to plague her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel bit her lip, and hard. "Err...well...I'd rather not say." She told him as she drew blood from her lip, moving through the woman's section. Please, please, let him leave it at that.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and wiped the blood from her lip. "Stop that. It's a bad habit." He chided her lightly. "And why are you so embarrassed to say it?" He asked, too focused on drawing an answer from her to notice the section they were in, other than the fact that it was clothes. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him as they finally reached her isle. Within it was an assortment of...bras. "Look up, genius." She said, her face a brilliant shade of red. Carefully, she began examining the prize tags and the sizes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked up in surprise, then turned red, his face brilliant enough to match Ashriel's. "Great. Couldn't you have warned me before dragging me into here?" He groaned, letting go of Ashriel so she could shop. He shifted uncomfortably, trying not to look at the bras, though some of them just screamed 'look at me' with bright colors and patterns. He didn't exactly want to stay here but he didn't want to leave Ashriel alone either. She had record of finding trouble like no one else he knew. The tiger that should be....isn't....
