... My dad is about 63... -.-
And I'd say he probably has more experience, considering what I know of his life. He's driven pretty much anything you can imagine, pretty much anywhere you can imagine. When I say twenty plus years, that's because I don't know exactly how long he actually did it, only that that was the bare minimum.
Love that you assume he's either a coward or a cocky new guy just cause he's not your grandpa by the way.
i wasen't saying he was a coward or cocky i was saying the new guys up here are ><
no...just no...your dad...come up here...drive up that road...with a triple load of methenol...to Kapariak....GOOD ******** LUCK! it takes a day and half, during summer, takes probaly three days during winter >.> but i must say they have donuts there that are fabulous! XD
Okay, let's give you a little perspective. I shall attempt to list some of the different things my dad has driven, and a few of the places. I'm not too sure on all the routes, cause he doesn't talk about them much.
Oil Tanker
Concrete Mixer
Freight liner
Boom Truck
Cargo Truck
Excavator
Bulldozer
And that's really just the ones I know he's run. He's done a lot that I haven't heard about.
With the delivery vehicles, he used to vanish for several days at a time, and would be driving for several days straight. Usually without sleep. The few times he mentions places he's gone, it's the nastier areas of Boston and NYC. I know he also used to run from New Hampshire to Florida.
I really don't see how a load of methanol for a couple days means anything at all. Then again, when you say "Up Here" and "Down There" I have no clue where you are referencing. Even driving a car, I've seen him go for two days straight on a long trip, without stopping. It's rather fun riding with him at night when the trucks are out, cause he knows all of the tricks truckers use, and manages to work together with them to get down the road. There's nothing quite like driving into a horrible section of traffic in your little car, and having all the big trucks clear the way for you.
And because I have realized this has become a silly "My dad is better than your dad" debate, and it is late, I shall be heading off now.
