"I never said I wanted to purchase one of these plants." Edmond turned away from the table and walked forward a few paced before turning back to Cobblepot. "Regardless of wether or not I obtain one I would like to know where they come from. That way if someone ever tries to harm me with one of these plants I will know who to blame. It is a risk to have plants that can put me to sleep floating around if I don't know where they are from." Edmond had begun making things up on the spot. What he knew now was that cobblepot was aware of a place where plants like this one were created and that was useful information.

"Ah, well I can assure you that it is very unlikely for you to encounter one of those plants. Again, I could tell you more after viewing the files in my office, but I am fairly certain that they are confined to one location. They are only able to be contained to the one location, and if they were to be moved they would be considerably hard to contain. And likely stolen from the building." Cobblepot replied, scratching the bottom of his chin in thought. "And if that were the case, then a plant would be the least of your problems."

"There are many things that could be considered the least of my problems. Someone chasing me for obtaining a plant would just be one of them." Edmond shrugged. "But I respect you for caring and so I will not probe that question any more. So I move to my last question." Edmond paused. He couldn't probe the idea of the plant more than he had without giving away what he knew and risking the entire mission. So he came up with another question quickly. "Where is the best place in this city to pick up weapons shipments? I am new here and would hate to be caught the first time around." Edmond had intended to pull the hidden topic from the lab to his work as a vigilante. It was not easy to get the things he used to construct new arrows and from time to time he did require large shipments of metal for the arrowheads.

"Ah, THAT I can answer." Cobblepot replied as he began shifting around in his pockets. "I'm afraid there isn't just one place. I know several places who sell everything, or specialize in a specific weapon. It depends on what you are looking for." he replied as he pulled out several business cards. "Are you looking for close combat weapons? Ranged? Guns?" he asked as he began flipping through the small cards. Most very business or floral looking. Like high-end companies or floral shops.

Edmond paused. If he said ranged weapons he may have to specify what type of ranged weapons he was looking for. Asking for arrows after bringing up a vigilante archer was a bad idea. He then directed his thoughts on problems that he was having as a vigilante. Almost every time he went out he ran out of arrows and was left to fight with a knife. A knife that never really seemed to stay with him. If he could get another weapon that he could use at close range he may not run into as many problems. So his decision was made. "My training consists mostly of close combat. I am in the market for a staff. About 6 feet 3 inches in height. I need it to be able to separate in the middle for transportation and modified combat purposes. I would prefer to have an ejectable spearhead on both ends, just incase the blunt force doesn't do the job. Do you know anyone who would be able to make that for me?" Edmond figured if Cobblepot had a guy who could make that staff he could easily use the same guy to get raw materials for arrows.

Maxwell Sinrahs picked up the phone and dialed the number with no small amount of calm poise. He waited for one of the receptionists to pick up the phone. He had a most unusual and extremely rare, one of a kind in fact, bird of prey that he wanted to sell to the owner of the Iceberg Lounge. He'd Aquired the bird some time ago and found that he was not genetically compatible with any known species of bird of prey. I was calling Oswald Cobblepot's place of business to set up a meeting to sell the bird to a good home. Maxwell knew Cobblepot was a fellow bird lover, and that he would take good care of The bird he wanted to sell to him. innocent little Rosie Hope this is a good start.

Cobblepot smiled a bit as he flipped through the business cards in his hands. "As a matter of fact, I think I know just the sort of man that could help you with that." he said as he pulled out a white card with blue lettering. A little drill and hammer image in the bottom corner. "A hardware store here in Gotham. You'll want to specifically talk to a woman there named Carla. When you meet her, you'll want to tell her that you need a customized tool for a "headache of a chore". She'll understand that as "I need a customized weapon". She'll take you into the back, and you can talk from there." he said as he handed Edmond the card. "I'm sure if you need further tools from her, she'll give you a card for a more private line. She requires first time customers to meet in person first. Background checks and all of that, you understand."

"I see. Well then the diamonds are yours as I agreed and I do believe that concludes our business. Unless you have any questions for me." Edmond had run out of ways to prolong the meeting. He hoped Emily had got the information that he needed but couldn't be to sure. Still, if he pressed any other topics it would seem as if he was stalling.

"Tonight Would Be preferable, But whenever Mr. Cobblepot is available for an in person meeting would be fine. My Name is Maxwell Sinrahs. And Believe me, an In person meeting is required If He wants to Buy This bird. He's not of a species you can find in books or on the internet," Maxwell explained. He understood Oswald was a busy man and hoped that he'd be interested.

"Well, I generally have a few topics I bring up with new customers, and your desire for secrecy and inquiring of rather unknown items does bring up a few questions I must ask." Cobblepot replied as he placed the diamonds into his pocket, leaving the briefcase for Edmond to take back. "What brings you to Gotham? And where did you hear about those illusion cubes?" he asked casually.

Edmond found that he could answer the questions honestly aside from a few altered details. "I have always been the kind of guy who stays where he is needed wether or not he is wanted. Unfortunately my resources began to dry up in the last city. I could no longer trust who I was working with an around so I dealt with all the loose ends and moved on. Gotham was the closest city on the map." Edmond paused. The part about the cube was slightly harder to answer so he created a total lie. "A friend of mine overheard a beat cop talking about a cube that projected fake imaged. He told me and I began curious."

"That's Do fine. I just hope the Staff don't scare easy, This is no ordinary bird," Maxwell said into the phone before turning to look at the bird of which he spoke. Maxwell was standing on the hydraulic loading ramp for his truck. He jumped down and closed the door to the truck before putting the lift back into its proper place. He walked around to the front of the truck and climbed in. Then He started up the truck and started driving, still on the phone. To maxwell is was always better to be early, for it was absolutely rude to be late.

"Really? And this cop was from Gotham? Or the same one who gave you information on the plant?" Oswald asked. As far as he was aware... Mysterio was specifically a New York City villain. The cubes were meant to be used for his new employer, and kept undetected on the upper world. Of course, Penguin wasn't in the loop, and didn't care to be too much. It was possible that they were doing things on the surface now. Still... HE would have heard about an event in Gotham where illusions were used for a crime. And he certainly would be aware of information on the Black Mercy plant leaking out. As would have the organization they are housed in.
