((oh yer sure - notice the cuteness and not Taki's impending doom of doomy doom! xd ah - no more Kia for him after this... tee hee - why do i get the feeling your going to kill me for that? T^T))
Lee walked up to the door's a central control and stared at the door. He raised an eyebrow and pushed a button on the intercom. It made a buzzing noise inside the room.
He looked up and raised an eyebrow at where he believed the camera to be. He knew they would see him so he didn't care to announce who he was. They called him here in the first place.

Ilya nodded. "Everythings recorded anyways, i'll make sure a copy of it gets to you," he said seriously before turning back to look at the pair.
Ilya sighed dramatically. "Ah, but they had a paradise to begin with. Oh woe is me tha-Ow!"
He rubbed the back of his where a pencil had been thrown at. He glared at Dem who stared back at him blankly.
"Cut the melodrama and get back to work, you."
The blonde sniffed, "Your so mean sometimes. Y'kno i just may have b-" BUZZ" -uzz? Oh wait! That's my computer."
He looked down and clicked on a smaller screen, making an image of Lee appear larger. "And that is...?"
"Lee," Dem offered, "He's photo id is on file. Remember we were looking for him?"
"Ah," the blonde said and let the door open, allowing Lee to walk in before shut with a hiss behind him.

Tala shook his head. "Don't be."
He sighed. "Just let it drop and get some rest. It'll all work out Kai."
He looked up and smiled at the other. "We'll get everything back to normal and won't have to worry about any of this again. Promise."

Kia sighed and stroked Taki's hair and sighed. That shoulder was going to cause more trouble later on. She was surprised that he was sleeping through it.
Probably wake up yelling, knowing him.
"Kia!"
She turned her head up and looked at mariah making her way over.
"Kia, where do you actually want everyone?"
Kia looked around before sighing again. "Just have them all facing this way, i can't really move. Not with these two asleep."
Mariah nodded and then bounded off, organising everyone further. Kia watched everyone and worried her bottom lip. Now what was she going to have everyone do? Split up and surround Boris somehow or just attack.
Neither was strategically appealing. It would take more than that to get at Boris.
She looked around. Smaller groupd would be less suspicious but if Boris knew what she was up to than they'd be wiped out easily. They might as well just charge in a straightline and make sure none of Boris' men are behind them.

"Thanks." Sonia told Ilya quietly before raising her head to look at the newcomer. "Lee, I presume?" She asked, looking the Chinese teen up and down. He didn't look like much.
Rei nodded, though Sonia wasn't facing him. "That's him." He confirmed, stepping forward so his former-friend could see him clearly. "Long time, no see." He said with a smirk.
Boris blinked at Rei's change of attitude. He'd gone from sulky, apologetic Rei who Boris knew and hated to being cocky. Old rivalries? He wondered as he stood up and moved to stand beside Rei, careful not to stand too close to the younger.
"I'm Boris Balcov, commander of this facility. Glad you could join us."

Kai sighed and nodded for Tala's benefit. I wish things were that simple he thought, going back to staring at the wall opposite to himself.
As if to prove his point, the door to their room opened, the original Kai's head poking through the door to see what was inside.
"Finally!" Kai1 exclaimed, stepping through the door and closing it. "I've been looking for you." He looked at Tala and flashed him a brief smile before glaring at his double.
"And you" He said, his eyes narrowing. "What the hell were you thinking bringing Fayina back here?"
Kai2 shrugged, sitting up. "Seemed like the thing to do at the time."
Kai1's eyes narrowed further until they were mere slits. "Seemed like the thing to do at the time?" he asked. "While you were busy making sure she was as comfortable as possible, I was trying to stop Taki from dying because of what she did."
The cloned Kai rolled his eyes. "You didn't see the state she was in." He said simply. "She was devastated about what she had done."
"And so she should have been!" Kai1 said angrily, taking a step toward his other. "Taki's still got a bullet in his shoulder. He might never get his arm back."
"You didn't see her." Kai2 said flatly. "There's a line between justice and cruelty."
The original sneered. "Oh right, One clone to another."
Kai2's eyes narrowed instantly. "What?"

((hmm... please don't kill me for lee's attitude/character... but he's comming across as a bad guy to me and i don't know him ^^; ))
Lee regarded Rei for a moment before turning to look at Boris.
"I am Lee," he bowed his head, "And the pleasure is all mine."
Dem raised and eybrow and shot Ilya a glance. The blonde shrugged and mouthed the words 'suck up' back at him.

Bryan furrowed his eyebrows together before slowly openeing his eyes and blinking, having been woken up by the commotion. He raised and eyebrow at the sight.
"Oh, Kai," he mumbled.
Tala ooked from one Kai to the other. This little 'conversation' didn't sound good.

Kia watched as the group in front of her formed some semblance of order. They had all gathered in the middled of the room and facing in her general direction more or less.
Mariah made her way over to her. "That should do it," she announced.
Kia nodded. "Excellent, no all i have to do is get this thing," she shook her leg slightly," off my leg and i'll be able to stand up."
"Mm.. I'm no' a thing," Taki mumbled.
Mariah blinked down. "Er, isn't he supposed to be asleep?"
Kia shrugged and looked down at Taki. "I'm going to stand up you so don't fall over."
"Mm..."
Kia stood up slowly but Taki thankfully didn't slip. He rather repositioned himself so he was leaning against Kia's leg. Kia raised an eyebrow at Mariah who giggled.
"See? He's fine. He can handle things even when he's asleep. So lets get thsi show on the road," she said and faced the group in front of her.

"If it hadn't been Fayina you probably wouldn't have run off in the first place." Kai1 accused. "You would have stayed to help me with Taki, the injured party."
"You can't know that." Kai2 stated flatly. "Unless you're trying to tell me that you couldn't handle Taki by yourself I don't see the point of this."
"The point is that while I was making sure that my friend-"
"Our friend" Kai2 corrected pointedly.
"-wasn't going to bleed to death, you were making sure that she was as comfortable as possible!"
"You would have done the same if you saw the state she was in." Kai2 said firmly.
Kai1 shook his head. "I refuse to believe that. I don't know why you ran after her- I didn't. The only explanation that I can come up with is that you somehow feel sorry for her. And the only reason I can think of for that is that you can identify with her."
"Then you need to try thinking harder, don't you?"

"No last name?" Boris asked with a raised eyebrow before shaking his head, getting rid of the thought. "No matter. We called you here about a matter of urgency. Have you ever heard of the Sacred spirit Drigger?"
Sonia studied the Chinese teen's face, looking for any reaction to Boris's question. This was the way that she and the leader of Biovolt had worked together for years. He would ask the questions without studying the person in question so they wouldn't be edgy and she would perform a closer examination than Boris could ever do by himself.
The system worked.

Lee looked up at Boris, keeping a straight face. "I may have, Sir, " His eyes flicked over to look at Rei before going back to Boris, "What of it?"
Ilya, having no real interest in what was going on went back to watch what was happening in the room with the outsiders. He raised an eyebrow as it now appeared to have two Kai's. This should be interesting... He looked around at the others before shrugging, pulling out headphones from his desk and listening in on the room.

Tala raised an eyebrow. "When did he get friend status?" he asked quietly, more to himself knowing that the two were wrapped up in there little argument.
Bryan rolled his eyes and watched the two Kai's lazily.

Mariah nodded and stood beside Kia, watching everyone else. Kia sighed, talk a deep breath and gave the group her full attention.
"Alright people's, time to settle down and listen," she ordered, "And before anyone of you asks, I'm not dead and i never was and i don't plan to be any time soon."
She paused and looked around.
"Can you hear me in the back," she asked.
"No, we can't hear you," someone called, earning a snicker from some others. Kia stared at them blankly.
"Ha ha. You obviously can if you knew what i asked. Now," she started again, "Things are going to begin a little sooner than expected.

Boris' eyes narrowed slightly. "As I said, the matter is urgent. If you do not have any information on it I suggest that you leave. For both of our sakes." He added as an afterthought.
Already he didn't appreciate Lee's presence. His attitude seemed to... arrogant for a subordinate. However, he had something Boris wanted.
The trials of life He thought grimly. "So, I'll ask again. Have you ever heard of the sacred spirit Drigger?"
Rei returned Lee's look unflinchingly. He had been friends with the teen in front of him once.
But that was a long time ago.

Kai1 growled under his breath. "You're an arsehole." He concluded.
His clone blinked. "That's the best you can come up with."
"I'm sorry, I'm too busy trying to recover from learning field first aid and debating whether or not to dig a bullet from Taki's shoulder to come up with a good insult."
Kai2 rolled his eyes. "Stop acting like your experience was the most horrific one ever encountered." He rolled his eyes. "I never realised that I was so selfish."
"Go ******** a tree."
"In this weather?"
Brooklyn stirred, the voices of both Kai's finally penetrating his consciousness. "Mm?" He asked, not wanting to open his eyes.

Bryan looked at Brooklyn out of the corner of his eye. "I wouldn't bother waking up," he mumbled, "Kai's insulting himself, nothing interesting."

Ilya covered his mouth, holding in a snicker at what was happening in the room, oblivious to what was happening where he was at the moment. Dem raised an eyebrow and made his way over to the blonde. Ilya looked up, took one of the ear pieces and shoved it in Dem's ear, and there they paying attention to everything but Boris.
Lee didn't move. "i'm sorry, i meant that i may have information that is useful to you. If you could tell me what you wanted to know specifically i would be happy to help you."

"Boris seems to know that we're up to something. It's better that we act sooner instead of later, before he gets a chance to set up anything," Kia continued.
"Right!" said someone, "Let us go now then!"
Kia's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Ah, no! Don't do anything yet! Going in with out any plan is just stupid. Plan, peoples, plan!"
There was some mumbling of agreement throughout the crowd. They forgot about that. Kia sighed.
"Ok? Are we all happy? any questions before get to the plan part?"
"Ah," someone started. Kia looked up. "Mm?"
"Did you know that you have a Taki attatched to your leg?"
Kia blinked and looked down at Taki, who appeared to still be asleep. She looked up again. "Yes, i know that. He's had a bit of a rough day so hes sleeping on them."
"And she has really nice legs too," Taki added. Appeared was the key word.
Kia flushed and those who heard Taki cracked up. Kia scowled and took a step forward, letting Taki sleep and fall down.
"Uwaah!" Taki exclaimed before hitting the ground, "Oomf! Hey! You could have hurt me then!"
Kia looked over her shoulder, "Na ah. That was your good shoulder and you've already gotten yourself shot, remember?"
Taki snorted before sitting up as Kia turned back to the group. "Yes, rough day meaning that idiot's had Boris try to kill him twice. Right then. Plan!"
EDIT:
"I still say we just go now," announced the voice from before.
"And not have any order or organisation at all? How far do you think we would get? Organisation is the key here. Did any of you learn anything from the Bolsheviks in Russian history?" Kia retorted.
She recieved a number of blank stares. "Of course not, how silly of me. The thing is we need organisation if we want to succeed."
She looked around for a moment as she began thinking. "We should do this in waves. Advance from here at attack Boris like a wall, but we'll have to make sure he doesn't come behind us. Got that?"
There was murmered aggreement from all. "Good then. I guess we should aim to push them into the front lab."
"Why the front lab?" someone asked.
"I'm sure that's where he's keeping his latest experiment. If we can trap him in there and destroy it he won't have anything left. He'll be defeated."
She looked up. "THen we'll be free."
Taki looked up at the ceiling. Must be Black Dranzer...
"So we surround them and trap them, eh? I don't think this is going to work," someone said.
Kia gave them a questioning look. They smiled sheepishly.
"I mean, they're going to see us comming with the camera's and all," they explained.
Kia blinked and looked at Mariah who shrugged. She looked back at the group and chewed her bottom lip. "I don't know what to do about that."
"Power."
Everyone turned to look at Taki who was sitting cross-legged, Fayina in his lap and staring at them blankly. "Huh?" Kia said intelligently.
"Power. The main power switch should be over there if memory serves correct. If we cut the main power than the camera's go off."
"Ha! That won't work! How will we see then?" someone asked.
Taki shrugged. "By the emergency lights. If the power is cut for any reason, the backup generators kick in, lighting up the emergency lights and keeping the heaters working. The emergency lights are bright enough to manoeuver by but dim enough for you not to be seen. Plus the camera's will be out. They won't know what hit them."
Kia smiled. "Glad to see your using your brain for once, Taki."
Taki nodded and smiled proudly before registering what Kia had said. "Hey! I use my brain all the time," he huffed.

"How about it's whereabouts?" Boris asked casually. "that would be helpful."
Sonia sighed inaudibly at the tech's antics. Why couldn't they take anything seriously. She had given up trying to read Lee. Someone had taught him very well.
Sonia couldn't tell what he was thinking. It was a new and unsettling experience.

"Hm?" Brooklyn asked, still struggling towards consciousness. "Kai?" He asked, cracking his eyes open. "Mm-too bright." He mumbled, shutting his eyes again.
Both Kais glared at each other for a second before simultaneously averting their eyes. Kai1 sat down on the edge of the bed his twin and Tala were on, pointedly ignoring his look alike.
Kai2 ignored his other completely, glaring at the wall adjacent to him. He wasn't going to give in if the other didn't.
It was now a matter of pride.

Fayina stirred, moaning softly as she tried to wake up. "Sacha..." She breathed, not wanting to leave the dream she was having of her lost love. She scrunched up her eyes, trying to keep his image in her head as she woke up slowly.

Taki looked down and raised an eyebrow at the girl.
Kia looked at the group that was still standing in front of her. She blinked at them and the majority blinked back.
"What are you all doing still standing there? Get going and organise yourselves, prepare whatever...," she told them.
They nodded and started moving around. Kia looked over her shoulder at Taki. "Are you alright there?"
Taki nodded. "Just peachy."
Kia smiled and walked off with Mariah.
Taki rolled his eyes. "I mean i just love sitting here doing nothing while looking after midgits," he mumbled before looking back down at Fayina and waiting for her to wake up fully.

Bryan gave brooklyn a small smile before yawing. "Maybe i should sleep more," he mumbled.
Tala leaned forward so he could lookat both of the Kai's. "Is it safe to talk now?"
~
Ilya and Dem nodded at the screen. After a moment ilya turned to Dem and stuck his hand out, "Five bucks that the one on the left gives in first." Dem raised an eyebrow at him before shaking the other's hand, "You're on."
"It's in Biovolt," said Lee, "I'm it's keeper. What do you want it for?"

Boris paused as he considered his options. He doubted that Lee was obedient enough for him to simply give Drigger to Rei if ordered. That wouldn't work except with the most thick of soldiers. Boris didn't particularly like soldiers who were incapable of thinking for themselves- to a degree.
He had to find some way to trick Lee into bringing Drigger out into the open.
"I want you to fight against your friends in the resistance." Boris said flatly, ignoring the pang of hurt he felt in his chest as he recalled how he knew about Lee's disdain for the resistance. Rei would explain it later.
Until then- Boris just had to trust him, a position he hadn't been in for a long time.

Both Kais remained silent, still unwilling to look at each other or Tala.
Childish brat They mentally insulted one another- forgetting for the moment that they were mirroring each other.
"Then sleep." Brooklyn mumbled, his tiredness beginning to take over again. He sighed and actually lay down on the bed instead of on Bryan's shoulder.

Fayina opened her eyes slowly, getting her bearings. She realised that she was leaning on someone and instantly shook off any residual tiredness. "s**t!" She said loudly, pushing herself away from the unknown body.
"Who the-" She started before catching sight of Taki's face. "I..." She said, trailing off, shocked.

Taki blinked at the girl before shooting her a grin, "Morning sunshine! How are you feeling?"
The grin dropped from his face then and he stared blankly. "Me? I can't feel my left arm."
He looked around at everyone else.
Kia was over near the far wall with Mariah and some blue hared guy. They were all staing at the power box.
"Wonder what would happen if we pushed that button?" the guy asked reaching his hand out. Mariah and Kia's eyes widened.
"Wait! Not now!"
The guy held up his hands defensively and laughed nervously. "I wasn't going to!"
The two girls sighed in relief.

Tala raised both eyebrows and leant back again. "O..k...then," he muttered before closing his eyes again.
"Hm,"Bryan muttered before looking down at Brooklyn. "Move over then," he said before lying down.
~
Lee raised an eyebrow. "The resistence? They're still around huh?" He looked around the room for a moment before looking back at Boris.
"I'll do it."

Boris raised an eyebrow as he appraised Lee. that had been rather easy. Either Rei really hadn't been joking about Lee's feelings toward the resistance or the teen in front of him was hiding something.
Either-or, Boris had to take that risk. He nodded curtly at Lee. "In that case- I need to have some tests performed on both you and the spirit. We have to be able to determine the extent to which you can exploit it's power." He gestured to Rei standing beside him. "Rei will escort you to pick up Drigger, if need be, and will then take you to Ralef's lab where the tests will be performed."
Rei looked over at Boris, trying to warn him with a look that that really wasn't a good idea.
It didn't work.
Boris gestured for Rei to go with Lee with his head. "I'll have a team waiting for you." He told Lee.
Sonia turned her attention back to Boris and Lee. The Chinese teen was still proving impossible to read but it was interesting watching just how well he hid what he was thinking.
Sonia had only met one other person who had that ability at that level. Lee was talking to him.

Brooklyn sighed sleepily and shuffled on the bed to accommodate Bryan, never opening his eyes. "'Night" He murmured.
Kai1 looked over at Tala, sending him an apologetic look. That is, until he noticed his counterpart doing the same thing.
He went back to glaring at the ground. Since when does he get to look at Tala like that? He wondered jealously.

Fayina shook her head wordlessly, on her feet now and backing slowly away. "Who the hell are you?" She asked quietly. "I killed you. You're not meant to be here."

Taki blinked at Fatina before narrowing his eyes slightly.
"Well, who do you think i am? I'm Takiran and i hate to break it to you but i'm still living and breathing. You'll have to do better next time," he muttered.

"Eh, i think it's still afternoon," Bryan mumbled as he wrapped an arm around Brooklyn and tried to go to sleep.
Tala shot a small smile to each Kai before looking between them puzzled. He had the odd feeling of a toy being fought over by two kids. Him being the toy.

Lee nodded. "Yes Sir, " he said and saluted before turning to Rei. He gave the other a bored look, expecting him to lead the way.

Rei bit his lip in frustration. He couldn't risk arguing with Boris here. "Yes, Sir." He said finally, saluting and walking toward the door of the room, expecting Lee to follow him.
Boris watched Rei leave, frowning slightly. He really needed to talk to the Chinese teen.
But not now. He turned to Sonia. "Get a team into Ralef's lab and notify the old man that he's going to have some company." He ordered.
Sonia nodded. "Yes, Sir." She said, turning back to Ilya and Dem. "Time to stop watching TV and actually do some work." She told them. "Dem, get me Ralef. Ilya- assemble a team to test Lee's abilities and control over Drigger."

Kai2 glared at the ground, hurt. He didn't understand the other Kai's reaction to his helping Fayina. How could it even cross the mind of his other that he had only done it out of sympathy because they were in a similar situation.
Was it? He wondered, the thought catching him off guard. Would Kai have done the same thing?
~
Fayina blinked as she slowly began to comprehend what he was saying. This Taki didn't look like the ones that had been plaguing her. The ones that she had kept seeing were an idealized version of the real Taki.
She looked at the bandage on the Russian's shoulder. This was definitely not like her imaginings.
"I didn't kill you?" She asked slowly.

Taki sighed and shook his head. "No, i'm still here and alive, much to Kia's disbelief."
He shrugged with his good shoulder, "I always knew i was invincible," he gloated before looking at Fayina seriously, "What about you? What are you going to do here? Help or try and kill me again?"
He smirked. "Cos' your welcome to give it another shot."

Tala looked at both of the Kai's and thought. They acted differently to each other, even if it was only slightly. A side effect of the cloning. He shook his head, that was still to weir to think about but then again there was his proof.
He sighed exhasperatingly. Now he had two moping Kai's. He closed his eyes and tried to get some rest. Maybe he's wake up and this would be a dream.

Ilya raised an eyebrow at the blonde. "What am i? Your personal assistant?" he asked standing up already moving towards another computer, ready to find the files and numbers for the people needed. Dem stood up as well.
"Yeah, slave driver," he muttered before reaching for the phone and dialing Ralef's Lab number.
~
Lee followed Rei, his eyes not leaving that back of the raven coloured head.
"Shouldn't you be running off to you little resistence right about now?" he questioned.
