Sorry, I was going to give you guys a list of species and classes you could be, but I did not want to limit you to just a handful of things you could be.

You did not here it from me, but for tektek and relationship purposes, I would stick with a human, twi'lek, or Zabrak character, since they are all human-like species. For Occupation, you got your obvious Jedi, Sith, Soldier, Stormtrooper (And of course, any variations on those two), Bounty hunter, Pilot, ship commander, Medic, any civilian position of course.
If you are like waffle, and like to do the magic thing in rps, a jedi with the power to control the force (Telekinesis, Mind Tricking, Lightning, force jumping, etc...) is probably your best bet. Jedi would also work for you pen! since you are not a ranged weapon kind of girl, that lightsaber gives you all the fun of close combat with all of the power of a blaster or any other weapon.
