Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart As Sora and Kairi rode back to the ranch, Kairi couldn't stop smiling. She hadn't had this much fun in a while. She wondered if her other friends were having as much fun as she was. The only other people the crimsonette and the brunette had run into so far were Blink and Ari. The red head was sure the others were having fun too though, and that sooner or later they'd run into them as well. But for now the Princess was delighted to have the Keybearer all to herself. Kairi, who was looking around enjoying their surroundings, suddenly noticed out of the corner of her eye that Sora was staring at her. Her heart started beating faster and her cheeks began turning pink. Hoping Sora wouldn't notice Kairi turned her head away and pretended to look at the pretty flowers they were passing. Though the Princess couldn't help but turn her head back a little again to look at Sora out of the corner of her eye once more. What was the brunette thinking? Kairi longed to know. The way he looked at her, it was so cute. She desperately wanted to turn around and face him. To stare back into those clear, bright, beautiful blues eyes and tell Sora how much she truly loved him. But she couldn't bring herself to do it. Unsure about what to do next Kairi was glad Sora spoke up and asked what kind of food she wanted to get. Her heart slowed down and she managed to act like her regular self. The red head turned to him with a smile and answered, "Hmm well anything is fine with me. What are you in the mood for ?" Kairi then began thinking about all the kinds of food they sold at the carnival. She didn't want to eat anything that might make her look like an idiot in front of Sora, like spaghetti or corn on the cob. They'd probably just end up laughing at each other while they ate, but still Kairi wanted to avoid those kinds of foods for now. "Let's see... How about pizza? Or maybe hot dogs? Any of those sound good to you?" Kairi asked suggesting ideas. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Riku sighed. He didn't know what he was going to do. Naminé was inside the house of mirrors with Roxas and here was Xion. Xion! He ignored any pressuring thoughts and grabbed the girl's arm. "Come on. We'll be back guys," Riku stated before he began towards the small building his girlfriend had disappeared into. He stopped near its entrance and turned to the ravenettte. His eyes pierced her, holding no emotion, and she flinched. "Stay here."
Xion watched Riku disappear into the building as she stood in the open sun. She hear Riku call for Naminé from inside somewhere. The ravenette looked around. The others were still standing there and Lakayna was looking at her. That girl knew something. She turned away from the stare and continued to scan the area. The girl's eyes fell onto a pair a few yards way. She couldn't hear the conversation but the two were speaking of something. The girl looked familiar and looked identical to her and the boy...Xion stared at the boy. It was the one she had looked like before disappearing...

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé held Roxas by the hand, giggling as the two of them tried to find their way out of the maze of mirrors. Whenever she hit a dead end, Naminé would smile up at Roxas and shake her head before continuing along a different path. They were further into the maze when she heard someone call her name. Riku? Was Riku in here, or was her mind playing tricks on her? The petite blonde pulled to a stop and looked around, the mirror Naminé's mimicking her movements. She saw only herself and Roxas... Riku wasn't there. Was he?
The petite blonde told herself she was being silly and she pressed on into the maze. Surely, Riku wasn't in here. How had he known where to find her? The Memory Witch began to lead the way again and pulled up short when she saw a streak of silver flash by one of the mirrors. Riku was in here! The girl looked at the mirrors and saw copies of Riku whisking through the maze. But which one was the real him? The girl looked about her, and decided that none of the Rikus surrounding her were real. The teen turned to look behind her, just as the real boy rounded the corner.
"Riku!" Naminé called out brightly, her white teeth flashing as she smiled brightly at her boyfriend. Looking up at Roxas, she cast him an apologetic smile then released his hand and walked over to Riku. Looking up at him, she smiled shyly, gazing up through her longs eyelashes. "I was wondering where you'd run off to. I tried to find you... but I guess you found me." The girl said with a light laugh. "Sorry we didn't wait up. Roxas just got here and all I wanted to make sure he went on a ride or something." Naminé said, accepting all responsibilty. Looking over her shoulder at Roxas, she beamed at her best friend then looked back up at Riku.
[[ Hi, guys. I'm feeling better so I'm back. And Happy almost Christmas to all of you. ]]

Riku hated this place. Every time he thought he saw Naminé it ended up being nothing but a reflection. The silvernette continued through, bumping into mirrors and finding false people until he turned and his name rang out. he turned to see his girlfriend release her hand from Roxas'. Riku's eyes glared at the boy for only a second before flashing lovingly to Kairi's Other. "It's fine....I found someone I had to talk to. Sorry I didn't tell you," he stated. he glanced back towards the way he'd come. Hopefully Xion was still standing where he had told her to. "Someone's here, Naminé," he stated. His tone was serious and concerned.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé smiled at Riku, relieved that he didn't seem angry at all, really. She hadn't thought he would be of course. After all, what was there to get worked up about? She was perfectly safe with Roxas. The boy was her best friend and they always looked out for each other. Riku told her that it was fine and she smiled up at him, listening as he went on. He'd found someone he needed to talk do? Riku apologized for not having told her and she gave a light shake of her head, her soft voice chiming. "It's okay."
The silvernette looked behind him, back towards the way he'd come. When he turned back to Naminé, the angelic Nobody took in his body language, the slight look in his eyes that let her know something was troubling him. Before she had time to ask, Riku spoke, saying someone was here. His tone confused her. He was serious and... concerned? "Someone's here?" She echoed, her brilliant blue eyes portraying her confusion as she looked up at him. "Who?" Her mind immidietely wandered to Xemnas but she waved that away. Riku would be acting different if it was Xemnas. He'd be angry and annoyed, not concerned.
"Riku, what's going on? What's wrong?" Naminé asked her gentle tone concerned. Concerned for him.

Riku's teal eyes pierced through the air, staring past Naminé and at nothing at all. He hadn't mean to upset the blonde but he had. He would apologize for it later. The silvernette looked at his girl before looking back at Roxas. His eyes stayed on the Nobody of his best friend. "Xion," he stated. A few silent seconds past as he took in Roxas' expression before looking back down at the petite blonde. "Xion's here."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora hadn't really noticed Kairi's reaction, considering he'd been too focused on his own. After he'd asked his question, Kairi had looked back at him, and started rattling off foods. The brunette could just picture himself with either pizza sauce, ketsup, or mustard all over his face. Okay, so maybe those weren't the best "clean" foods for a teenaged boy to eat. He scratched his head in thought. "Maybe we could try... uh... popcorn...? he suggested. He slapped himself mentally. That wasn't food! That was a snack. "Or maybe a sandwich or something." That was better.
Finally, the chocobos reached their stable and Sora hopped off his. He tied the reins to the fence and waited for Kairi to do the same. Once she had, he walked alongside her back out to the festival. They stepped outside and started towards the food booths. However, as he scanned the crowds for a familiar face, his gaze fell upon a black-haired girl. She looked a ton like Kairi had a couple years ago. He caught her eye and his hand snapped to his head. He grunted lightly and squeezed his eyes shut, his head tilting down slightly. He could remember everything just fine, which had been his first concern. But when he thought of Kairi... it was as if his memories were split, like someone else was just over his shoulder, "reading" his memories. He quickly shook his head and opened his eyes. He stared at the ravenette from a distance warily for a moment, then turned back to Kairi with a bright smile on his face. "Come on, the food booths are over here," he explained quickly, then took her hand and pulled her in that direction. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi listened as Sora sugguested some foods as well. "Mmm yeah a sandwich sounds good," the crimsonette replied thinking that that was probably one of the least messiest foods there. Shortly after that they reached the ranch and the stables for the chocobos. The Keybearer hopped off his chocobo, and tied the reins to the fence. Kairi slid off her chocobo and did the same. The Princess then gave the great, golden bird a big hug and said "Thank you for letting me ride you, and for being such a sweet chocobo. I had so much fun." The chocobo gave a squee, and Kairi smiled. She gave it one last pat on the neck, then she and Sora walked back out to the festival. They began wandering through the crowds, making their way to the food booths. Their nice calming chocobo ride seemed like it had been on a different world compared to the rest of the carnival. As they walked, the red head looked around to see if she' could spot any of their friends in the crowd. She didn't though so she turned back to Sora. When she did she gasped and her face grew full of concern. "Sora! Are you okay?!" Kairi exclaimed in a worried voice. The brunette was clutching his hand to his head. He grunted slightly, then squeezed his eyes shut and tilted his head downward. He didn't say anything, but after a moment he quickly shook his head then opened his eyes. The Keybearer started off into the distance for a second, and Kairi looked in the same direction trying to see what or who he was staring at. Nothing seemed to catch her eye though. She looked back at Sora and he turned back to her with a bright smile on his face. The Keyblade Master grabbed her hand and told her the food booths were over there, and then began pulling her in that direction. The crimsonette allowed herself to be pulled, but all the while she stared at the back of Sora spiky, brunette head, her face full of worry. What had just happened? Sora seemed fine now, but he definitely hadn't a few moments ago. When the two of them reached the food booths though and Sora faced Kairi, she turned her frown upside down. She smiled happily at Sora, not wanting to upset him even more with her worried face. "So did we decide on sandwiches then?" Kairi asked as she looked at what all the booths were selling. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora was a little worried that Kairi had seen his little mini-episode, but since she didn't ask him about it, he didn't dwell on it. She was asking about food again, so he guessed that he would just do the same. His mind was still partially on that girl that made him have flashbacks of his old memories with Kairi, but he pushed those thoughts aside. "Yeah, sure did," he replied with a smile. "There's a sub booth... and an everything booth... What kind of sandwich do you want?"
The brunette himself was kind of craving a hoagie, and when he spotted on the sub place's menu, he went straight for the line. He was still holding Kairi's wrist, so he unknowingly pulled her along with him. He felt the slight pull that came from tagging her along, so he laughed sheepishly and released her. "Sorry," he chuckled. "I kinda found what I want." He intended on paying for both his meal and hers, and he'd wait in both lines if she wanted a sandwich at the other place. He didn't say so, figuring she would know that, and he started digging through his many pouches looking for munny. He had a bunch of course, but it was a pain shifting through everything else he had to get to it. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Xion caught his eyes, Sora's eyes. But then he was gone, heading back into the crowd. The ravenette bit her lip and turned to the house of mirrors. Riku was taking a long time. She'd get back before him. The girl ran off quickly after the brunette and crimsonette. She found it a little difficult to push through the crowds after them but she managed and found herself trailing behind him by only a few feet. She stopped when he did, jumping into the line for food. What did she plan on doing now? She smiled as she watched him digging in his full pockets. A reel of laughter escaped her lips as he fumbled through them.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Sora pointed out that there were two different sandwich booths, and asked Kairi what kind of sandwich she wanted. Before the crimsonette could answer though Sora, who was still holding onto her hand, began walking towards the sub booth. Naturally Kairi followed. The brunette seemed to have forgotten he was holding on to her, and when he realized he was he gave a sheepish laugh, released her, and apologized. "That's okay Sora. I was going to say that I wanted a sub too," the red head laughed. The Keyblade Master then began digging into his many pouches. Kairi assumed he was looking for munny to pay for their lunch, and watched in amusement as Sora went through one pouch and then another. Kairi herself had a pouch which contained many things inside, but that was just one. The brunette hand so many more pouches then she did so she was sure he had tons more things in them. The Princess giggled then asked, "What all do you have in your pouches Sora? Is there a secret world in one of them that we never knew about?" Kairi laughed again then smiled and said, "I'm kidding. All joking aside now, would you like me to help you look?" We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora raised an eyebrow as Kairi mocked him for his pouches. Well, when you were saving the worlds, you had to have a lot of stuff. He kept things from Gummi Blocks to Potions in them, and each one had some genre of something in them. But he just kind of popped munny into them, since it wasn't usually his concern when he acquired it. Finally, the brunette managed to pull out enough munny for two subs. However, his glove caught on the Struggle Trophy he had once won in Twilight Town, and part of it came out of the pouch as well. He laughed, then shoved it back in. "Well, that's an example of what's in there," he laughed, rubbing the back of his head.
That was when he heard light laughter behind him. Confused, Sora turned around and gasped when he saw the ravenette from before. Her laugh reminded him very much of Kairi when she'd been younger. Involuntarily, he saw the memory of him and Kairi on the dock before the day of departure flash through his mind. He stared at the girl incredulously. "Who are you?" he asked, not meaning to sound rude. Although, the tone of his voice had a bit of a wary edge to it. Upon being closer to her, he saw that she very much had Kairi's eyes... or Kairi's face if that's how you wanted to look at it. She was much shorter than them, and looked as young as he'd thought she had. The boy crossed his arms and stared at her, trying to look indifferent as he waited for an answer. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Xion jumped slightly when Sora turned and addressed her. She hadn't planned on what to do if he had turned around or spoke to her. She looked over at Kairi and then him. he deserved something of an answer, right? She stared at him as he crossed his arms and then answered softly. "I'm Xion," the ravenette whispered. Sora looked older. But of course he would. Her memories of him and Kairi were from two or three years ago. She contoniued to stare at the two.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora was actually surprised by the young girl's real answer. It was kind of quiet, so she was probably a little taken aback by his snappy question. He guessed she must have been about Ari's age. He wondered if they were in any classes together. Xion, was that what she'd said her name was? Yes. Well, that didn't ring any bells. Her voice was similar to Kairi's, and he wondered if she noticed that too. He let out a sigh and looked around. This was a little more than awkward. He'd been expecting some sort of lie or something he could reply to. He was a little speechless, to be honest.
"I... uh-- Nice to meet you, Xion," he stammered his way through. The brunette sounded completely uncomfortable. He almost sounded nervous, but it was definitely a bit of shock and confusion. "I'm... Sora." He blanked and forgot to mention Kairi, which -- reflecting on it -- he supposed he could introduce herself if she wanted. His attention was torn from the ravenette as the guy behind the sub booth called for the next person. Sora quickly told him what he wanted as well as Kairi's order which he mostly guessed. As he was saying what his friend wanted, it was like he got it from a memory. This memory was very real, however, as if it had just happened. Once the man had gone to get what he'd asked for, he realized that what he thought he'd just been told was really a vague memory from long ago. "Oh, Kairi, I'm sorry!" he exclaimed. "I hope what I got you is all right. I completely zoned out!" He looked back at Xion. Had she brought this old memory of him and Kairi to life? What was going on? GO TO SCHOOL!?!

He seemed surprised. Why? She wondered. She just kept her eyes locked with his. She couldn't believe she was really talking to Sora. She smiled softly he he spoke again, stuttering a bit and blanking out but it was probably reasonable. It wasn't every day that you met someone like Xion. He spoke his name Sora. "I know," she whispered. She wasn't sure if he heard or not because he turned to the man behind the counter and asked for their food. Once the order was placed he promptly turned to apologize to Kairi.
Xion looked at the girl. She looked different too. Both had grown up tremendously. She felt Sora's eyes and looked back to him. His eyes were questioning and she looked away for a moment. Was her presence starting to effect his memories? "Maybe...I should go," she offered. If she was hurting Sorra or causing his memories stress, she would have to leave. Riku would make sure of it.
