Dangerous Sage

The bird pulled it's wings in and rolled, hardening it's feathers, but not before several blades of grass embedded themselves deeply into it's back and some parts of it's wings. Green droplets rained down around Reeve as the Acidic blood of the bird was spilled, still as it righted itself and opened it's wings once more the droplets started to trail off as the larger wounds rapidly scabbed over.

It turned from Reeve, gaining altitude rapidly before diving down with the black aura pushing it rapidly, it's wings closed until it was in melee range with Reeve when suddenly it's right wing would open and sharpen like a blade, aiming to cut him in two.

Fortunately, although quick, the bird's flight path makes it rather predictable. Reeve rolls neatly backward out of the way, flinging his arm out as he rights himself to blast out a shotgun-like flurry of foxfire.

The Aura flickered out and the bird tried to recover, only to plow fast into the ground, digging a long trench with it's body. It lay on the ground, un-moving, and once more seeming smaller without any signs of visible damage from the foxfire, even if it's landing seemed to have left it tangled in it's own wings.

He appeared, some might say, out of thin air, others, scientists mostly, would are that he had to have come from somewhere. tests would be ran, studies studied, but ultimately it would be abandoned for newer, more relevant inquiries. To the man, however, how he appeared was the least of his worries, what did concern him was how he was going to land. You see, the man was in mid-air, moving at high speeds, and head first no less. He barely had time to let out a gasp of shock before being thrust into the ground.
He struck the ground, face first, leaving a small path in the dirt as his face dragged across the dry earth. It wasn't until his path met with a good sized pebble that gravity, and that fickle thing known as momentum teamed up and delivered him hard onto his back. He lay there, motionless, staring up at the sky blankly, until, as quick as a flash, he was sitting up grabbing his face emitting sounds of general pain.
It quickly turned into amazement as he realized nothing, especially his face, was broken, though he was definitely sore. He glanced around, first left, then right, only to see a forest line before him. They looked familiar, at least if his eyes weren't deceiving him. He stood then, patting himself down. He stood easily over seven feet, and only more so once two big cat ears unfolded themselves and sprouted into the air, a four and half foot tail also seemed to uncurl itself from around his waist. He continued to stare at the forest, his ears twitched, and his nose sniffed.
Then it hit him, his eyes lit up with recognition and ge quickly turned, armed outstretched as if expecting a hug, but as he turned his ears drooped and his eyes went wide with shock and the debris in front of him. What had happened to the dojo?

He began walking about the debris, even stopping to pick up a piece of a board here or there, only to toss it aside in wonderment. Trying to find some clues as to who had happened upon the dojo, or what may have have transpired, but nothing seemed to willing to give up it's truth behind the matter. Were there still people around? Could they be hiding in the caverns below where the academy hid during the conflict with the Sai so may years ago?

That answer came apparent to him when he glanced across the field and saw a building still intact. Not only that, but there seemed to be several people over there, though none he could recognize, at least not from where he was. They apparently didnt see him, and until he was ready, he hoped not too be discovered. He knelt down, all he had to do was find where his old room had been, where he had left number of things for safe-keeping in the sturdy, forever thought to be impenetrable dojo. His own private entrance to the underground caverns was there as well, and if anyone was below ground, perhaps he'd find them?

Still, where his room was supposed to be was where a great deal of debris seemed to be as well, and there was no way he was going to be able to dig through it all without a little help that just might bring the wrong kind of attention to him. The last thing he needed really. Stil, it seemed it could not be helped. He gathered his chakra and formed a few hand signs before releasing it, allowing it too form with the wind. "Fusajin No Jutsu" he said calmly, placing more chakra than really needed into the technique to amplify it, and blast away more than dust and sand, but rather whole boards as well.

The consequences were that half the boards lifted into the air and clanked and clambered onto the ground about ten feet away, and it created a rather big dust cloud which would be able to be seen by many, Fujiwara didn't care, he was just interested in finding his own, makeshift, tunnel into the underground caverns.

As he dug he periodically glanced across the field, only to notice those at the smaller building seemed to be preoccupied to check on him. Perhaps he should go see what was happening over there? He shrugged then, he hadn't been too focused lately, and he had a few things he'd like to retrieve. If they were there of course. He rooted around more, but now the curiosity was getting the better of him. He stood and looked across once more, only to see a woman fall over. Frowning he figured it was either a trap to gt his attention, or something was happening.

It was time for him to get into trouble again.
