Have you tried either DayQuil or NiQuil yet?
Or . . . Cold-Eeze is good.
They're like cough drops that taste really icky, but they're supposed to cut your cold time in half.
I don't really like them, personally.
They make me sick to the stomach, but you could still try them.

I've taken DayQuil. I was going to get it at the store, but I didn't want to pay $13 for it. Man, cold medicine has gotten expensive...
