"Hello, Kuro." Mephlius smelled Kuro's entrance. His wet cloth covered his methane infected eyes. The cloth had begun to have some effect.

Amnity touched the cloth over Mephlius' eyes, "When can you take this off? Does it hurt love?" she asked, a bit concerned. Suddenly she caught what she had said and blushed, good thing Mephlius couldn't see.

"A little bit. Plus, I don't want to risk going blind or something." He noticed the cloth was drying out. "Excuse me a second..." He worked his way over to the sink. He took off the cloth, and looked at his eyes. They still looked a little bloodshot. He wrung out the cloth, dampened it again, and tied it back over his eyes. He worked his way back to his chair, and sat down.

Mephlius felt the awkward pause. "So..." I need a conversation topic! "Amnity. Why again were you here in the hospital?"

Amnity was thinking about something, then Mephlius broke her from her train of thought. "Hmm? Oh..." she thought of something quick. "Just a light cough, nothing too severe." God please forgive me for that lie...

God he's using that damn guilt trip again! And it was working. She didn't look at him, there was no need to, he couldn't see her. "It really was just a cough...With some blood because my lungs didn't fully recover yet that's all." Amnity said the last part a bit quickly, hoping he didn't catch it.

"The bullet hit the worst place possible, probably worse than hitting my heart. My lungs were unhealthy enough before they got shot, taking strong medicine just to keep myself from coughing when just a bit of smoke irritates them, having to frequently check up in hospitals when I was a child, I hated it!" Amnity sighed, "I run away from the doctors and hospitals a lot, If you guys weren't here I probably would have bolted by now."

Amnity hugged him back and buried her face in his shirt. "....I hope you'll get better...Is the eye thing serious?" she thought of the worse case scenario, him going blind. It wasn't THAT serious, at least he wouldn't to see her ugly face anymore.

"It's not serious at all. The methane should be mixing with the water in the cloth. At this point, my eyes are just slightly bloodshot." I can probably take it off now... and I really want to see her...

Amnity moved a bit closer to him, "Are you allowed to take it off now?" she asked, moving her hands to the cloth over his eyes. "...May I?"

Amnity gently took the cloth off, his eyes were a bit blood shot, but he was still strikingly handsome. "Does it hurt? Can you see well?" she asked softly, looking into his eyes.
