Rivven still had several feet between him and the man than he'd been given at other times, but less chance to protect himself. Flinging his arms up over the side and back of his head, he threw himself away and flat onto his face on the ground, hoping his coat was holding enough to keep some of it from peircing too deep. More flames flew about, his legs feeling burned again, and peices of the fragmention grenades emebedding themselves in his legs, or more shallowly in his back. Rivven squeezed his eyes shut as the explosions died down. "********... you're all just real damn anxious to die now, aren't you...?" he coughed, wiping blood from his lips. Rivven focused his chakra on his injuries, straining and forcing his cells to act more quickly, in this case to replicate. It forced the shallowest ones out, and pushed the others toward the surface, but it would heal over them if he forced it anymore, and he needed them out before he healed the wounds. This would also all leave him twice as tired and hungry as he'd normally be, making his body heal itself was incredibly taxing. Turning over, he forced himself to hands and knees, and caught his breath, coughing up small portions of blood, and making himself look around again. One at a time... but this has been a series of bad circumstance. Is there any more I can do? And am I capable of doing it right now? he spat the blood from his mouth, and got up slowly to one knee, feeling dizzy for a part of a second.

Joscelin mocked at the pitiful attempts of the man to harm him, even as the hand tried to gouge his eyes. The warmth of the energy flowed through his body, coursing through it and leaving nothing but bliss. "Fool, you think so much of yourself but you shall see all you know crumble before you." Tearing the hand away from his face it was now battered and small dripplets of blood swelled at the edges of his eyes. Driving into Jay, Joscelin grappled with him, wrapping the extended arm under his own before side stepping Jay to bring the arm back in a painfull lock. Pressure was applied with a steady hand.

((I've had a number of lectures on the subject, why do you bring it up now? Unless you refer to why the child was leaching your ki from you earlier.))
Jaq saw the round strike, "Tough b***h." he muttered as he chambered another round as Pale rushed him. Moving to cover he knelt to fire again. Constantly moving he made his way to her rushing form.

The ki acted like a large mass of matter, now in front of her. Her intentuion pure and simple was to use the mass not only as a shield against the bullets, but a way to smash his body against the wall.

Jay looked back as he saw the pressure being applied on his arm. Trying out a technique he'd been tinkering with would be risky. It involved breaking his own arm and then using his mana to reattach the bones back in place. Then again, he could always mess up and something wrong could happen. He looked back as he felt the painful lock on his arm and tried contemplating his next move.

((I thought there would only be 3 left if two just died ))

Capitalizing on the powerful magics in both the sword and her gun Ava swung hard into the sword with her gun. The result was a large explosion of light and sparks caused from the two magics colliding. The resulting force pushed Ava this time, sending her horizontally away from all the Kasumis' and flying past ruble from the former bar into a tree branch, she grasped with her hand and pulled herself upwards. She now stood and looked at her targets and wiped the newly formed blood from the hand she had used to get her here on the tree.

(ack, you're so right. It's three)
*Three Kasumi remained as the two shielded their eyes from the sudden sparks that erupted from the sword and the gun. They watched Ava swing up onto the tree and quickly the three of them scattered into the trees themselves. The silence took over the forest, and none of the Kasumi's made a sound as they closed in on their target.*

Ava felt immediately vulnerable in the woods as the Kasumi's followed her. Kasumi now had a terrible advantage between the trees and what was worse Ava suspected that she knew this. Ava knew she had to make it to clear ground to survive and dropped from the tree up high and pushed off the bark to a lower tree, then again to the ground on the soft grass she began to run forward, away from the bar and the rest of the battles. Ava continued to listen and look of signs of an ambush as she ran, suspecting an attack any second but unsure how to react.

Fischig watched the pike shater and form again before she plunged it into the ground to lever herself up. Raising his shield he met her kick and bracing his feet he slid before pushing back, throwing her off ballance. "Seems I was wrong you don't know how to use your weapon." To add weight to his words he brought his sword down in a motion that would cut her from shoulder to groin.
Just a blunt downward stroke? Easy to avoid even if her ki wasn't at such levels. Morgan dodged, metally rolling her eyes at this one. For the sword, well, her biggest desire was to break it and have him to play with as she pleased. And for general defense, she reformed the ki into a sword of her own.

*using the powers of paranoya to her advantage, Kas made every attempt to make sure it seemed like she had Ava surrounded by giving the occasional rustle while she moved about the treetops. Eventually she noticed Ava was making her escape and pushing deeper into the forest, a great place to finish their battle. Kas dropped down a few feet in front of Ava and began to perform hand signs, hoping she could get off a wind blade before the bullet fired*

Seeing how his shots weren't have the desired effect Jaq angled his gun down so that the rounds would strike where she would walk, flinging dirt and tiny bits of shrapenal. Shifting to his side he began a fall back slowly.

Joscelin forced more pressure, thrusting Jays arm up tell he heard the distinct pop of the bone tearing from its joint. Holding onto the limp arm he shifted his body so that he would throw Jay over him, using the held arm as a lever.

Bringing the sword back around he turned the downward swing into a spin, dropping low to the ground and adding momentum he swung it about her mid. An easy enough blow to block which she did. Fischig's face was set, "Good good, a simple fight would be no good." Seeing how he was limited he knew it was only a matter of time tell he could only rely upon the force of his will.

Jay grinded his teeth as he felt the bone pop from the joint. His arm went limp and all of a sudden he found himself being hurled over the man's shoulder. He landed hard onto the wooden ground, the intense pain in his arm and the fact that he hadn't recovered fully from Morgan's attack began to take a toll on his body. He flooded mana into his arm, in an attempt to possibly get it to fuse itself back in, but the attempt was in vein. He'd have to fight with one arm. And as he rose up from the ground, he awaited for the man's next attack, since it was obvious that he held the advantage

Ava jumped upwards to the side of her path as soon as she saw Kasumi, then she kicked off a tree to get even more height. Landing she trounced the unsuspecting Kasumi's skull and pushed up again. Ava was rather used to using everything in front of her as a path away from these trees and her attackers. Landing back on the ground she got to a clearing and turned around, looking expectantly for a set of Kasumi's to attack from all directions. Her movements had reopened all her wounds, her back and hips ached with pain. There was no escape from this battle.

Which would bring the match into her hands as she already had the most power she could remeber since...better to not give that any thought right now. It didn't matter why she felt so strong, just that she did. Angleing the blade down to his ribcage, she also positioned the sword breaker.

Joscelin rushed the man as he rose up, catching him by his bad arm he kicked his feet out from under him driving him back to the ground where Joscelin landed on him. With each movement his movements became slower and his breathing seem to grow weary the longer the combat prolonged itself. Eyes began to cloud and become unfocused.
