Darius layed there, still, unmoving, motionless. It was unknown to those around him that he was alive, but he still layed there as still as stone. The spirit of Darius was still waking up back in the body of it's owner.
Spiritual Transfer Healing was a type of healing that was hard to predict. It mightsave lives, it might not be enough. The soul c find it's owner, it might not. The body could live, or in fact the body could die. Many variables exist in the complex ability that is Spiritual Transfer Healing.

Lily stopped tapping his arm and ran her fingers slowly through his hair. "Darius please, you can't leave, not now......please. Please be ok." Lily has to nearly wisper this because it was taking all she had to choke back sobs that were lodged in her throat. Her heart refused to belive Darius was dead, but her head was telling her different, leaving her in torn state between just giving up and trying a little longer. After no responce over the course of what seemed like hours, but in fact it had been mere minutes. Lily tore her hand away from Darius, turned and lay on her belly, sheilding her eyes with her hands and let the sobs come and the tears flow.
After about five minutes Lily got up, a look of pure hate on her face. Lily remembered that Darth had done some light thing on Darius before he fell to the ground, and she automatically assumed that he had done this to her dear Darius. She was determined to go after him, but still didn't want to leave Darius's body here in the forest.....

Darius had now lain there for about ten to fifteen minutes, still not moving. What he had done was what some would call a sacrafice, others would say it was stupid, but nobody knew Darius's true reasons for using a technique that was so harsh on the body. Darius did not use this technique without good reason, the one time he had used it before was to stop the one he loved from dying, he had used it before on others in dire times, with varied amounts of success. Though he did not regret any single time when he had used this ability. It was always hard on him...
There was a sudden twich from Darius's hand.

Lily looked out into the forest, if she waited any longer night would have fallen and she'd have no way to find Darth. Maybe I should just-
Lily stopped. She fell back down to her knees next to Darius. His hand, it moved. A smile played on her lips. He was alive! Said the renewed spirit of her heart, still her head told her it was a trick of the light.
Lily took Darius hand and held it tight. "Darius....Darius I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can please, give me a sign that your ok.....please" Lily gave Darius's hand a squeeze as she lay herself all the way down next to Darius, propping her head up with her free hand.

Darius was essentially, unconcious he didn't move, but there seemed to be a slow rush of breath coming from Darius mouth. His eyes remained closed as he lay there today, it seemed, had been a succesful transfer.
Darius formed a small grip around Lily's hand, though Darius did not have any realization of who and where he was. Then a small sound came out of Darius's lips that was barely heard and done as unconciously as his hand loosley locked in her's.
"Lily" was what that wisper sounded like.

As Darius spoke her name- or at least what sounded like her name Lily felt like jumping up and celebrating, but she swallowed that thought and smiled at Darius. "Yes Darius, it's me- Lily." She smiled, realizing that the ground was probably very cold against Darius's head, so she carefully lifted his head and moved her body so when she brought his head down it rested on her stomache and her back was propped up against the trunk of a tree. One hand still clung to Darius's hand as the other was now slowly running fingers through his hair as she sat in silence, waiting for Darius to fully come too.

Darius did not wake as Lily moved him to the trunk of the tree. He layed against the tree for almost twenty more minutes while Lily wattched over him.
Then there was a silght shuffle of Darius's head, there was another light sound from Darius's lips and there seemed to be a shift in Darius's eyelids. It seemed that Darius was starting to stir.

Lily stayed very patient with Darius, talking....mostly to herself but if he awoke he was welcome to hear too. "You really had me worried there Darius, I thought you were gone. Promise you won't scare me like that again ok. And don't worry about this whole night thing comming we've been out after dark before, and let's face it, we know this forest like the back of our hands....but really Darius if you can hear me, when you are fully consious, no matter how long it takes, I have something important to ask you when you come too....." she smiled to herself as she was able to see Darius's head twich as she talked. Don't worry Darius, I'll wait all night if I have too...

Darius heard a voice speaking to him out loud. He did not know who it was at first, but it seemed familiar. To get reaquainted with the voice he opened his eyes, ever so slowly, revealing those radiant blue crystals that were the focal point in his face. He looked around for a second to see Lily standing there looking at him, he just stared into her eyes with a slightly dazed/confused look. He blinked a moment and smiled gentley.
"Lily," he said to her weakly, "How are you?"

Jess entered the clearing looking confused. Jess had been waiting in the courtyard for quite awhile now and Darius never reappear from out of the forest. She walked slowly and cautiously through the clearing till she saw 2 shadows in the dim light of the setting sun. "Lily? Darius?!" Jess ran to Darius's side, pushing Lily out of the way and kneeling down right next to Darius. "Oh my god Darius what happen? Are you ok Darius?" Jess turned on Lily. "How could you let this happen? I thought you loved him!" Jess of course was putting on a rather large act, still working on winning Darius's heart, but for some reason seeing Darius lay there helpless, it put a twang in her heart. Jess didn't understand why though because she had most certainly seen people lay motionless on the ground before. No doubt some of those people didn't survived and it had nevr bothered her before......Oh no, am I REALLY falling in love with him??

Lily smiled putting one finger to Daruis's lips. "Shhh Just rest Darius. But I am fine thanks, you still look a little pale though...." Lily's eyes beamed with what seemed like a light of their own, Darius was ok she knew that now and couldn't hide her joy. As she was talking to Darius she heard footsteps coming their way. Before she had time to turn completely she felt herself being pushed out of the way. She fell to the side rolling a little ways before she stopped and sat up to see who it was- she had assumed to see Joy but when she looked she saw Jessica. As Jess yelled at her and Lily took it to heart. How had she let this happen? She hadn't even tried to help.....she just stood there, like the stupid scared little girl she knew deep down she was. "I--I don't know....."

Darius blinked and smiled at Lily, "I bet I am a little pale. An outer body experience does that," he said that with a weak chuckle.
Darius then saw Jess coming in and start bringing down Lily, blaming her for what had happened. He wanted to say something to her but his mouth only formed a small sound like a moan. He sighed a weak sigh. He had a long day of recovery to go; at least Lily and Jess were there to help him.

Jess glared Lily's way before turning back to Darius. She smiled weakly, looking deep into his eyes. "Darius, is there anything you need? Anything at all, we can go get it for you..." Jess let her hand lay on top of Darius's hand and she gave it a small reasuring squeaze. "Don't worry Darius, I'm here now, just rest, you'll be fine."

Lily was about to move back to her position next to Darius, but Jess gave her a very hard warning glare. Maybe she's right.....maybe I don't stand a chance..... And with that Lily's fighting spirit dissapeared. She hung her head and stayed where she was, knowing Jess would want it that way. How could she have let this happen? She thought about the event over and over in her head trying to convince herself that there was nothing she could do, but no matter how hard she tried, the feeling of guilt hung over her. Maybe if she had tried, she could have done something. Jess wouldn't just stand there.....she'd have done something.....

Darius looked at Jess and smiled and then he looked at Lily. He was puzzled by what was happening to her. She had seemed to be looking a trifle down. He stared at her for a few minutes until he had fully read her emotions. He frowned andthen summoned a small amout of strength just so he coulkd talk.
"Lily," he said weakly, "It's not your fault, niether of you would have been able to help me, what I had done was my choice."
And with that he fell asleep.
