"Ayup!" she chirped brightly, sitting back down and crossing her legs, which seemed to feel a little watery for some reason, not weak, but not entirely stable. Better not to take any chances.
"And I don't care what you say about his cooking, it isn't as bad as mum's. And besides, even if it was, I could eat a horse right now. Live."

Jak pushed his hair back with a chuckle, nodding to Po as he accepted the plate. "We arent reduced to that yet, little one. Po is a pretty good hand at cooking, and french toast is his specialty. But..." he picked up his fork with a wink, "We wouldnt want him to get cocky about it, would we?"
Laughing, Po poured Jak a cup of coffee, then filled his own plate before pulling out a chair beside Canti.

((Sorry, got caught up on quest math. @_@ But, after a post in the apartment complex, Sammie must skitter off. Keshie, we can pick Suru and Laci up whenever you're ready. :3nid: Night Silvah, night Kesh. Much love homegrills.))
She took a big bite, and only half-chewed before swallowing and cheeping, softly, finally calmed down a little,
"See, told you. And this is awesome, just like I said it would be. So nyehhh."
She razzed Po, playfully, and fent about the buissness of devoring the plate before her, and nearly the literal plate it's self.

Po watched her eat with amusement, taking the empty plate from her and sliding his own in front of her. "A little bit hungry love?" he teased, reaching to brush her hair back from her face.
Laughing outright, Jak pushed his own plate across to her. "You look like you need this more than I do." Sitting back in his chair, he sipped slowly on his coffee.

As she finished, she was the polite, if hyperactive, perfect lady again, wiping stray syrup out of the corner of her mouth.
"It's all right, that was wnough. I was just really, really, really hungry last night for some reason. I dunno why, I mean, all I remember from last night is lying around in bed, so I wasn't all that energetic, obviously."

After walking for a while through the woods with Tessie, Rohan finally found his way to Opheliah's home. He looked the house over, took a deep breath, then moved around to the front. It would have seemed weird if they knocked at the backdoor. Swallowing down his nerves, Rohan knocked at the door and waited, still holding her hand without realizing it.

Tessie curled her hand tighter into his, taking a deep breath and fixing her hair in the refelxion of the glass of the screen door. She shivered, anxiously, biting into her bottom lip and squeezing his hand tighter.
"Please, please, please like me . . . . "
Canti looked up after fiishing the last of her French Toast, and tilted her head, slightly.
"Did you guys hear something? The door! Is there someone at the door? I think I heard knocking, did you guys hear that?"

Po wolfed down his own french toast with a grin. Standing, he dropped a light kiss on the top of her head. "You go get the door love. I'll clean this mess up." Picking up the plates, he walked to the sink, filling it with soapy water as he slid the sticky dishes in.
Jak finished his own plate and handed it to his brother before wandering off to the living room, stretching out on the couch with a yawn.

Suru's eyes widened, then snapped shut again as he groaned, softly, biting into his bottom lip and wrapping one hand around the back of her head tenderly, cradling it, the other around her back, murmuring, softly,
"Lucy . . . . ."
However much long later, he laid across his low bed, boxers tugged back on and an arm draped around the woman's waist, fingers curled around her hip, with just the tiniest, most desperate edge of need to keep her close.
"Ayah!"
She beamed, hopping up and giving Po a light kiss on the cheek as she trunced into the living room, throwing the door open. She stared at the girl for a moment and then let her eyes flick back and forth between her, and Rohan. After a long, long moment, she let out a happy, high-pitched sueal, lauching forward and throwing her arms around Tessie.
"OH MY GODS! YOU'RE HERE, YOU'RE HERE, YOU'RE HERE, YOU'RE HERE!!"
Tessie stiffened, staring into the house as the strange girl, her new sister, apparently, half-attacked her. After a moment, she glanced at Rohan with a terrified question in her eyes.

Rohan stood still when Canti answered the door. At first, he wasn't sure how she'd react and was going to say something until she nearly tackled Tessie to the ground. He gave Tessie a little shrug and a lopsided smile when she glaced his way. "I..uh..met Tessie a little while back and helped her find this place. She wasn't quite sure where it was or if someone was supposed to come find her." He left out the fact that he'd been hanging out with her since she first arrived so as not to get either of them in trouble.

Lacuna breathed heavily, resting her head on her lovely Suru's chest.
"I.. love you..", she managed to whisper through her slightly parted lips. She was tired, but mostly relaxed and nuzzled her Suru sweetly. She had now remembered why she waited so long for this to happen. The bliss she felt was uncomparable, that is unless you count her Jakkin. She finally felt at peace with her Suru.

Canti hopped back, tugging the girl in by her hand.
"Thank you, thank you, come in, come in! See, didn't I say you'd like her, I knew you would, come in! Jak, Po, my sister is heeere!"
Tessie followed her in, blushing brightly and tugging Rohan along behind her as well, clinging to his hand for dear, terrified life.
"I love you, too, Lucy-girl . . ."
He stroked her hair softly, sighing pleasantly and stretching his legs, just a little. When he heard the faint remnant of a high squeal, he paused and looked down and Lacuna.
"did you hear that?"

Rohan blushed at Canti's statement, just now remembering that she had said that he would. Funny how that worked out. He then squeaked when Tessie pulled him along but when feeling her death grip on his hand, he glanced at her. "It's okay Tess. I won't leave you alone," he whispered to her.
