Seph smiled back noting the many sword shaped fireworks flying into the sky "You need to hire the odd cleaner or get a load of dust sheets to throw over it then. Thats what I did with my house and my mountains of junk where you would be unable to move inside. I bet your house isn't that bad although you know that it will by highly tempting to snoop" she joked.
Hebal gasped "Hey Zadina I'll have you know Amane doesn't have cooties, shes lovely and germ free" she snickered as she applauded the fireworks "Take us to see the moogle gadgets and royals too for a nice little holiday. I would be so tempted to randomly drop kupo nuts all over the streets of Goug just to see what would happen. If you take me, I'll take you in return to a really awesome viera forest"
Alpha couldn't help but roll his eyes "Sounds like a lot of thieves have been getting softer with all the guilds for protection. But your a competant bunch, I think you would get on fine on your own and adapt easily if you were to stay put. But not all thieves and gangs are bothered about murder. then theres some who allow it but give members a penalty or something for it although..." he hesitated making sure Itaka wasn't listening, "what was Itaka like as a guild leader, I mean theres nothing about him that says thief to me"

Felina shook her head "Elithana has her own unit in the army now which are expected to look after her when not having to fight people which is how she met Udoaver. Also with friends like hers who could possibly need bodyguards" she shuddered recalling the big and somewhat intimidating companions of her sister. "Corella on the other hand, she has no fighting experience or anything like that so couldn't defend herself as easily should she get into trouble"
Satoshi muttered an "oooh" in surprised that fireworks could be made into so many different shapes. "Sure sounds like a good plan and hopefully I wouldn't do something silly infront of the royals without realising. Though I have always wanted to ask a moogle why and what it feels like to go nuts over kupo nuts, excuse the pun" she answered privatelty thinking she would be tempted to carry out Hebal's idea.

Oassu snickered "It's kinda cute how inexperienced she is but didn't she fight along with everyone else in the battle?" he asked "She wouldn't have absolutely no experience then but yeah I can understand why her bodyguard is tough on her if she's not smart about the world" he said.
Gil smiled "Sure you'd be fine in front of them, you might even get to cuddle them if you behave well enough" he said to Satoshi "Though I don't think they can adequately describe their obsession for kupo nuts, I asked one once and they just babbled lots of 'kupos' which I couldn't understand" he said.
Itaka nodded spotting a sword vaguely reminiscent of his own sword "The staff keeps most of the place tidy and they'll tidy the bedroom if I send them some notice I'm coming back" he said "Though I don't spend much time in the farmhouse so you won't find much if you snoop around there" he said.
Zadina giggled "I'm sure Miss Amane is super fine though I don't think that's a very nice thing to do to the moogles....some of them would be trying to do jobs and stuff and would be interrupted in a big scramble to get the kupo nuts" he said.
Jenna shook her head "You never stopped to think Guilds are an adaptation? As security gets better and people get more organised we had to as well silly" she said thinking Alpha didn't really understand the difficulties of solo stealing.
Barbaros shrugged "He's kinda secretive, makes a good leader of thieves even if he ain't much of one himself, gives a bunch of thieves a house and organises them well enough to earn a profit" he said "I was more or less the go-to guy for our guild since Itaka didn't really interact with the guild much other than the big important deals." he said

Seph snickered "If there anything within your room in that case to tidy, or will things just be a little on the dusty side? Can't be doing too badly for money and things to still have your own staff/servants. Though what are the chances of any random thief guild members showing up at the door since I don't feel like sharing you" she wondered seeing the fireworks building up to the grand finale.
Alpha yawned watching the firework that took the shape of Bahamut in the sky "Sure theres organisation but I mean as independant thieves you should adapt more. Those who go solo from my experence turn out to be some of the better thieves. Personally I would rather know who I was working for if I joined an organisation but so long as the members were happy. Why the secrecy anyway?"
Hebal nodded cheering at the firework "Yeah I suppose so, but I can always make a dream scenario and some might be happy so long as they get pleanty to eat. I would so have to take Amane to the moogle city. It would be a perfect adventure and she's only seen one or two mognet moogles ever. And then the moogle royals can shower us with gifts and shiny things" she planned out.

Felina paused quickly trying to remember what happened at the battle "Corella and Alusaadi did not participate in the battle. Dad did near the front lines and Elithana was put in charge of defending the castle and leading people to believe he was hiding inside. Corella is a white mage and not as good as me with a weapon and there was no way dad would risk his wife and unborn child getting hurt" she explained.
Satoshi laughed imagining the scene "Those nuts are just wonderful beyond description in that case. But is there anything I need to know in advance in order to stay well behaved in front of the royals due to cultre issues" she asked snuggling one of Gil's lower arms. "Just think, when Amane is old enough to go on pilgrimage she'll have seen more places than all of us put together"

Oassu nodded "I guess that makes sense good to keep the family protected though it was fortunate how no one really got hurt" he said stretching out "Though the city got levelled but at least he couldn't hurt the royal family or anyone we knew" he said.
Gil scratched his chin "Don't scare the kids, the current queen has quite a large litter of kids and she's very protective of them so they stay with her at all times, you'll probably be fine to play with them so long as your nice though" he said remembering the last time he saw her surrounded by a cloud of fluff.
Itaka shrugged "A chest of clothes maybe, some swords, but no guild members know where it is, except Barbaros and it's not near enough Agralia city for him to casually visit anyway" he said "So you can have me all to yourself anyway" he smirked kissing Seph.
Barbaros shrugged "He's just like that plus it's not too good to be found leader of a thieves guild you know?" he said "Best if he can claim to be unconnected to it should something really bad happen, that's how he's managed to maintain some of his assets after Alex cracked down on the guilds unlike Oassu's guild" he added with a quiet laugh.
Jenna grunted "Yeah we're poor now, Oassu may not show it but really everything he picks up while travelling is all he has, whereas I've swiped and stolen to support myself on the way here" she said irritated "Fortunately we've earned enough so I won't need to live in poverty when we go back" she said.
Zadina nodded "It's going to be so fun travelling with Miss Amane though I don't know if the moogle King and Queen will just shower us with gifts while we've not done anything for them, will be nice to establish some royal relationships with them, Goug is so far from Yithra we don't really interact much" he said

Alpha frowned a little glancing over at Oassu with Felina "But wouldn't you get in more trouble if your name popped up amongst the authorities rather than Itaka's? And Is it really that bad then? Last time I checked Oassu picked up a big sack full of diamonds from a magic pot so can't be too bad off unless he was spending silly. Though if you need a little extra cash that bad I know a guy who could help you out, he's a smuggler not a thief but is always looking for a few extra hands"
Seph grinned returning the kiss missing the fireworks that made the shape of the city in rainbow colours "Well then thats great as I thought your farm would have been fairly close to Agralia. Should fill your house up a little more with other stuff you've picked up from our travels, give the rooms a bit more character" she suggested.
Hebal let out a small squeak "Aww they sound adorable already, I hope she wouldn't mind If I rounded them all up into a huge hug. Hasn't your uncle Elorin managed to invite the royal moogles over for tea sometime? And maybe not shower us personally but since Gil is so popular with them you never know"

Felina groaned "There were pleanty casualties about the city and so many homes were destroyed. That in a way destroys lives too. But your right it could have been worse and I'm glad Elithana and dad got away with a few cuts and bruises. But please don't get annoyed if you hear lots of talk about the two of us getting married and people maing a big fuss. It's just another way to keep spirits high while the rebuilding goes on" she advised looking down at her stomach where her scar was hidden.
Satoshi smiled letting out a small "aww" while she watched the fireworks "Now that would be a cute sight seeing all those but I would like to think I wouldn't be scary to them I don't look intimidating or anything like that" she shrugged guessing Hebal's hugs on the other hand might scare them a little.

Oassu nodded stroking Felina's shoulders "Hey it's fine it'll be a lovely celebration and so long as everyone looks at it positively and not negatively because I'm not an elf" he said nuzzling her "Quite an impressive finale don't you think?" he said clapping along with the entire audience.
Gil smiled clapping as he finished his cake "Sure though they'll be a bit grown up by the time I get back there I imagine, though you'd need to find a trusting moogle mama to let you near her kids, moogle babies are kinda delicate" he said.
Barbaros shrugged "I'm not listed as the leader and sure we can all get in trouble if our names are revealed but we don't keep lists of our staff in case we get busted and it reveals our members" he said clapping at the grand finale "Man must've been expensive to make a firework with those effects.
Jenna nodded letting out a whistle at the performance "Well that's what I mean, he has to live off whatever he finds while adventuring, no backup funds to speak of as it stands right now" she said applauding heartily at the performance.
Itaka smiled "Wow nice, but I don't pick up that many souvenirs, not exactly gonna have loads of trophies on my walls and whatnot" he said "But you can help decorate a few things around the house if you like, sure you've got a load of junk in your house you'd like to show off." he said.
Zadina shook his head "I'm not sure where but I'm told Goug is reaally far away so it's just too much hassle for us to meet with Moogle royalty often, though they do occasionally but never frequently" he said "Though I'm sure they would treat you nicely being a good friend of Sir Gil's" he added.

Seph chuckled "Well not everything I own is something you would want to show off but sure, I could decorate your house a little with some good old Seph touches. I pretty much gave up on decorating mine so gives me a nice activity to do some time. Whether or not you'll appreciate say... dragon skull on your wall however is another matter"
Alpha yawned joining in the applause "Nah most places don't but all it takes is one little squealer to get caught and all sorts of names get thrown at the authorities. Gotta watch out for those ones. But Oassu will be fine, he's got the bank of miss Visara to help him live confortably in future which is better than what most people get" he assured Jenna knowing Felina would help out if need be.
Hebal cheered and whistled regardless of the fast that nobody outside would be able to hear them "yay yay those fireworks were epic and made a huge bang everytime they went off" she sung picking herself up from the floor. "Thats a shame considering how nice you elves and moogles are. But what did you do Gil to make them love you so much? And do you have one of those lovely little moogle flutes given specially to you?"

Felina nodded applauding as the judgemaster came out to make a closing speech once the crowd had died down a little "Well theres mixed views, some people think its a little funny I won't deny but others think its a lovely little fairytale romance. Like in that story... Aladdin or something. But yes the colours were really beautiful, I've never seen fireworks anywhere near as good as those before not that I have seen that many displays"
Satoshi sighed a little disappointed the ceremony had ended "I know to be gentle if I ever get the chance to get near the little moogles. Be it moogle, human, bangaa or whaever you still have to be gentle with the little ones" she satated with a small clap seeing as nobody else would be able to see or hear. "Should count yourself lucky, my country doesn't so much as look at any other country and its royalty and the moogles in general are a rare sight"

Oassu frowned "I hope they aren't thinking of it as Aladdin-like otherwise it'll give away my idenity as a thief to your father and mother, and I'd rather she didn't know just yet, at least until it's too late for her to interfere in anyway, who knows what she might do while she's all hormonal" he said looking on at the Judgemaster as silence fell.
Gil smiled "Yeah but especially moogles, since they are just like so much puff and fluff" he said remembering them fondly "Still does your country even operate with Mognet? Wouldn't that give away your position a little bit?" he asked before turning to Hebal "I saved their kingdom from being attacked by an evil moogle-hating magician who was threatening to seal them in some other dimension called 'the void' or something" he said.
Itaka chuckled "Dragon skull would be quite nice though I'd rather sell it for the profit or craft it into say a chair, though didn't really know you cared for decorating at all" he said hoping she wouldn't turn his house into a loot dump like hers "Though wonder what she's got to say" he whispered giving the Judgemaster his attention.
Barbaros shrugged "Well like I said, thieves guilds operated secretly, if someone had squealed and given away our location there was always a front to protect us and we could just claim ignorance, not that it ever happened mind though there was this one time-" he said stopping abruptly as Jenna shushed him so the Judgemaster could speak.
Zadina giggled "Yeah it's an epic story about Sir Gil's battle against the evil lord Deathex some versions even have him marrying the moogle princess at the end" he said to which Gil laughed nervously "Which didn't happen" Gil added to Satoshi.

Seph rolled her eyes "Think of the dragon skull as a trophy to put up on the wall and then make the chair out of something more interesting or I could just fetch you some nice wooden chairs made from ironbark. Dragons make rubbish furnature. Still lets hear this tournament conclusion"
Alpha chuckled whispering "Its just gonna be the bog standard thanks for coming speech and one or two notices I'll bet, won't mention anything on the corruption. Tell me about what happened that one time when it's over and we need to think about rounding everyone up and getting em on the right airships and whatever"
Hebal giggled hearing the story "If he did then it was a very short marriage that got an annulment. Though that story does sound epic, like the ones we weren't allowed to read when I was growing up but snuck around and did anyway. And who on earth would be a moogle hater, that wizard must have had serious issues to consider attacking the lovely creatures!"

Felina smiled shrugging her shoulders "She can't exactly stop us from getting married and she can't just exile you out the country. And when she does find out let us be even more greatful that my dad is a significantly more open minded person than she is. But you now what I mean, nice little rags to riches stories give people hope of more awesome lives themselves" she whispered.
Satoshi smirked "Well he better not be married to the moogle princess or one day she'll mysteriously disappear off into the night with a little bit of help from the odd ninja" she joked looking to the sidescreen and its close up of the judgemaster. "Sure my country has mognet, its just that the nina villages don't tend to use it. We use birds mostly or just deliver them ourselves depending on importance"
Evori cleared her throat seeing the crowd was quiet enough "Good evening everyone and thanks for coming to the ceremony. First of all I would like to announce that 70% of the ceremony profits are to be donated this year to assist the plague victims in the Issormi desert and I think its safe to say you've raised quite the huge sum between you" she first told them alternating between the grian language and Agralian. "Secondly we would like to thank all you spectators and competitors for coming, it has been an interesting year and congratulations to Gilgamesh for winning the tournament along with the runners up; Aechotiau who came secons and Mari who came third" she went on indicating to the box Gil was sitting in along with the area of the crowd where the distinctive mask could be seen.

Oassu smirked "I suppose so though people will probably prefer your sister's story about her husband than yours seeing as he's elven but alright though would be good if I could persuade her to like me" he said quietly listening in on the speech glad that some money had went to charity.
Gil shook his head "Sounds like someone has been exaggerating the tales, will need to find them and have a stern word with them seeing as the moogle kingdom doesn't even have a princess eligible for marriage yet." he said scratching his chin "Think the 4 princesses are only 1 anyway "But that explains a few things, would it mean if I sent you a letter and you were in the village it wouldn't get to you?" he asked.
Itaka nodded applauding politely with the crowd as the winners were mentioned "Maybe I've sorely underestimated Mari, she managed to beat that little armoured dude and he was tough enough to beat me..." he said scratching her chin "Should spar with her some time but alright, you could just tinker around with the house however you liked" he said.
Zadina nodded "Must hate cute things if he wanted to attack moogles but what stories were you not allowed to read as a child Miss Hebal? Also what is an annulment Miss Hebal?" he asked unfamiliar with the term and what it meant.
