Oh how fun it is to be a man sometimes, always having to be kind and sweet and yet he would have to keep himself in check so he wouldn't scare the woman he is with, plus a lot of other things piled on top of that; oh yes it's fun to be a man sometimes. Well it's not like Arthur was forced to be that way, he just wanted to give Isle a nice time while she stayed in the Underdark for now, so when she told him that she wanted fish he thought about it for a second and nodded. "Yeah we do, if we don't have a certain kind of fish we probably import it." A light shrug on the last part of his comment before he blushed again when she asked him if he was going to cook it himself. "Of course I was going to I'm not as lazy as you think I am Isle...just give me a bit and I'll have your dinner ready." Though he paused for a moment to tink of what else she may want to eat. "Anything else you want with the fish and what do you want to drink?"

Leaf once agian, followed. She didn't fall thought the floor, so she figured that the pitfal at the begining of this little edvanture was probalby an elaborite (or sloppy...) set up. She looked around the alter, askiing warily, "Who was your first friend?"

She didn't see anything that would look like a pure element.

She waited a moment or two before she got herself up, pushing her top cape over her shoulders so that it was out of her way, the weight of the ameythst crystals on the corners keeping as such as she walked up to Galesen and then past him and into the kitchen. "Oh come now, did you really think that I was going to let you cook everything?" More or less shooing the kitchen staff over some so her and Galesen would have some room. Though she did get funny looks about it. "Hm, well back home I always have some type of potatoe and a bread of sorts. And I guess some type of wine would be nice." Said as she was pulling of one gray leather glove and shoving it in her pocket, then unbuckling the longer brown leather on the opposing arm, shoving that in her other pocket.

Fin looked as misplaced as Leaf on this matter, and he placed most of his attention on the naga.

"Frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriend. Come out and Say hello to my New Friends. They LOOOOOOOOOOOVE me." The serpintine voice chanted.

Fin started to believe that he was not placing his trust in the most sane of creature, but when the ground started to vibrate with a soft hum Fin retracked his doubt. The floor glowed wtih a rather arcaic symbol, a circle which had many interlocking shaps and images. The symbol emited a bright column of light, which seemed only to brighten the area inside the circle, and suddenly stopped.

Standing in the centre of the symbol, was a very decayed an unhappy looking lich. "Who dare steal my one and only love, Speak now or forever shall I hold you in pieces." The ancient voice spoke fluently in teh modern language, it was as though the creature spoke it naturally or from birth. The sound of the voice is comparable to the soft gleam of ice covering a hotspring in the most inhospitable of environements. Clad in robes which seemed to be blacker than the darkest hole in the Abyss, with bright star-like acents which seemed to draw out a picture of the universe about him. IF you held him to the nigt sky, he'd appear but a head and hand floating amonst the celestial bodies. The most prominent feature, despite the magical appearance, were the two glowing orange orbs that sat in the eye sockets of the lich's face.

Moonstone blinked. "Wake me up? You did, but that's all right. I hold strange hours ebcause of the clinic." The upstairs appartment was a regula bachelor mess. Papers (looking alot like paperwork of some kind) was strewn all over the appartment, on tables, coutners, and floorspace. There were filing cabnets scattered around the room, although the small area around his nest was clean. The nest? A bed made of soft pieces of cloth and molted feathers. Looked comfy. "I'd appologize for the mess, but I can't say I'm really sorry that you had to see it." He sat down at his table (he only had one extra chair) and offere coffe and seaweed. He yawned. "So, why did Deidrick drop you off on my doorstep?"

Leaf stared at the lich with an expressionless face, one hand on Fin's shirt sleeve. Not for support, but to keep the elf from running away.

"We are simply friends, sir lich. Not lovers. We asked the Naga to show us where the Pure Element is, and the naga has led us to you."

She had to blink af ew times to rid her eyes of that image of the thing's cloak, it was mesmerizing in a strange way. She did not understand that flecks of light that drifted across the dark fabric and felt compelled to look at it.

Arthur blinked a few times when Isle suddenly got up and made her way over to the kitchen saying that she wasn't going to let him cook everything, a light shrug as he followed while everyone else in the kitchen was shooed away when they entered it. "Well I wouldn't of mind really, I'm a pretty good cook and I cook for myself most of the time so making dinner for someone else would of been fun for me." Well since it seemed that Isle wanted to cook her own dinner as well he couldn't argue with her, he then began to take off his leather gloves followed by his coat so he wouldn't have to roll up his sleeves. "Well that doesn't sound bad...as for wine..." He looked around the room at all the bottles and paused for a second before reaching over ad grabbing one. "I think this will do..." Taking out the cork the elf raised the bottle to his nose and took a sniff before passing it to Isle. "Take a smell and see if you like it." He told her as he went around grabbing some potatoes.

Fin had long since fallen into the mezmorizing robe when Leaf gripped his arm. He realized words were spoken somewhere between 'Naga and You'. He looked up and noticed the eyes, and felt very worried.

"Oh, so my sweetheart is not good enough to be your lover." The lich placed his arms at a comfortable and low distance from his hips and turned his palms to face the two elves. Glowing orange balls of energy appeared in each hand.

"I think-" Fin started to talk when the Lich leaped into action. The two arms shoto towards the pair of elves, releasing the balls of energy. Fin literally pushed Leaf out of the way, and took the brunt of the attack. His armour made a very sharpe metalic grinding noise, before a chunk of metal shattered away from the elf's side. Fin fell to the ground, but rolled to his feat, drawing out his sword.

The naga stared, before deciding that he should take a side, but he hesitated, and did not move.

Leaf stumbled after being pushed, doing no more damage than scraping a knee. She had been about to try more of the talking thing, but that obviously wasn't working. She drew a light short sword from her array that never seemed to fit just right.

She looked to the naga, then to the lich. Any comment of hers might just upset the creature more....and with her wonderful verbal deliverance she was more liekly to cause harm than good.

She hadn't realized that battle instinct had taken over in her less than a second of thought before she realized that she had thrown several sharpened disks (like ninja stars) towards the lich.

Aella was in a chair, darning a leather shine protector. The stitching had come loose. "All the fun?"

"Yes but what fun would I have sitting around at a table. I'd rather put my little blue tipped fingers to work rather than tap them idly on a table top." Plain and simple wasn't it? Then again that was Isleandra for you. That said she unhooked her cross belts and all the junk attached and set it aside in a random spot in the area, making sure it was all out of her way. Looking to Galesen, she took the bottle from him and gave it a sniff. "Seems good, let's get this going." Setting the bottle aside then and going about other things A little asking of kitchen staff to where things were in the place and soon they both had a dinner well on it's way.

The sharpe disks flung at the lich, and an ex-scout followed them. The lich slapped the disks asside with a swipe of his hand, one or two firmly imbeded themselves into it, and he did not seem to mind or care. Fin thrust his sword on a curving upwards angle, trying to catch the under side of the lich's left rib cage with the edge of his sword, hoping to sever the bones and cut into the 'gooey centre'. But, the lich caught the sword, and stopped Fin dead in his traks.

"Foolish..." The lich seemd to not know what to call Fin, "Swordsman." he decided upon, as he lifted the sword into the air, elf and all. Tossing it to the side, the lich focused on the less vulnerable Leaf. "Die." He said with a rather promising tone. He pointed a finger at Leaf, and relased a barrage of magical missles shapped like miniuture meteors.

The naga sprang after Fin, and tried to bit the elf, but instead got a face full of dwarvish long sword. The creature stopped dead in its tracks, two third up the blade.

"Oh indeed. Malik and Piper had a kid! a little mini Malik. and he's about as sour pussed as his father. stubborn too. but he's cute anyway cause he's a toddler. What happened to that? lack of use? did you do something you wasn't supposed to? Why didn't you come say hello?"

He had to pause for a moment to think over what Isle just pointed out to him, even if it was just for a short bit he understood what she meant, so with a little nod and a "I see." he watched as she unhooked her belts and placed them aside so they could start to make dinner for themselves. Once she was ready and once they got a little help from the kitchen staff they went over what they needed then went straight to work; as Isle peeled the potatoes Arthur took the liberty by cleaning the fish and hat not to get it ready to be cooked, taking out the bones, cutting the fish into good thick pieces and what not; though there were times when Isle may wanted to try her hand at the fish so he allowed her too just for fun. While the potatoes boiled in a pot Arthur started to cook the fish in a pan, allowing the smell of seafood to fill the room. "That smells good doesn't it?" He asked as his nosie took another sniff.

Once, Leaf had refused the offer of a good sheild. She knew then that she'd regret it. Now was that time. She hoped the missiles were simply stone as the imitated, she dodged but was struck in the already injured kneww by one of the missiles. She swore, ignored the blood.

She pulled out her bow and strung it, aimed for one of the lich's eyes and released. After which, she took cover behind the large Naga body.

"No kidding?" She seemed at least genuinly interested. "Did he meet Tarathiel? It mgiht eb nice if he had soemone closer to his own age to play with."

She held up the shin gaurd. "This? I nicked it on the corner of a table a little while ago and knocked the stitching loose, been meaning to fix it." She shrugged. "I dunno. Pleasantries are boring, and I have very little to say to them." Could say she liked or disliked them, just didn't have much in common to speak about.

"As far as I know he did...I don't think they hit it off very well. but that can be changed, I think. you shoulda came down and seen him."

A bit of a pout, then a look at the shin guard.

"Could stud it, make it a little more sturdy. Dad taught us how to do that kind of thing. course he used bones, but hey, I'm sure something would work."
