Seph shook her head "Its not that, I like the show but these chairs aren't exactly comfortable on the tail. It makes it a little on the itchy side" she explained giving it a good scratch. Surely when older you would have been able to beat the big bad monsters too? I know I had to kill them off from time to time in order to protect the chocobos"
Hebal smiled rubbing her ear as she tried to explain "Well sure it would be nice to have a son sometime but would have to be with someone who wasn't viera to be allowed to bring it up accoriding to our law which I don't know the origins of. The thing with Melanae's parents is a very rare scenario caused by events I probably shouldn't discuss. Still I'm happy knowing that Amane and my other kid's day is a decent enough guy, a little stubborn and big headed but nice deep down" she quietly added.
Alpha laughed unconvinced "I dunno about that one, acrobatics is hardly a useful skill for I dunno working in an office for example. They dont tend to fly about making dragon formations either though you should see some of her colleagues, apparently one of them is a mime, like a proper mime that can copy just about anything you do"

Felina smiled more than happy to return the kiss "I meant in general flying and playing at the same time. Meaning when flying casually through the air not just in Kunec with stuff below. Things hurt when dropped from great heights because of the speed in which gravity pulls them down" she lectured him as she placed an arm around his shoulders "The lack of heat coming from the flames is the big giveaway its fake I think"
Satoshi raised her eyebrow even more surprised by Hebal's mutterings "You make it sound like you knew the guy or at least got on with him on very good terms. What do you actually do when you go to the male viera villages. Is it all just business or do you actually get to stay there a while like a holiday" she wondered trying to work out how many different races she could spot in a few seconds "Demons are so rare nowerdays you can spot them a mile off and I hear blue hair is rare in evles now"

Oassu nodded "Well that's kinda a proper concern but I'm sure they've got something figured out for it otherwise everyone would be complaining about dropped objects from Kunec hurting their people." he said figuring they had something in place to protect against random objects "And yeah he's probably fine" he said snuggling Felina.
Gil frowned knowing the answer to Satoshi's question but waiting to see what Hebal's answer was "Well sure it's a royal trait for the elves I think which is why barely any have them as far as I know" he said with a shrug "Though demons will become more popular or at least half breeds will as the hatred from the wars dies down" he said.
Itaka nodded laying Seph's tail on his lap and stroking it "Nope didn't need to and your farm must've been cheap not to have some protection for the chocobos" he said "Guards do that stuff so we don't have to and monsters learn to avoid most cities now well at least until that abyss incident" he said.
Zadina scratched his head "I wonder why Melanae gets to keep both her parents" he said "And it would be nice to meet Amane's brother sometime, is he older or younger than her?" he asked out of curiosity.
Jenna shook her head "Hey acrobatics is great, helpful for trying to avoid stabs and stuff and escape by freerunning over small buildings, Oassu is great at stuff like that, guess that's why he's a ninja now" she said shrugging looking away noting Oassu and Felina smooching
Barbaros smiled "REally? A Real mime? What a rare gift though I hear there's a limit to how much they can copy at once but still having abilities like that must make him useful to the team" he said wondering what he would do if he was a mime.

Seoh sighed glad that her tail was being payed attention to "Ahh thats nice... the guards didn't exactly like me so I was pretty much at the very bottom of their priority lists when it came to helping out. I think its because I had that rebellious badly behaved teen image going on when I was younger. Also depends on the intelligence and size of the monster as to whether they would try their luck attacking a town or city"
Alpha nodded taking a quick glance at Oassu then politely redirected hs gaze seeing what they were doing "Thats right and also, they are limited by the physical stuff too. Can't teach a man to fly if they don't have the wings afterall. The dude is popular enough considering he can cover for pretty much every member of the group so long as he pointed out fighting back a small yawn. "What about you Jenna, ever thought of being a ninja too?"
Hebal giggled thining the answer was obvious "Well there not much to say other than you go to the other village, meet a few boy viera. Say hi and all that... and then decide if any of them are ready or mature enough to look after a kid over a couple of days. Amane's brother wold be nearly 3 years older than her if remember correctly. Its kinda hard to remember exact dates" she shrugged hoping she had gone into enough detail.

Felina paused failing to bring up a word map in her head "That is unless Kunec is directly above the ocean in which case what at the odds of a ship sailing directly beneath. My world geography is terrible considering all the different places we have travelled to, I should have a way better idea by now" she added feeling embarrassed by her lack of knowledge.
"If you say so. But I would think that the less human looking the demons are, the less likely people will accept them in society regardless of time since the war" Satoshi answered cynically. "The rest of Felina's family look pretty with their pink hair which isn't that common either. Though wouldn't it be funny if your son ended up being like a male version of you with your energy and positivity. Ahh I dunno how you viera do it. I think I would go crazy in an all girl society" she sighed,

Oassu scratched his head "I kinda assumed the city moved with all that technology, didn't think it stayed in the same spot, still would make it kinda hard to find if it kept relocating." he said petting Cid "And don't worry so much it's not like we're the ones responsible for getting from A to B I bet Alpha has a good mental map" he said.
Gil shrugged "Well here's my point, consider Seph, she is in her full demon form and she looks plenty human, now if demons continue breeding with humans elves dwarves races of this world the demonic genes will get fewer and further between so they'll blend into society fine" he said
Itaka grinned "Yeah you were a bit like that I guess" he whispered "Big monsters generally didn't live near big towns....whether that was the decision of the monster or the town founders I don't know but either way I'm glad, towns get destroyed when monsters start mobilising as a force" he said.
Jenna shook her head "Don't exactly know how, unless I asked a ninja to train me I guess but no I'm not interested, it was hard enough learning to use a lance from chocoboback so I'll be fine with my skills as they are now" she said.
Barbaros chuckled "Yeah that's right she kept dropping it for ages at the start of our trip fortunately Agralia's fiends aren't strong otherwise mighta been in trouble if she couldn't get the hang of it before we got into dangerous territory" he said.
Zadina frowned "It's a shame you and the boy Viera don't get on better, it's fun spending time with both girls and boys since they can all play things and stuff" he said "We should go and kidnap your little boy sometime for a fun holiday" he giggled.

Seph smirked "I'm pretty sure that the fiends decided that the risk of people ripping them apart was not worth the risk of a light human snack. Why do you think towns and cities are always built with walls of with pleanty guards. Plus not all big monsters eat meat or will eat anything so forests are more ideal" she pointed out knowing that marlboros weren't food fussy"
Alpha scratched his head noting the musicians diving to the arena ground symbolising that that dragon had been killed as the song ended "Was it really that hard? I would have thought it would simply be a case of balencing on the chocobo while holding out one of those lances in front of you"
Hebal gasped shaking her head "No no no thats a bad idea Zadina. Apart from the fact thats illegal, he wouldn't even know who I was and probably wouldn't care that I was his mum if he did know. I could be booted out of viera society for pulling a stunt like that" she explained, stopping and giving Zadina a hug hoping she hadn't accidentally upset him. "But the thought is nice. In the mean time, your welcome to be an unofficial member of the Atano family" she offered.

Felina nodded trying to recall Alpha navigating "I think he has a big world map himself but if Kunec was always moving around there would be no way that it could maintain so many transport links to other places. Ahh just so long as I know the way home from wherever I go I guess I'll be happy. I don't like the feeling of being lost"
Satoshi smiled finishing off her rum "Yeah thats true but don't expect it to happen overnight. Its pot luck to my knowledge what genes they get. Think of the possibilities Seph and Itaka's children could be, like little purple men or people with horns and wings, or exactly like Seph with the exception of skin colour etc. Personally I would love it if I was born with a nice pair of wings or something" she added picturing herself with angel wings.

Oassu nodded "Probably true though I think it can move if it has to" he said thinking it would be a handy defence mechanism "Your one to hate being lost considering you took off from Yithra without so much as a goal or objective" he said applauding with the crowd.
Gil nodded sipping his whisky and accepting the strawberry tarts that arrived for them "Should we still stick around now the show is finished?" he asked "But yeah I'd expect to see a lot of crazy little kids like that running around over the next few years" he said.
Itaka nodded "Probably right though if only we could turn all monsters vegetarians then we wouldn't have anything to worry about" he said stopping stroking Seph's tail to applaud "Was a good show right?" he asked.
Jenna pouted "It's not as easy as that! Those lances are heavy and Chocobos are bouncy to ride on at full speed!" she said indignantly while applauding the musicians "Anything's hard the first time you try it" she defended herself.
Barbaros smirked "Kinda a touchy subject for her she fell off the chocobos a few times at the start too" he whispered to Alpha before emitting a cheer and a whistle to support the musicians "Do you think they'll parade the winners out?" he asked
Zadina giggled "You could always go join Kimino's group he managed to get wings that way Miss Satoshi though thanks very much Miss Hebal" he said returning the hug "Was only a silly suggestion then you don't need to take it seriously" he said brightly.

Seph nodded smiling as the first firework went up into the sky "Yep that was pretty good flying from them but the shows not quite over yet. Could try force feeding the meat eaters the vegetarian food but wou would make them really ill so its not recommended. Tried doing that to some demons during the war to save rations but was a complete failure and they resorted to cannibalism" she shuddered.
Hebal grinned flapping her arms about "Well maybe Jeckhart can give you some pointers on how to grow a pair and become an angel. Hopefully we can at least convince him to take us flying with him when he gets his wings back" she plotted hoping she could sweet talk him into that. "Though from what I heared Kimino's group are mega mega selective about who can join them"
Alpha chuckled happy to see the big bright red and orange firework go off "Ok ok I won't judge for in all fairness I'm not exactly all that graceful when it comes to chocobo riding so would probably fall off sometime too from missing an attack. I doubt the winners will be paraded out though, most likely watching the show and being fed to the press and advertising companies to throw their name behind some fancy new product"

Felina blushed but joined in with the applause "Hey, I totally had a goal and an objective in mind when I started out on my journey. I wanted some fun and excitement not restricted by my royal duties. It was always the same routine over and over and over for years and years so it got bery boring staying in the same place" she explained.
Satoshi yawned pulling a strawberry off the top of her desert and offering it to Gil. "We can't leave now, the food just came and the fireworks are starting. They could be a lovely little mix but I'm 100% sure I'm not all good and pure enough to join Kimino and his angel team and..." she trailed off looking at the ceiling to reveal another screen which had been made to focus upon the sky where the fireworks were due to go. " Never mind, could always just ask Jeckhart and on a good day... well who could turn down a cute viera like you."

Oassu smiled "You could always have set sail on that ship that was bought for you if you wanted to go a few places" he said placing an arm around Felina and cuddling her while they watched the fireworks "Well I hope I've been a good way to break up your routine" he said.
Gil smiled accepting the strawberry "Sure the fireworks are starting and you seem plenty nice though I don't think they'd want you off doing ninja missions though or gallivanting about with us so I'm happy for you to stay here" he said.
Itaka smiled "You could get into a flying troupe like that with your guitar skills I'm sure, though doubt you could help with the fire juggling part" he said "Still don't mention cannibalism and nasty stuff like that and just relax" he said nuzzling Seph as a big purple firework went off.
Zadina giggled cuddling Hebal "Miss Satoshi is right no one could turn down a super cute sweet Viera like you or Miss Amane though if you don't want to wait for that you could always ask Seph to give you a lift or maybe send a letter to Mr Kimino to ask him for a flight" he said.
Barbaros snickered picturing Alpha falling off a chocobo "You sure? I'd expect them to be put out, that's what they do in chocobo races they get up on these podiums and everyone applauds them and stuff" he said "Thought they'd do something like that" he said.
Jenna smiled as the band started up another tune to accompany the fireworks on the ground "I doubt Gil would want to be tied down to some advertising company, he's kinda reclusive and focused, not really interested in stuff like that" she said

Alpha nodded resisting the urge to add a firework of his own thinking he could make a bigger one if he tried "Nah but theres gotta be one or two papers he has to talk to in his contract or something considering the amount of press coverage there was... although I haven't spotted too many journalists in this crowd tonight. Though if I were to make a guess Gil would be more interested in relaxing somewhere watching the ceremony with his girlfriend"
Seph smirked shrugging her shoulders "I am perfectly relaxed thank you very much. But no, I wouldn't fancy joining a flying troupe like that. I don't really play anymore, haven't done so in years and had no reason to play again but maybe with a lot of training I could reluctantly learn to fire juggle. Anythings possible in this crazy world" she optimistically answered as a blue firework went up to join the purple one.
Hebal sighed shaking her head "Well you see I already tried asking Seph but she was like nope sorry not gonna do it the spoil sport" she complained with the occasional "oooh" and "ahh" as the fireworks went off. "As for Mr Kimino we barely know eachother, we've only met a few times and don't exactly talk all that much"

Felina smiled back and nodded her head "Yep its been good travelling with you though at first I wasn't so sure, you're not exactly the friendliest looking bunch of people from afar. Especially folks like Seph and Alpha. But if I went by my own boat people would know where I was and the crew would be in contact with my dad real fast. I guess its was kinda selfish thinking back since he was probably going nuts wth worry" she sighed feeling a little guilty.
Satoshi shook her head bringing her food towards her along with her fork "Nah they wouldn't like it and I wouldn't especially like it either if they kept me cooped up doing all serious jobs. Even if you don't know Kimino well you could still write him a letter, that way you could know him better and worst case scenario is that he doesn't reply" she cheerfully added to Hebal

Oassu smiled "Well you certainly were easy on the eye when I first saw you and Alpha wasn't scary at first, just a friendly old man no?" he said remembering him "And what your dad gave you a ship but didn't let you sail it anywhere?" he asked.
Gil smiled eating his cake "Mmm this is good" he said "And I'm not really sure I remember this Kimino person well but he must be pretty special if he can be an angel" he said "Though I'm sure if you promised him a nice cake or something he might fly by to give you a flight" he said
Itaka nodded "Not like you need to, you earn plenty in adventuring anyway" he said relaxing and absently playing with Seph's tail "You're skilled enough without adding fire juggling to your roster of talents that impress me anyway" he said.
Jenna shrugged "I imagine that's the case though can't imagine him really enjoying it if he was forced to do all that stuff" she said joining in the ooohs and aaahs of the crowd "He's very methodical about what he does distractions like advertising aren't his thing" he said.
Barbaros grinned "Well sitting anywhere with your girlfriend is certainly a more attractive option than being paraded for all to see, maybe they're worried about an assassination attempt or something given the corruption associated with it this year" he said.
Zadina smiled patting Hebal's ears "Aww cheer up Miss Hebal I'm sure he'd be nice enough to take you flying if he's in the area sometime or you could ask Miss Anakuda to do it as well seeing as she can turn into all sorts of flying things" he said
