Cahan cracked his neck and let out a little sly smile. "It is moment like this that drive me to think that nothing would make me more pleased than to sever all treaties that I have made with those two fouls. Sefu of Earth and Kuro of Fire. It is there two clans, there own fathers to be exact which created the virus, alongside the humans, which led to destruction of your kind on my own world". Cahan let out another laugh, and pulled back his hood, to reveal the ice pale face and ice blue yes which hid underneath, the one feature that would intrigue the other, or so Cahan hoped was the large elven type ears that the Dragon sported. Though Elf he was far from, it was a small reminder of one of his past mates. "I would ask you to do me the favor to leave this little fiasco from the ears and eyes of your employer. But I have a feeling that with creatures like you, duty comes first.

"Well I do hope this virus...is gone." Because it must be one hell of a thing to get into an elven system, seeing as the creatures were immune to almost any and all diseases as well as strains of viruses and such. Nope, he wouldn't be happy to hear that was on the plane.
But oh look at that, a dragon when it it's more subdued form that had elf ears. Or kind of anyway. Though ever stoic Sevilin didn't change at all to that, even if he was intrigued on the inside. "Me being an elf has nothing to do with my duty toward Lord D'vinn. My duty is to myself. It rests with the safety of me and mine, which just so happens to be connected to D'vinn and his. You have to understand that what I relay of others, I do for my own lively hood as well. I cannot afford ill deal either." A smirk of somewhat. "Maybe I'll snip and cut a little...though Malik may look past all truth should you prove a good ally, but keep a close eye on you."

Cahan let out a slight smirk. "At this point, that is all which can be expected. Though I think that I'm going to have to talk to my allies, and make sure that I'm the only one opening my mouth in front your emplyer, Lord D'vinn, I rather like living. Cahan smirked, he was starting to like this guy, if nothing else, Sevilin was not one to mince words, if nothing else, one could relly on this one to speak his mind. "As far as the virus somehow leaking into your world, I don't think that those two have the brains required to accomplish something like that, not there fathers had any brains, both they and the humans made a grevious error. The fact that the Elven were actually able to succomb to a disease of any sort should been a warning sign of things to come. Once the virus was done with the elves, in mutated, as virus often do, in order to survive, and went for Dragons and humans alike. We nearly brought our entire planet to the bring of extinction, before we were able to find a cure. It is one of the reasons that we have had no major wars since then. We have been trying desperately to bring our number back up. I myself lost lost nearly 3/4 or my people. he said with a slight sigh in his voice. "I also lost my mate at the time. As you can see that, virus is something I wish to remain in the past. Cahan said with a slight smirk.
"But enough of such dreadfull things. I am still curious to see what your Runes are capable, the energy fluxation in here earlier has spiked my curiousity.

He nodded to the information that was passed on and perhaps felt some relief. After all, now he most likely didn't have to worry about some virus so harsh that it could even make it into the system of the elven kind. One less thing to worry about for his son, yes? Yes. But it seemed a change of topic was in order as the other cared not to talk about such unpleasantries. Fine by Sevilin.
A smirk. "Ah, so like most dragon kind you're sensitive to magics as well as energy shifts in the enviroment. You dragons, always the wolf's nose to a mage's magics." And he actually gave a sort of chuckle to that for whatever reason he found it something to chuckle over. "Very well then, a demonstration."
Normally not one to show off, but hey why not. Thus that shift in the air happened again, a green glowing circle with various symbols, two rings, and a star of chaos in the center alighting the ground underneath and around Sevilin, proof of his runic abilities. "As asked before, before I nearly had my head cleaved from my body...any particular form of demonstration you had in mind?"

Cahan gave some deep though to the question which he had been asked. Deeper still than most people would on the matter, then again, Cahan was far from an average anything, let alone a person. "Let me see, I rememger once that a mage bosted that he could take any living creature such as a lizard or such and mold it into a weapon. Though I have no lizard on me at the time. Will these do. He said with a smirk as he tug through his pockets and took out a bootle, which he uncorked to realese something which resembled a leech, but this one was glowing a bright. "We use as a source of light when hunting in caverns. he explained, handing the creature to the other.

Hm, a challenge. He liked challenges. It was times like these that he enjoyed being a master a the skill, being able to more or less manipulate anything to his will. But a raised eyebrow at the small glowing creature...yeah he was greatful for infravision that was in his genetics, but he took it anyway, and more or less dropped it on the ground. Sevilin spent a moment in contemplation.
"Alright, I'll give it a go." Thus a little copy of the circle Sevilin had around himself, formed under the little leech-esk creature and Sevilin started into a series of drawing motions in the air with his index finger, a treail of glowing energy alighting where he drew in the air and then being transposed onto the little creature. It stiffened straight to it's full length in a perfect line, then seemed to take a sheen to it. Next the greature was cut in half on an angle, then another little symbol was transposed and etched itself into the two halves each. all without Sevilin ever really touching it of course.
All the glowing dying down, the air shifting to feel less heavy once more, Sevilin bent down and picked up the two halves carefully. "Small, yes because of such a creature...but it can kill a man swiftly. Sevilin flipped his left bare arm up and promptly swiped one of the halves across his arm, his skin sporting a thin trail of blood that quickly rose to the surface and drained from him. "Sharp, quick, clean, and good depth, cuts. Subtle, but effective." Then he drew a rune on his arm, the cut healing itself as he offered the two hard as steel sharp as diamoned edged spit creature back. "Good enough for you?"

Zell looked curiously at the body beneath his own. "But you lost." He said matter of factly.
The other wolves barked their concet as they ran around the front porch.
"You lost!" Said one, "You did not play!" Shouted another.
"Rules, rules, can't break the rules!"
"That's the game!"
"You Lost!"
They barked and yipped, jumping over each other in eagerness, when Jude yelled loudly: "He Lost The Game! With ME!" He charged the horizontal Elf. The remaining seven wolves promtply piled onto the elf.

This made no sense to Isle at all...what was with these things and what game? "What kind of game uses unsuspecting elves as targets? You all could get yourself killed by doing something so stupid. What if one of us pulled a sword or blasted with magic. Ignorant creatures. Ignorant and foolhardy every one of you." Yes she was being her stern self this time. After all, it really had been a stupid thing. A look to Isle. "Stay put."
And she walked over to Galesen shooing, pulling, pushing, and picking wolves off of him before helping him up off the ground, brushing him off some and helping right his clothes before she turned her look on the wolves and studied them. "Why you're nothing more than a back of puppies, no wonder you cause trouble...you're all going to get yourselves hurt with this rag tag random assulting business. Probably lucky to still have your hides."

Cahan could not help but laugh. It was most definately a great act of magic. Cahan was greatful that he was not the dragon which made him angry, to incure the wrath of someone as powerful would be grave mistake indeed. "Indeed that is great work of art. Cahan said as he took the weapons from the other, holding then and examining them in his grip. "Something as ingenious as this will surely come in handy, I thank you for it. he smiled.

"Do remeber who you use them on though...after all, you don't want to cross the wrong person." And of course Sevilin had no fear of the deadly things he could create...after all, he could destroy just was easily what he had made...or anything else he hadn't really. Shatter runes were wonderful things. "I am glad you are pleased though...two hundred years of dedicated study would be such a waste of being a failure at the graft.
Snatching the nearest serf and giving the order, the human coming back with a cloth for Sevilin to wipe up blood with before it dripped to the floor before it scurried off again to attend it's chores. His attention back to Cahan. "He shouldn't be too much longer."

They all laughed happily. What fun what fun! The game never ended! And what better game to play then mind games?
Jude quieted them all down with a stren bark, adn the other seven sat just behind him obediently.
"I trust in my pack's ability not to hurt, nor be hurt while playing The Game. The Game is simply our way playing, and is quite common among our kind."
Kuro spoke up, "It was much fun to play with someone new! You did marvilously for your first time!"
Jude hushed her. "Had we suspected you to be enemies, the game would not have been instigated. And unless I am mistaken, The Game was not Random at all. Adso followed the rules, yes?"
He looked to Adso for conformaton, Adso nodded. Jude turned back to the three. "You see? The Game was instigated, The Game was played."

"And do tell what is 'The Game' and how would one know if they are playing it. Apparently we are not playing the same game. And you are still all very reckless for engaging in something such as this. And not all are 'your kind' and not all will think as you do, and cocky as you may be it is good for you to know that there is someone out there better than you all and that accidents always happen."

Jude tilted his head. “Cocky? Meaning, overly self-assertive and self-confident?” He looked at his pack. “No, that is not us.”
Adso smiled. “It is The Game. The Game of Life. Rules can be made at any time, when they are, do not break them. Rules can be contradicting, doesn't matter, follow them anyways. All games end when the chosen target has been tackled. All games must begin by first properly instigating the game. Make yourself known, but not seen.”
Jude nodded. “And not all kind is your kind either. Is it in your culture to criticize other cultures? This is how we learn, because as you say, we are pups. Surely you are not asking us to become elves?”
Mik lowered his ears. “You seem to imply that we believe ourselves better. We are not so, we know so. We’ve been beaten many times. Orko, our teacher, the Vah…”
Zell shrugged. “We play by way of introduction. You are friends of the Oracle, because she let let you in and spoke freindly words with her. We are loyal to her, her friends are our friends.” He rubbed a paw in the dirt. “Do you dislike us so much?”

Cahan led out a smile,"Yes, D'Vinn is one of those which prefers to take his time when he is with his family. How about you Sir, have you any children of your own?" Cahan knew that it was not his place to ask, and Sevilin could refuse to answer such a personal question, but Cahan that he wanted to know, perhaps it was a shot of homesickness to see his won children. Perhaps it was merely simple curiousity. Who know?
