Air, that's what I thought at first, but why only Snarfy? Maybe she's the chose one idea .

Their seers traced the source of the power to come from this point in the Wilderness, and they gathered dozens of warriors to explore Daemonheim's depths. Not everyone has come back, however. But more to it. Collecting more of the Chronicles, I think it hints more to what the source is. I'm wondering though, if the surge was of Bilrach finding what he was looking for. At the rift.
