Ok thats a pretty huge difference. I feel like pokemon trained from eggs with the right hold items. (Double stat growth at half exp. for example) could make a level 100 Chandelure, infinitely strong than one caught at say level 60 and grown to 100.

I'm sure all the serious trainers train their pokefriends that way. I like to think my team is pretty solid though. I usually use Rhyperior instead of Nidoking but Nidoking looks cooler. And of course same situation with Dragonaire/Dragonite. I usually keep her evolved but Dragonaire looks cooler. Also! I just got bored of using the Tyranitar/Dragonite/Metagross/ whatever you call them Sudo-Legendaries. Got bored of fighting them online so figured out ways to beat them lol.
In saying that technically, Slaking has the highest stats of any non legendary pokemon. And has the ability to have his "go-every-other-turn" ability removed in tag battles. Plus hes a sexy beast.

I've never had a real strong Pokemon team, I never really battled online. There are three pokemon which I've hatched and raised to level 100 with stats in mind. A Meganium, Porygon 2, and Flygon.

Using the hold item i referred to earlier. Makes a huge difference.
