I'm more of an FF8 person.
Advent Children was decent, though. Its only decent because the uh, version, I err, recieved had lots of missing scenes. I KNOW that it would be more than an hour and fifteen minutes long, and at least explain what the hell Geo-Stigma was.

FFVIII was all right, if not unusually good when it first came out. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the last battle with the mistress thingy. And Omega. By gosh, Omega was insanely difficult to fight....killed my entire party with one blast, that b*****d. gonk
Advent Children was good, because it was mainly the first that actually made entirely out of CG. Unlike the Final Fantasy Movie, thing about the 7th spirit - that was horrible, in my opinion. Story was faulty, the ending sucked...
But AC was actually good in the fighting and visual appearance.
And Geo-stigma? Do you really want to know it, or do you already know about what it is? O.o

FF8 was funky. But I'm still more of an FF7 junky.
I've only got about two more cards to get and beat the game and Omega weapon to 100% FF8. I haven't given Omega an attempt yet, but I killed Ultima within in the span of around 5 minutes, possibly less. The guy was a pansy a**, got Irvine to triple on Zell, Zell Aura's everyone, Hyper Shot and Lionheart go a long way. domokun I'm wondering if Omega is as easy.

Ultima was easy, yes; just a lionheart from Squall and Ultima should be dead within a matter of minutes.
Unfortunately, for Omega...
Just multiply Ultima's health by ten, and firepower by ten, and its mobility by two.
Then you have Omega, with pwning stats that could liquidate the entire party in a matter of minutes.
Unless you have hero's drink and such; give you a few extra time to kill it...

That's why I leveled up all of my party (Squall, Zell, Selphie, Irvine, Rinoa) to level 99 within the first half of the second disk. It took a few weeks of solid leveling (especially since I couldn't go to the Island Closest to Heaven/Hell without the Ragnarok), but the end result was awesome. Once I got the last Weapons Monthly in disc 3 and bought all of the magazines I missed out on from Esthar, I killed everything that had the loot I needed, and got everyone's ultimate weapons.
Then I went to the Deep Sea Research lab after I got the Ragnarok. ;D Needless to say, every single boss in there was pwned once I unleashed Shot with 100 rounds of pulse ammo on Irvine, Lionheart with Squall, and Duel with Zell.
And, for Omega fight, I highly suggest that you bring Rinoa along with Angelo's Invincibility skill trained. As soon as she gets killed (if she's not high enough to survive a few hits from the guy), raise her, and keep pressing the O button until limit break comes up. Then pray that the completely random Combine uses which one of Angelo's skills you want. ;]
I suggest a barrage of GF attacks from your strongest, and everyone should be down to limit breaks from Omega's earlier assaults, so that'll finish it up.

With Irvine, Squall and Quistis. xd
I beat the crap out of everything with that party, not going to change that.
I think I'll junction 100 haste to everyones Speed, get Quistis to cast Meltdown, Irvine to cast triple on Squall and get him to Aura everyone. Providing they survive whatever the hell Omega does, I'm going to blast the b*****d with all my limit breaks until he dies. domokun

Make sure to put 100 Ultima on everyone's strength, too. Its really annoying to wait for the draw point to refill in the Shumi village, but its worth it; 14 Ultima raised my level 20 Squall's damage from 200 to 390 with a trigger hit.

Isn't there something that refines into Ultima spells? Like a dynamo stone refines into Thunder/Thundara/Thundaga/Oneofthesespells.

I dunno. I never used any magic in battle except Scan, so I didn't care about refining.
