Alpha shuddered a little tempted to change out of his human form just to show Jenna what he meant "Well it's not really a good place to show you mine but basically the plan made was that every demon after the war that wasn't thrown back into the demon world for whatever reason was to be given a barcode for identification which got scarred onto your body" he mumbled taking note of where the hotdog sellers were walking around to. "Trust me depending on who you are Barbaros, who ya know can keep the wrong sort of people off your back and if for some reason it doesn't, you ust beat em about a bit"

Seph let out a laugh as she nodded her head "Yep, a little souvenir would have done with the exception of one of those really tacky looking keyrings if you get what I mean. But I know what you mean about the stands, not that I'm complaining about not being in the middle being watched by so many people"

Hebal giggled still staring at the shiny gold trophy Gil was holding as the crowd finished their applause and began to scatter. Well maybe if you ask Gil nicely you could hold both the bronze and the gold trophy at the same time Zadina-weena. But I do think you gria need a few less combat based magazines if theres really that many of them" she commented counting out the number of photographers.

Oassu groaned "Man it's been so long since I've really stolen anything anyway I barely feel like a thief anymore and your mum might expect something really nice from a merchant so I'll see about getting something nice, I'm sure your parents are used to the finest elven wines though" he said.

Zadina scratched his head "Awww I feel sorry for him since Enkidu isn't here, should take the man back and show him Enkidu since he's a lovely big fiend dog" he said noting a human photographer standing dejectedly in the corner. "Doesn't Sir Gil need to do interviews and stuff with them?" he asked "And I'm sure they aren't all Gria magazines Miss Hebal" he said noting the multi-ethnicity of the photographers and reporters some of whom stopped to talk to Aechotiau "I wonder if they'll be looking for Miss Mari after this..." he pondered.

Gil smiled "Well if you work really hard and listen to your parents maybe you'll be able to get all that cool stuff someday" he said picking up the cards of gil for his prize money and pocketing the Gamblers spirit in one of his armour slots.

Jenna shivered "Sounds nasty but then again I suppose everyone was pretty mad after the demon wars..." she said glad she wasn't around for them "Still surely you could make a case for a nicer way to get it done nowadays." she said taking her seat.

Barbaros scratched his head awkwardly "Well....actually Governor Alex proposed that fairer identification laws be put into place for demons to the world council, something less brutal than scarring" he said not really wanting to mention Alex's good points "But no doubt the council is suspended while countries are at war" he muttered.

Itaka smirked "I'd thought a proud demonness like you would like being on show so much" he said "Still I'll have a quick look at the stalls on the way out and you can pick yourself a nice present though you won't get it till the Dragon Festival" he said checking his pockets to ensure he had some Gil for it.

Felina frowned taking Cid from Oassu and placed him upon her lap "Does it bother you that you've not stolen all that much lately?" she whispered a little relieved he hadn't stolen anything. "The only one in the family that really knows anything about wine is Elithana but she's off with her fiance for the dragon festival. My dad is more of a whisky fan."

Kelin smiled unaware if just how red his cheeks were turning "Umm thanks for the offer miss and I already do listen to my parents... except for that one time with the cookies but that so doesn't count" he complained quietly.

Alanu snickered flying up and patting Kelin on the head "That totally counts young man. As for the media, you have no obligation to answer their questions here since you already did a lot of appearences after your match but it is recommended that you talk to one or two of them. Then afterwards you have the judgemasters room all to yourself. She'll come say congrats or something a little later after finishing the paper work which is particularly long due to the corruption" she explained pointing to the doors behind where the trophy had sat. "It's the best viewing spot in the vip area. Though speaking of good spots, you and me need to get moving soon for your dad has got us seats in the front row of the arena"

Satoshi let out a low whistle "Man thats a pretty good seat, should have asked one of you guys to reserve us some of those. But what... Gil can just pick one or two of them to talk to then see the ceremony? Easier than I thought it would be" she smiled curious as to what made the judgemaster's room so good.

Alpha sighed taking what he believed was one of their seats "Yeah well people shouldn't hold grudges so much, not when a new generation of innocent demons are starting to pop up. Your dragons once or twice got into the demon world but pretty much got wiped out very fast by a bigger demon or got weakened by some of the harsher environments. You wouldn't like it in there, no flowers or grass or pretty lights or nothin' like that"

Seph shrugged placing her arm around Itaka's neck "Ahh but I'm not really a human, I'm kinda like a fiend. Now you wouldn't see one of those wearing clothes with the exception of Sophia. As for why I like what I wear, why restrict your movements by wearing unnecessary clothes. I'm just how nature intended and the breeze is nice" she whispered.

Hebal giggled staring at each of the reporters "You could always let each one ask you one or two questions each rather than do a full long interview with just one or two. We could even go on ahead because I wanna see what that room is we get to stay in" she curiously stated spotting a bunch of waiting staff slipping inside. "You guys were so lucky to get front row ceremony seats, were you up at the crack of dawn for them?"

Oassu snickered "Well true but I'm still a thief at heart but I won't let ya know about anything I do thats criminal if it keeps you happy" he said snickering as Cid flopped across their laps "Guess I won't be going to get food anytime soon then" he said stroking Cid.

Gil smiled "Well lucky you getting to see everything up close and stuff" he said deciding to place Kelin down on the ground at last but taking the trophy from him thinking it was too heavy "Well I'll let you get away to your seats and I'll go arrange and interview or two for after the ceremony since I don't really think we have time right plus I imagine the dog guy will want to go back to the cabin to actually see Enkidu" he said.

Zadina giggled casting float on Kelin "Flap your wings Kelin, consider it like a little bit of flying" he suggested to the boy "But I bet you'll have a great time tonight, though don't forget to train hard so you can be judgemaster someday" he said.

Barbaros nodded "Guess so, then again I bet the worst of the demons are still trapped in their world plus many demons are still alive given their long lives I'll bet" he said waving a hand "We should still relax for now, nothin like that gonna happen again so just enjoy the celebrations for now" he said getting up to go get some food.

Jenna sighed "Aww I'd kinda hoped our dragons would do better though it's a silly thing to hope" she giggled "Just cause they're from our home I guess still it's like the home team losing" she said "Though I can see why we wouldn't like to go there sounds nasty if the environments can weaken a dragon" he said.

Itaka raised an eyebrow "Didn't think I'd hear you compare yourself to a fiend, my understanding was that demons didn't like that comparison but clothes don't really restrict your movements that much that's what armour really does" he said patting his big gauntlet "Though I suppose I can understand the breeze" he said.

Felina shook her head "Nope your not going anywhere. I think Cid does it on purpose just to get that bit of attention but there are people with food going around the stands" she assured him playing with the puffy tail. I'll tell ya what, how about I conveniently forget I see you taking advantage of rich tourists wanting to spend a fortune on suovenirs later" she whispered the suggestion feeling a little guilty at the same time.

Kelin gasped a little shocked by the sudden sensation of floating without his wings flapping "I feel funny like this" he told Zadina flapping his wings and holding onto his mother "your silly miss Hebal, even I know bunny people can't fly. Hehe see you guys he sighed a little disappointed he had to leave despite the festival.

Alanu smiled pulling Kelin along "Well, so long you guys. You know where to find me if you need me or want to catch up since I'm actually stationed in Kunec. Have a good dragon festival and yeah, take the trophy to Mari and tell her I say congrats" she remembered to tell them before guiding him towards a quicker staff exit leading to the stands.

Satoshi smiled waving the gria off "Well aren't those two a cute pair so small and all" she said once Alanu couldn't hear so to avoid causing defense. "I wanna know whats in the box now but I guess thats Mari's job to know" she groaned looking at the prize beside the bronze trophy which was being stared at by another judge on security across the room checking the right people took it.

Hebal shrugged knowing it was true but all the same kept flapping her arms a little "I'll prove you wrong one day little Kelin, just you wait and see" she laughed circling the podium with the bronze trophy "I think the judge is expecting us to take it on her behalf. They clearly aren't silly enough to give it to random strangers to the winner but no don't open the box. That should be for Mari to find out" she told Satoshi.

Seph smirked shaking her head "Nah, trust me I have all the food I need in my bag plus the hotdog people will get to us eventually. You people need to adapt better to your environment and evolve a bit more but can't with clothes on. Although I'm sure I could show you a way to warm up despite your setbacks" she added in a whisper.

Alpha cleared his throat knowing the answer "I would say its a defence mechanism but the bombs explode as kinda an if I'm going down I'm dragging you with me attitude if you get what I mean. As for the aging thing, that don't bother me. Woud have lived in the demon world a lot less with the amount of enemies I had and the kids get way better opportunities here"

Oassu snickered "Well only if they are at the front and you don't take them off, many have back pouches but I'm not going to teach you the secrets of being a thief, I doubt you'd want a reputation as a princess thief" he said patting Cid "We should cover up his ears in case they choose to open with the fireworks" he said.

Zadina shook his head "Maybe not but I think you underestimate law and order Miss Satoshi, the Judges are a completely neutral institution they are trusted to enforce laws in a wide variety of cities, to my understanding only the Bangaa don't really endorse judges in their country though I hear some Viera forests don't care for them" he said "They are important because they are above all prejudice, a short while ago a dwarf would not have gotten a fair trial in an elven court because of....race issues" he muttered embarrassed "That's why the Judges are so important and influential" he said.

Itaka chuckled kissing Seph's horns and hugging her "Well those methods are inappropriate for the common public couldn't do everytime I got cold" he said "But I doubt slow evolution is a result of clothes" he snickered playing with Seph's tail "What kinda snacks you have?" he asked.

Jenna shrugged "It's really annoying though me Gil and Barbaros had to fight a few of them chasing after you, Gil forbid me from going near them in case I got hurt in the explosion, Barbaros and him had no trouble dealing with them" she grunted resentfully
