This time Cahan's laugh was strong and loud, Sevilin's words had struck a note to him. "I mean no offense to your master, but I don't think he could kill any of my kind, especially not one of us four, and tis not only my ego speaking. We hunted the long eared ones on our world to extinction, I assure I don't eat Elves, or any other long eared people. My friends I cannot speak for, as far as the plan goes. Cahan made a dramatic pause as if he was about to announce the coming of some great of something along that magnitude.
"As you have previously stated a treaty is our first move, the land belonging to one of the chieftons, including full use of all it resources manpower and otherwise, In return the chiefton get loads and loads of gold. Alas, this devious mysteriously disappears, gold and all.. Again his smile grew wide and cold, murderous in it intend. "That's where the real fun begins" he smiled.
"Once this has taken place, we sow the seeds of distrust amongst the Purians, convincing them to attack the unaware Malik in the dead of night. Only they will be walking into an ambush. Malik gets his land, his servants and we get our treasure."

She took the eye patch in her other hand, but didn't give it back to Galesen just yet, but for now stuffed it into her pocket for later. "Oh it's an easy skill to learn, especially when playing this game." In truth it was educational and a learning tool for little elves to indeed make thier senses keen all around. "You're asking for hints too? Oh you both play my weakness for cute." A little giggle and then she cleared her throat. "You're on the right track, it is indeed a blossom but it has also by nature been made a mineral."
"Obviouly you are indeed new to this plane...a few flaws in your plan. Gold will do you no good down here. Steel is the gold of this world. And Purians are a simple life...they would not launch an attack over petty things...they live in thier brush huts and farm their little coastline. But even they turn down steel." Hey he had made it a point to know these thigns by this time.
"And Lord D'vinn I believe is not just interested in the land, least he would of taken it already." After all, Malik could easily take what he wanted by force in this plane if he put Sevilin's Andalian runics to use, but he preferred to do it himself and to be subtle. For whatever reason, he wanted feasible allies out of the purians...Sevilin thought them useless, personally. "Rule one...down here in teh Underdark, nothing is ever easy."

Cahan smiled, he was indeed a smart one. And he had to admit when it came to his world, he was smarter then him, though he would never openly admit it. " I wasn't expected it to be easy, I have to admit that I am a little disappointed that this Purians don't love wars. But as to the treaty for gold, or steel as you say, this shall happen. Tawarthion has already accepted the deal, or at least he will..." Cahan laughed, cracking his knuckles not so delicately. "And before you ask, no we didn't eat him, we incinerated him. But alas, your comment does leave me with some thinking to do, though I greatly value your knowledge. Perhaps I may one day return the favor." he said rubbing his chin in frustration.

Oh good he wrecked someones day to an extent. But it was in his own best inerest seeing as what Sevilin did now, fell on his own shoulders and no one else's. He didn't want to encite a ear splitting lecture or something of the sorts from Malik. "When there are wars, it's the peasants who feel the pinch, I do believe that the Purians fall into that category." A casual shrug and then a sigh. "Well I am glad to know I've startled your cognative processes...though you should know that to extend a favor to an elf can be a foolish thing. We hold you to your word and perhaps forever."

A shrug from Cahan and another smile, slightly softer then the rest. "Aye, that you do. My people live as long as yours, perhaps even longer is the legends of the Alphas are correct, this world, though it is not my own, has been forced as my new home. I am glad you have told me these things, perhaps we can avoid more bloodshed, by not inciting a war. Like I said earlier it was my comrade and not I, who made the deal with Malik but our words are our bonds. Once a pact is made it cannot be broken. Cahan grew silent for a moment, suddenly lost in thoughts of the past. "But enough of this, what else can you tell me of this world?"

"That which you seek is deep inside these tunnels, we must travel far to get there... Or near... Its one of those two. Which one means that you can see it, but can't touch it? Or you are touching it, but you are not seeing it?" The naga whilred around on the ground, before bonking his head against the wall, and stating the obious. "Ow..."
The wall slide open, revealing a stair case.
Fin looked at Leaf, "Questions found us answers." He smirked in a playful manner. "Naga, can you take us to the element? We have many to gather and wish to do so timely."
"What is a time? is it a food or a place, I cannot see it, but it is there. Like the Element. I know that the Element is there, but I cannot see it, or taste it. It was crunchy... Or was that just my imagination..." The naga slithered up the stair well.

"Good that you think that way...I don't have a taste for war these years, I have greater things to attend my time to than bloody battles and such." Like his son for example. But a little nod at spoken words being binding eternal, and of course he wasn't one to disagree with that one. After all, he still held Arthur in debt to himself, a debt which he had yet to call in of the elf.
Though a raise of an eyebrow as his was then questioned more. "I myself am not from this plane, but have lived here a good number of years...have learned the land...the magics here seem almost gods given, planar travel is null and voic due to the loss of some orb. A war destroyed the surface land above and turned it into a whole of Underdark...though rumors say the surface is to come again. " A light shrug, after all he was drow, what did he care about the surface. "There is little comraderie here it seems in this land...but then again, isn't that always the way?"

"This world and my own have many in common, my people, have been in wars since there creation it seems. First amongst the four great clans, and then against the human and elves. One we wiped of the face of the world, the other we hold an uneasy treaty with. That is the reason we came to this world. It is an uneasy comfort that perhaps my hatchlings may yet find peace, even if it is without me. As cold hearted and calculating as Cahan was, he was still a family driven creature. Aside from the humans and your kind, what other creatures make a home it this underworld?' He asked of the other.

"I suppose you mean intelligent creatures among the various feral common Underdark critters? Well...there are the half elves, the gnomes and dwarves, some intelligent dragonics, a pair of creatures called Vah, a sphinx here and there...and other anthropomorphic beings, orcs, ogres...though I would hardly call those two too intelligent...and then there's the Drakkin that Malik has fostered into life here. Perhaps a few others that form a motley crew, but I know not thier names. Other than those...all the underdark riff raff."

Onyx smirked.
"My parents named me. I'm dark as the stone I am named after, Moonstone is as lumious as the moon at night. Father wasn't one for fancy names."
"Indeed."
That got a glare..then back to the child trying to get away from his tail. Heh. let him figure that one out.
"A twin is a brother, or sister, born only moments after you, that bears a similarity to you in most cases. like me and my brother, the only differences in our appearance are our color, really."
Then a smirk and his tail tugged back.
"And you may not have seen a doctor yet, but you will. everyone sees a doctor eventually."
a grin showing those white fangs.
"Mostly cause if you aren't sick there are things to get done that can prevent it too."
"Great. Give Piper another reason to fret."
"doing my job, boss!"

Lark was trying really hard not to say anything that would give it away, practically jumping up and down with her hand over her mouth. She was bad at this part of the game and there had been a few times when she'd ruined the game for others and deeply upset them. Yes she adn Daddy Kieran had had that talk as well. They'd had quite a few talks over the years, usually in his study or with her perched in his lap while he showed her or told her a story or just lectured. It was always kind of course, but she didn't like them much. "You guessed the hint I would have given..." Then she looked at Isle. "Does he get a hint? He's an adult."

Arthur chuckled a little as a large grin appeared on his face, he seemed to be liking this game a lot now if only he could use this in a more intimate session, but for now he would have to do with this flower like thing in his hand. "I can see what you mean by that Isle." He told her with a small chuckle before his hand began to explore the inner area of the flower, though that hint of hers would be helpful, but instead he got a comment that made him blush a little and his playful grin suddenly appeared across his face as he stood there in the street. "Oh I am? well that's a good weakness to know about..." Another chuckle as he listened in on Isle's clue and nodded lightly in understanding. "Made by a mineral huh? Well then..." His voice trailed off as he started to pay attention to the feel of the flower as his mind went into his memory banks to figure out what he was feeling, after a moment or so it finally clicked and he was grinning once again. "Is it a Crystal Flower?" He asked with eagerness in his voice as he hoped his answer was right.

Piper gave a chuckle at Malik. "Oh don't worry love, that's not something I can get paranoid over. We're elven...we naturally have a resistance to most illnesses and diseases and such. I take that in great comfort that our little boy can't catch everything there is." Unlike most humans who passed colds and such around like water.Though a sigh, messing with Malik's hair some for a moment just because. "You and me need to talk about this little quest of sorts when we get home. Have to make some plans..."
He titled his head as if processing the information. "Oh." And now he knew what twins were, not that he'd ever see two elves. Though he could assume that all drow were twins, or at least most. They all looked alike. Maybe even the Tier'Dal fell into that category. If he knew more of the surface he could assume the same of most surface elves, the elven gene pool being almost quite uniform among the bloodlines.
He shook his head in a gesture of disagreement. "Mommy takes care of me, I don't need a doctor." Yes because mommy and daddy were the be all and end all of his little known world of existance right now. Toddler perception. Okay so this tail wasn't easy...tugging wasn't working and he wasn't happy about it...hm, maybe if he stepped on it? The dragons and even Ashlyn would usually scamper right off when they did that...though that had been accidents. Getting himself up, he went with his plan, and duely stepped down on Onyx's tail.
A smile and another pet for Lark. "It's his first time playing like we do, of course he gets a hint or two. You had lots of hints when you started." Resting a hand on the girl's shoulder to quell her bouncing. But a few more moments of waiting before Isle gave a triumphant noise on Galesen's bahalf and a clap too. "By Rinc Kier he got it his first try...though with hints. Good job, open your eyes, take a look at it."

Lharika grinned and clapped her hands as well then frowned, "Isle, can we say that down here? Daddy Kieran told me they have different gods. What if one of theirs gets jealous?" She wrung her hands and shook her head, then went back to the game. "It's your turn Isle." She glanced around, checking her pockets and trying to find something that Isle wouldn't guess right off. Not finding anything that struck her as a good item, she walked over to Arthur and began digging in his pockets. He was an adult, he shouldn't have any bugs or anything in there like the little boys did.
But her search revealed nothing and she checked shook her head then started gazing around the Underdark again. Bingo. Racing over by a rock she leaned down adn picked it up. It was scale netting, three lizard or dragon scales stuck together. They were decent sized, big enough that all three together covered her whole entire hand adn she skipped back over and dropped it in Isle's hand. "There you go. No peeking."

A small smile appeared on the elf's face when he was told he was correct and blushed a little more when Isle sounded a little surprise that he guessed it right. So when he opened his eye he looked down at the crystal flower and smiled, it looked really beautiful, something he had never seen before in his entire life, another piece of the surface that Isle had brought down with her, how many surprises did she carry in those pockets of hers? "It's beautiful." He commented on the little flower as he was careful not to break it, didn't want to ruin something Isle took the liberty to bring down, he would feel stupid for doing so. But a small chuckle came from the elf when little Lark asked Isle if they could stay down here in the Underdark. "Well I don't think you have to worry about the gods that people follow down here, if Kieran allows you to stay you'll be having a great time while staying at the Twilight." Though the topic suddenly shifted back to the game and Arthur found his pickets being rummaged through by tiny fingers, looking for anything to use in the game, but since his pockets didn't hold anything useful, actually they didn't hold anything at all, Lark had to resort to taking a scale net and then placed it in the elf's hand, and Arthur just had to wonder if she would actually get this one.
