"thank you." he takes the neckalce and puts it around his neck. on his neck you see there is another necklace. it's a copy of the bird he made you, except it's flat, made of platinum, and it has a blue tint to the metal. as his fingers brush against it, you see his eyes grow soft and sad. but then he drops your necklace in place and smiles at you.

he chuckles. "it's my fault. i left it there too long. but i like it, warm or cold. one eats what one orders." saying that, downs the rest of the bowl and puts it down. he wrests his elbows on the table and wrests his head in his hands. "mmmmmm. that was good."
