Getting up, Kihaku walked over to Dream and Holly, a hopeful smile on her face as she brushed an orange lock of hair out of her face. "It would be great if you could help," she said, smiling softly, even as part of her pushed away her hope that this would work. After all, it wouldn't be the first time someone had tried to help her. She had learned before that it was better not to put much hope into things like that. Eventually, things always fell through.

"Oh, okay." Holly nodded with a smile, making sure not to expose any food in her mouth. "Let me know when you're ready."

(Hah! That was quicker than I though it would be! lol.)
She hesitated a moment, a small amount of fear running through her, before she took the necklace off again. Handing it to the other girl, she forced herself to remain calm as she watched to see what would happen. "Be careful," she mumbled, a slightly amount of concern breaking through her facade.

Dream smiled. Together, he and Holly might be able to figure this out. It was fairly obvious that Kihaku had no hopes of anything working, but if he were to give up helping her, then he would be neglecting his duties. He was put here to help people, and that was exactly what he was going to do. "I think she'll be fine. If not, I'll be right here to heal her."

Holly accepted the necklace with a reassuring smile and held it in the cusp of her two hands. She examined it curiously, then she concentrated on it, all traces of geniality gone.
Feeling the locket grow hotter, she manipulated the heat so that it went to the air surrounding her. The room was slowly getting hotter. She looked at Kihaku and said, "This locket has a lot of power, but I can open it. Do you want me to?"

Again Kihaku hesitated, unsure if she really wanted to know what was hidden inside. Biting her lip, she nodded and continued to watch with unabated attention. I can handle it, she thought harshly, I can handle anything that gets thrown at me!

((I would suggest you two talk to each other about what you want in the locket outside the RP, so that it's not too wierd or unuseable. Just a suggestion.))
Dream watched as she prepared to open the locket. He looked at Kihaku; she seemed to be extremely apprehensive about what would be seen in there. He actually wouldn't be surprised if there was a second defensive spell in there, so he was on his guard. Then again, the entire locket could be completely empty. They'd soon find out.

A little girl sat perched on a small crumbling stone wall eyeing the gate that lead to the halls of heaven with a mixture of curiosity and revulsion at the gleaming gold barrier. She looked to be about six years old, with long blond hair and icy blue eyes and wore a simple white dress that slightly grubby and more than a bit tattered. She thought she could see two demons in the distance but was unsure, the light streaming from the gate was almost blinding to her.
Aysel slipped off the wall and to anyone watching it became almost immediately apparent that this little girl was far from normal. Her movements were unlike a child and instead resembled that of a predator each move carefully calculated to perfection which resulted in silence as she moved towards the blinding pearly gates. She froze when a human male crossed her path and looked upon the small child with pity. But the pity soon turned to fear and then calm as the life ebbed from his body. The little girl had ripped out his throat and studied her arm which was now glistening red as his blood dripped down it. She licked some of the blood from her hand with relish before rummaging through the dead man's belongings and finding nothing of value to her she let his body be and continued on her way.
For despite appearances Aysel was no mere child, she was a demoness and she took great glee in confusing those idiotic human mortals and those horribly holy flying rats, the angels. It amused her greatly that her disguise provoked such strong reactions in them, more than once an angel had tried to protect an innocent little girl from her enemies. Only to discover that they had been horribly mistaken when the demoness had ripped them limb from limb for their trouble. Aysel was new to this part of the world and wondered just what it had in store...

Haucon smiled back at Dream, "No problem." he said with a wink, before grabbing two plates and beginning to pile them. One he filled with a little bit of everything for Leila, the other he covered with as much spicy food as possible. This task completed he got down two glasses from a cupboard. "Sorry guys, I should've told you where stuff was." he said apologetically, leaving the cupboard open.
After filling both glasses with water, he performed an amazing feat of balance, holding his own plate on his forearm, and Leila's in his left hand while gripping two pairs of chopsticks and a fork in his right elbow, and holding both glasses carefully in his right hand. He laughed at himself when he had to set a few things down to open the door to his room. "I'm going to leave the door open, so the others don't feel left out." he explained to Leila once he was back. "I hope that's alright." he added. "Here." he said handing her the plate of food and offering her a choice of chopsticks or fork. "Didn't know if you'd prefer one or the other." he explained sitting opposite her.

Leila sat up slowly and took the plate, her innards reacting instantly to the smell of the food. She picked up the chopsticks, one in each hand, and simply stared at them confused. "How...am I supposed to eat with these?" she asked, looking from them back to Haucon. They settled on his face for a few seconds before they fell upon the others through the open door, instantly falling on the face of the newcomer. "H..hello..." she said to the others with a small wave, her eyes averting to the floor. She knew Liam was amongst them, but didn't want to see him right now... "Th...thank you, Haucon..." she whispered to him before handing him back the chopsticks and opting for the simpler fork instead. Not realizing how hungry she was, she shoved a forkful into her mouth unconsciously and reacted with equal fervour when the spicy taste of the kimchi hit her: coughing and sputtering while trying not to spit the food out and tears rushing to her eyes quickly.

Haucon smiled at Leila's shock at the chopsticks. "That's why I brought this." he explained as she took the fork. She seemed a bit distant and kept looking at the floor. She's probably just hungry. he thought. He began to voraciously attack his food and thus it was that his mouth was full to bursting when Leila tried the food. He tried to swallow as she sputtered, and finally succeeded, handing her a glass of water. "You alright, love?" he asked, when he'd fully swallowed.

Leila quickly downed the entire glass of water as she tried to swallow what was already in her mouth, creating a soggy weird mess in her mouth that she simply wanted to get rid of. After a few more seconds of struggling, she finally swallowed it all, panting heavily and her tongue out of her mouth. "I...don't think I like kimchi very much..." she replied with a slightly exasperated smile.

Haucon smiled and tried not to laugh. "I'm sorry...It's not for everyone..." he explained stuffing his mouth full yet again. "Are you feeling better?" he asked.

"A bit..I guess I just needed a nap is all..." Leila replied, pushing the kimchi on her plate to one side and started eating the rest of her food. She leaned in a bit closer and whispered. "How did you find this Kihaku girl? She seems...different in some way but I can't put my finger on it..." she finished her question by poking him in the shoulder with the tines of her fork. "And she's pretty, too..." she said with a large grin before placing more food in her mouth."

Aysel was not the kind of demoness that moved to a new place and remained inconspicuous for long. It was just not in her nature and so it was not long at all before she got into a long and bloody fight with an angel and its friends that just refused to die. She had been hurling spell after spell at the angel above her. She was suddenly scooped up by one of its friends and a short but violent scuffle in mid air ensued until she sank her sharp teeth into its arm causing a howl of pain from the angel and it lashed out sending Aysel sailing though a window in the side of a nearby building.
The demoness crashed through the glass and rolled over several times and coming to a stop, she stayed still being momentarily stunned. Aysel blinked several times and looked around seeing several beings - a human or two, a fairy, a succubus demon (traitorous wretch, fraternizing with lesser beings) and got to her feet calmly and brushed the glass from her dress, had a quick run down of the numerous gashes from the glass and appeared to compose herself for a moment before heading back towards the broken window. Intending to rip that angel limb from limb when she got her hands on him.
