Sachio was awoken by Rae's scream of pain, and was immediately on the offensive. At the sight of Kyou, he let out a small growl, his tail wrapping around Rae's neck, in a weak attempt to protect and comfort her.

Rae was about to respong to Kyou, but looked up as she heard Sachio growl. "It's alright Sachio...Kyou...is my mate..." She continued coughing in fits, and ended wit ha sigh.
