Iust realized that the conversation in question did not involve him and thought it best that Iria and whatever she saw had some privacy so he walked back out into the hallway. Might as well try guard duty, he thought. Leaning up against the cold steel wall of the hallway he reflected upon the events leading him to the current situation. Where do we go from here? What's going to happen next?

"Master, it seems someone else is here," Gunther said, pointing out a Firestorm class ship on a landing pad. "Who could it be?"
"I know not, padawan," Kalnar replied, bringing the old Lambda class shuttle to land in a nearby field.
"Pirates? Mercenaries?" Gunther supposed out loud.
"Mayhaps. But, this is an abandoned facility. Anything of value surely must have been taken by now?"
"Perhaps," Gunther supposed. "However, I feel a bit of a chill here,"
"Likewise, young padawan," Kalnar also said. "I know not what to expect, save for a vergence in the Force,"
"Of course, Master," Gunther said, as the two Jedi landed, and made ready to exit the shuttle.

Cale Darksun ElladanKenet Ordo dodged again, this time not as fortunate as before. His damaged arm was hit by the hot fumes, but his reserved heat shield shirked off most of the damage and radiation. He kept clear of the blast until the man either ran out of fuel, or changed his attack.
"Get back here boy. I'm not done with you yet." Mandalore told him.As the cord shot for his legs, still paying attention not to get roasted, Ordo shoeved his knife into the ground, slicing the rope cleanly, beefore retrieving it and landing ont his other leg. He still had some tricks up his sleeve, and was pleased to see that he wasn't entirely unfit to be a warrior.

NVM, you spelled it wrong
but neither does it mention what can cut it. a vibrokinfe can block lightsaber attacks, so shouldn't that make it almost as dangerous, albeit minus the instant-carterization and mind-numbing heat)

ElladanKenet (i looked that up and couldnt find anything on it. ill edit my post) ((Gotta type in Fibrecord Whip. the way they have the search on Wookiee you have to have just the right phrase or you dont come up with squat. But in the day and age of Star Wars, you can bet that the Fibre stands for a Carbon fibre cord. Incredibly strong and virtually unbreakable unless one happens to hit it with a lightsaber or deflect a blaster bolt into it. In Star Wars, usin "Rope" is downright primative. I'm not an Ewok y'know.))

Only Vibroblades made of Cortosis Weave, Phrik or Mandalorian iron. And the reason why a lightsaber can cut it is because a Lightsaver melts through the carbon, not slices.))

((Thats total bull... In this era Cortosis is almost completely unknown. Luke Skywalker had to tell Mara Jade what Cortosis is for god sake.))

ElladanKenet (according to Wook, all vibroknives have cortosis weaves) ((I looked. And it said nothing of the sort. The closest I got was that some Vibroswords had Cortosis weave. It specifically states in the entry on Vibroblades that: Quote: The cortosis weave became less common when the probability of fighting a lightsaber-wielding opponent decreased. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, knowledge of cortosis weave, as well as the mineral itself, was extremely rare. ))

Mandalore stalked forward, his hand clenching and unclenching as he drew towards his opponent. "Come on Ordo. Fight me. You'll have to get close to put that knife in me. Or did you forget how to do that? You always were the stupid one of the Litter." With a sudden burst of speed he charged Ordo, slipping beyond his knife and smashing his gauntleted fist into the man's helmeted face. The blow rocked Ordo off his feet and sent him sprawling onto the ground.
"Never payed attention to a damn thing I said. No wonder you make others fight your battles. I'll bet even Wedge could beat you down. You're soft Ordo. You're soft without deserving to be soft."

(I'd prefer you not taking control of my characters, But i dont feel like arguing with you)
Ordo grunted, more blood coming from his nose now. He was lucky he had his helmet, or else he'd already be dead.
Lucky for him, his blassters were practically in his hand. Before the Mandalore could utter another word, Ordo spun onto his back, pulling both blasters and ignoring his broken arm, as he unleashed a torrent of blaster shots on the man, hammering him in the vulnerable neck, and plastering his visor. Before he could react, he rolled out of the way, crouching to his feet with his blasters leveled.
While he rolled, however, he pushed the button on his wrist gauntlet, unleashing the barely noticiable end of a lethal poison-tipped projectile. There wasn't enough of the stuff to kill anyone, but more than enough to numb a man's body almost instantly. All he needed was a single shot.
