He couldn't believe how upset Asher was, but he couldn't blame the older man either. Leo climbed back onto the bed and cradled his brother's head in his arms, slowly stroking his hair and comforting him gently. He wished there was something more he could do for him, something he could say to make him feel better.

Asher continuously fought against his emotions, at times on the brink of losing and letting some tears escape. "S-sorry, Leo. You shouldn't have seen this side of me," he apologized, taking a deep breath. "I don't even know why I'm starting to believe him or something. That damn kid...!"

Leo gave a soft sigh. "Don't worry about me. You've always been there for me." he said softly, continuing to hold his brother even if Ash didn't want it. "Just forget about him, he probably saw the news article about your brother and decided to hurt you. Just don't let him win. He's probably lying anyways."

Asher once again didn't answer, but he was starting to calm down. Leo was probably right. The kid was a spy, so he probably did do some research. Even so, there was indeed some part of him that wished he had been telling the truth.

Leo gave a soft sigh and pressed his forehead against Asher's and held him for a few minutes longer before he felt around for the remote to turn on the tv, even if they didn't watch it at least some noise was there to try and take Asher's mind off of everything. "Don't worry so much, it's going to make you sick someday."

"I suppose you're right," Asher said after a while. "Thanks for... not laughing or anything." He quickly dried his eyes and took a deep breath, feeling much better, though rather embarrassed that their roles had reversed for a bit. It was probably a good thing, though, as Leo had wanted to be helpful.

Leo smiled, glad that his brother was cheering up a little. "What else am I here for?" he asked happily, placing his hand on top of Asher's. "We will always be there for each other no matter what, right?" Leo backed up a little and sat in his spot once again, listening to the television and hoping their friends would be back soon.

Asher smiled. "Yeah. No matter what," he confirmed as he hugged his brother. It was probably odd to say, but he was actually a bit thankful for the accident. At least he had Leo. Probably an apology gift from fate.

Leo smiled when it sounded like Asher was cheering up. "Sounds like Wall-E is on tv." he said as he heard the familiar cartoon robot voices. The only reason he knew what the name of the movie was, despite never having actually seen it when he was younger as it was not created back then, was because he had listened to it in the apartment once before while Asher was home.

"Sure looks like it," Asher confirmed as he looked up at the TV. "I sure hope the Earth doesn't end up like that in the future. Too bad not enough people really care." He suddenly heard the door open to reveal Cherry and Sasha, both of whom had backpacks. They must have gotten off from school.

Leo heard the door opened and for a minute guessed it was that boy from earlier, but he wouldn't be stupid enough to return so quickly. "Chase?" he called, hoping it was finally their friends. Not that he didn't enjoy his brother's company but rather he was very excited for Ash to be healed

"No, not Chase. He won't get off work until five," said Cherry as she set her stuff down. "So, how is everything? You two look real cozy." She muttered something under her breath and then lightly slapped herself. There was no need to lose her sanity right now. "Once he gets here, we can start the healing process. Leo, you told him, right?"

Leo was just glad to hear any friendly voice really. "I-I can't remember....Ash did I tell you they'd be able to fix your back the rest of the way?" he asked curiously, with everything that had just happened he was surprised he could remember much of anything.

"Yeah, you said something like that," Asher confirmed. "To be honest, I'm actually kinda nervous. Can you and Chase really heal my back?" He doubted that the twins had professional training in the field, but they seemed skilled enough to do some minor healing."We can try," Cherry answered. "Don't worry. The doctors did most of the work, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. We healed your brother's scars, after all, and apparently that Elsa lady used a powerful spell on him." Her expression became slightly irritated at the mention of Elsa, but she quickly calmed down. "Anyway, we'll need to wait for Chase to arrive, and then we can start."

Leo smiled, glad his friends could help but what of that boy? He had to warn their friends about him for when they move to the agency but he didn't want to upset his brother right now. Asher was finally cheered up and he didn't want to say or do anything that would remind him of what just happened. "You guys can have a seat wherever. There are chairs." he said softly, claiming his seat with Asher on the bed. "How was your guys' day?"
