Cole walked around, Mira probably right on his tail, waiting for him to mess up. He eventually found a park. It looked interesting enough. And it could distract her long enough for him to get a break. He walked into the park, and almost immediatly tripped on a root from a tree, landing next to the tree. "....uhhh...."
"...But...I guess I could...."

"Idiot," Mira said, just loud enough for well, just about everyone in the park to hear.
She rolled her eyes as she caught up with Cole.
"A park," she said, leaning against the tree and looking around, not even offering to help him up, "why a park of all places? Do you think I'm a little kid who wants to play games at a park or something?"
Mira attempted not to look too happy to see the usual playground things.
The swings, the seesaw, the slide.... It had been ages since she last visited a park and she couldn't help but be mildly excited.
Not that she would show that on her face, or at least try not to...

Cole sighed when he heard idiot. And he sat up to find Mira leaning against the tree. She was trying to act like she was angry. But, she almost seemed happy. Cole leaned against the tree as well, still sitting on the ground. "Well...sorry..."
"...But...I guess I could...."

Mira finally looked down at Cole.
"And what are you doing still sitting there on the filthy ground? You're probably sitting on a spider or something right now...." she said as a matter of factually.
She liked to think the worst of things, being pessimistic. As a plus, it also annoyed people.
Mira struggled to resist just giving in to her impulses and running to the swings like she would have if she were younger.
"Idiot..." she muttered again.

Cole sighed when Mira spoke. She was always so negative all the time. He checked under himself, seeing nothing was there he sat back down. Cole wasn't sure whether or not it'd be safe to use sarcasm or not. But instead he decided to try and lure her to the thing she was staring at. The swings. He stood and walked over to the swing. Sitting down on the only one and swinging back and forth.
"...But...I guess I could...."

Mira gaped at Cole who had for some reason, as if he had read her mind, went and took over the sole swing.
"..."
Part of her wanted to go over there and sock him, but another part of her knew that if she did, she was basically admitting that she wanted a turn on the swings too.
"...Why.... Why are you on the swings...." she asked as she tried to keep calm and walk over there.

Cole saw the anger in Mira's eyes. But she was smarter then to show it by attacking him. At least not in public. He relaxed on the swing and swung a little more. "Well....were at the park....why not..." He responded with. Cole sounded very innocent. Because well, he was. He didn't mean to anger her. He just thought the swing would be comfortable.
"...But...I guess I could...."

Mira narrowed her eyes at Cole, not sure whether he was acting dumb or seriously didn't get it.
"Well, since you're taking up the whole swing, does that mean I get to sit on you?" she said, glaring at him.
"Or how about this, you go play in the sand like the innocent child you are," she snapped, grabbing the chain that connected the swing to what held it up and abruptly stopping Cole's swinging.

Cole heard the anger and the frustration in Mira's voice. He almost fell off of the swing when she stopped it. But he held on, just barely. He took a deep breath and uprighted himself. "Mira...just....just calm down...." He said as he looked at her angered expression. He couldn't hold eye contact for to long. Only for a second or two before looking down.
"...But...I guess I could...."

She peered at Cole."Look at me, why are you looking at the ground, there's NOTHING worth seeing there."
She couldn't stand it. Even after all that, he still wouldn't get off?
"You're such an..... infuriating person...." Mira said, almost quaking at the urge to shove him off the swing.

Cole kept his head down until she brought it up. He slowly lifted his head, trying to make eye contact. But it wasn't easy to, with her angry eyes. Cole sighed. "I....I'm sorry....Mira..."

"Just. Get. Off," Mira said slowly, glaring at Cole, "like, NOW, please?"
She tapped her foot impatiently. "Do you like the swings so much??"
Mira thought that he would be an idiot if he didn't get off now. She was already annoyed enough.
Any more and she just might decide to just go ahead and shove him....
'And beat on him, and kick him, and cut him....' she continued on, growing more and more violent in her thoughts.

Cole nodded and got up off of the swing. He took a step to the side and put his hands in his pockets. "...Sorry....I'll uh...I'll just go...back to the room or something..." He looked at Mira for a second and then started walking the other direction.

She grabbed his arm again and led him back to the swings.
"Yeah, you're not going anywhere, Cole," she said, sitting down on the swing, "you're in charge of pushing the swings, so do your job."

Cole figured he had gotten a safe distance from Mira. That there was no way she was going to grab him again. But he was wrong. He stumbled as he was dragged back to the swings. He sighed when he heard he wasn't leaving. It was like an invisible leash around his neck. He sighed and started pushing the swing, staying a safe distance back. "...Yeah...and I'm the kid..." He mummbled to himself.
"...But...I guess I could...."
