Usually, iris would've laughed at nikolai's sudden change of heart when he realized it was her. But not even his silliness could take her out if her mood. "I-I can't find my son... i-I'm terrified something's happened to him..." she sniffled, slowly standing up and brushing the sand off her dress

 "Son?" Nikolai quirked an unamused eyebrow, already forgetting about the clingy child. "Mmm, dearie, I would've never guessed a sex demon such as yourself caring so much for offspring. Although I've never really taken a shine to little darlings. I'm just not a child person, I suppose." he shrugged and took a sip of his drink.

Ray appeared at the beach and looked around. "Hey! Iris! Guess who's back!" he laughed and jumped on her, hugging her tightly

Iris was about to respond to Nikolai when Ray tackled her to the ground. "oh my gods! I've missed you so much! She sighed, burying her tear stained face in his chest, a few happy tears mixing with the worrisome ones.

Iris turned to give the sin a dark glare that almost would've froze him intone except for the arms around her reminded her of other things. "I will. Just... Not here in public..." she sighed, holding some of her boyfriend's shirt in her hand.
