Jane eyed the pods. After a few minutes, she got in and sealed the hatch. It took a few tries, but she managed to do it.

The blinding light ceased and revealed that Ray and Jane were sitting in a plane, weapons in their hands, wearing trooper suits

Jane blinked and wobbled a little then noticed the gun in her hands. She jumped and looked around at the plane then at Ray and his uniform. "What the heck?!" she said.

Ray looked at her blankly and gave her this info:
"Time period, 1945, World War Two
we are the last line of defence against the fascist reich that is Berlin." he pointed to a large building "we cut the flag there, we win this war"
